Carrying her schoolbag, Wang Mo left the school, filled with grievance and sadness. Her steps were heavy, and her emotions were like dark clouds hanging over her. As she walked, Wang Mo came to a chair by the roadside and slowly sat down.
She carefully took Lori out of her bag. Looking at the beautiful Lori, Wang Mo couldn't help but confide, "Lori, I'm so sad. Why did Chen Sisi do this? Everyone is forcing me to apologize, even though I didn't do anything wrong."
Lori looked at her heartbroken master and said gently, "Master, don't be sad. Chen Sisi probably really thought you had a talent for drawing, which is why she recommended you. Everyone was probably just anxious and didn't really want to embarrass you."
"And you have to believe in yourself. You can definitely draw the poster well, and you can dance well too." Lori whispered comfortingly to Wang Mo, saying a lot of heartwarming things. Listening to Lori's words of comfort, Wang Mo's mood gradually improved.
“Master, let me teach you to dance,” Loli suggested. Wang Mo was a little surprised, but nodded nonetheless. So, Loli patiently guided Wang Mo through the movements, and Wang Mo followed along earnestly. Although she was a little clumsy at first, she didn't give up.
Back home, Wang Mo didn't slack off at all. She turned on the light, took out her art supplies, and decided to work late into the night to finish the poster design. She concentrated intently on conceiving the image, carefully sketching each stroke. Time passed slowly, and Wang Mo forgot her fatigue, her mind focused on only one thought: she had to finish the poster and prove herself to everyone. Under the lamplight, Wang Mo's figure appeared exceptionally determined.
Time flew by and the day of the cultural festival arrived.
Through her tireless efforts in drawing late into the night, Wang Mo shone brightly in the fierce poster design competition, winning the crown like a dazzling star. This brilliant achievement surged within her like a powerful wave of pride. However, her group dance performance with her class fell short of expectations.
On the dazzling stage of the group dance performance, all the boys in the class were dressed in sharp, sculpted suits, each one exuding heroic spirit, like noble princes gracefully strolling out of a dreamlike fairy tale.
Chen Sisi, draped in a purple gauze dress that resembled a dreamlike cloud, looked like an elegant fairy descended to earth. She sat gracefully before the piano, which was like a work of art, and her slender fingers danced lightly and nimbly across the keys, playing melodies that were gentle, beautiful, and as ethereal as heavenly music.
Apart from Chen Sisi, all the other girls wore pink dresses as vibrant and delicate as peach blossoms in spring. The dresses resembled peach blossoms swaying gently in the breeze, blooming with dazzling brilliance. Each girl was like the most beautiful and charming flower in spring, so beautiful and radiant that it was impossible to look away.
However, the pink dress looked so out of place on Wang Mo, like a child wearing ill-fitting clothes. Coupled with her slightly messy, wind-blown hair, the overall look was quite jarring, forming a stark contrast with her handsome partner, like a discordant flaw in an otherwise exquisite painting.
Wang Mo stared at her own appearance, and a sense of inferiority welled up in her heart like a fallen leaf in the autumn wind. However, she knew that she must not let her appearance hold her back, and she must do her best to show her unique style in this dance.
On the stage, all the students danced with complete focus, their movements perfectly synchronized, like a well-trained army, full of energy and passion. The entire scene was harmonious and beautiful, like a dreamlike fairyland, a magnificent and colorful painting that captivated everyone. However, in a corner, a completely different scene unfolded.
"Oh dear—I'm so sorry!" Wang Mo cried out in a panic, her voice as sharp as a startled bird.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I stepped on you again. I'm so clumsy." Wang Mo looked at Shu Yan with a face full of apology, her voice as weak as a mosquito's buzz, filled with deep guilt and unease.
Shu Yan, this gentle and kind young man as warm as the spring sun, had been stepped on by Wang Mo countless times. But he still smiled and comforted Wang Mo: "It's okay, it's alright!" His eyes were full of encouragement and trust, like bright stars illuminating the darkness in Wang Mo's heart.
Listening to Shu Yan's comforting words, as warm as a spring breeze, Wang Mo's confidence rekindled like a blazing fire. She secretly resolved to dance even more vigorously, determined not to disappoint Shu Yan again. So she danced with all her might, each movement brimming with power, like an eagle spreading its wings and soaring high. However, she failed to notice Wen Qian's subtle, almost imperceptible, movements.
Wen Qian harbored a deep jealousy towards Wang Mo for being paired with Shu Yan, her heart burning with resentment. She stealthily extended her foot, like a venomous snake lurking in the shadows, and tripped Wang Mo. Caught off guard, Wang Mo fell to the ground with a loud thud.
A deafening boom echoed across the stage. The sound she created was so powerful that all eyes instantly focused on her like arrows. The music stopped abruptly, and the students on stage ceased their dancing, all turning to look at Wang Mo. In their gazes, there was doubt, like a pervasive fog; annoyance, like sharp thorns; worry… a complex web of emotions swirling together.
"Hey, Wang Mo, how can you be so stupid! You're last in PE and you can't even dance such a simple dance. It's your own problem, but you're making the whole class suffer because of you. How can you be so shameless?" Wen Qian's sharp, knife-like voice rang out. She looked at Wang Mo with disgust, her eyes filled with jealousy and anger, like burning flames.
