On a bustling yet tranquil street, in front of a fairytale-like candy store, in an inconspicuous corner, Wenxi was cautiously hiding. She was slightly curled up, as if trying to completely conceal herself in this small corner. Her slightly disheveled hair swayed gently in the breeze, adding to her mysterious aura. Her eyes flickered constantly, revealing tension and anticipation, as if she were planning a small "adventure."
Not far from her, two little followers were pretending to be interested in the candy store, carefully examining the dazzling array of candies. They pointed at this one, looked at that one, feigning curiosity about all the different kinds. One of them picked up a red heart-shaped candy and exclaimed exaggeratedly, "Wow, this candy is so pretty!" The other picked up a blue star-shaped candy and chimed in, "Yes, this one is pretty good too." Their voices were deliberately raised a few decibels, successfully drawing the store manager's attention. The store manager, a kind and friendly young woman, approached with a broad smile, enthusiastically introducing the candies: "Children, all the candies in our store are made with the finest ingredients, and they taste amazing!" Her face beamed with pride, as if she were incredibly proud of her little ones.
This candy shop is filled with all sorts of uniquely shaped candies: adorable animal figures like cute bunnies, clever monkeys, and endearing bears; delicate flower shapes like vibrant roses, fresh lilies, and radiant sunflowers; and odd geometric shapes such as triangles, circles, and rhombuses. The candies are a kaleidoscope of colors: fiery reds, exuding passion; rosy pinks, radiating gentle charm; golden yellows, shimmering with dazzling light; deep blues, like the ocean, rippling with profound mystery; and dreamy purples, like lavender, filling the air with romance. Each candy seems to radiate a sweet magic, making you want to take a bite. They are carefully arranged in transparent glass jars or pretty boxes, shimmering alluringly under the lights.
While nervously watching the situation inside the store, Wenxi whispered instructions to her assistants to distract the store manager. Her eyes gleamed with greed and cunning, like a little fox waiting for its chance to strike.
She bit her lip slightly, secretly calculating, "This time I must take more candy; I can't get caught like last time." Seeing the shop manager completely captivated by her followers, she quickly ran to the counter, her hand moving with lightning speed, precisely grabbing a handful of candy from the box. Her movements were swift and practiced, as if she had done this countless times before. Then, without hesitation, she stuffed the candy into her bag, which instantly filled it like a mysterious treasure trove, revealing its sweet "trophies."
After succeeding, a smug glint flashed in Wenxi's eyes. Without hesitation, she turned and ran, her figure disappearing into the crowd like a startled rabbit. Her steps were light and quick, as if escaping a dangerous trap. At the same time, she didn't forget to turn back and signal to her followers to run away quickly. Receiving the signal, the followers immediately made excuses not to buy anything. One follower scratched his head and said to the shopkeeper, "Excuse me, Auntie, I suddenly remembered that my mother doesn't allow me to eat too much candy, so I'd better not buy any." Another follower quickly added, "Yes, I won't buy any either." Their faces showed panic, and under the shopkeeper's puzzled and curious gaze, they vanished without a trace, as if they had never been there at all.
At that moment, Mandora, observing humans through the mirror, witnessed this scene. Her sharp eyes were fixed on Wenxi's figure, a strange excitement welling up within her. She narrowed her eyes slightly, pondering carefully. Wenxi's greed, cunning, and audacity led Mandora to believe that she was the dark warrior she had been searching for.
In that instant, Mandora seemed to see a new hope for conquering the human world, and a meaningful smile crept onto her lips. Her eyes gleamed with calculation, as if she were already plotting how to bring Wenxi under her wing and make her serve her ambitions.
