Chapter 98 The School Farce 2

In the quiet, elite elementary school teachers' office, the charming and lovely Lori and the proud and beautiful Blue Peacock were casually placed on the slightly worn, time-worn desk. They sat there quietly, like two forgotten treasures.

Suddenly, they realized that their usually busy teachers were not in the office. Lori's bright, star-like eyes flickered, and she turned to the equally beautiful Peacock beside her, saying, "Peacock, let's run away while the teachers are away! This is not a place for us."

"But what if the teacher comes back and finds we're gone? Won't she get suspicious?" Blue Peacock frowned slightly, her eyes revealing worry and hesitation. Her magnificent feathers, which should have been dazzling in the sunlight, appeared somewhat dimmed by her inner unease.

"You're so silly! We're the Ye Luoli fairies with magical powers! We can just erase the teacher's memory later, right? Hurry up! I don't want to be a puppet for everyone to admire forever." Loli finished speaking and resolutely walked towards the door. She stretched out her small, delicate hand and pushed hard against the seemingly heavy door, but it wouldn't budge. "This door is so heavy! I can't open it; it seems locked." A hint of frustration appeared on Loli's face.

"Loli, you just reminded me we're Ye Luoli fairies, so let's use magic to fly away! Ye Luoli magic, Peacock's Kiss!" Peacock cast her spell with anticipation, her voice clear and resonant, as if summoning a mysterious power. Unfortunately, the magic didn't appear as she wished. "Ah, my wings didn't appear! Oops, the magic failed!" With that, she fell to the ground with a soft thud.

"Peacock, are you hurt?" Lori rushed to Blue Peacock's side when she saw her fall and gently helped her up. Her eyes were full of concern, as if Peacock were her most treasured possession.

"I'm fine. How strange, why did the magic stop working?" Blue Peacock said, her face full of confusion. "Let me try again, Ye Luoli magic... Ah, my magic doesn't work either, it's malfunctioned." Loli's face was filled with disappointment, mixed with a hint of fear. Losing her magic made her recall her dark past experiences, those terrible memories flooding back like a tide. She anxiously said to Peacock, "Peacock, let's go through the window! Now that we're out of magic, we need to leave quickly. It's too dangerous here, we can't stay any longer." With her amazing jumping ability, Loli leaped onto the table in a few bounds. Her movements were light and agile, like a nimble kitten. Blue Peacock followed closely behind, saying, "Yes, otherwise, ordinary dolls could fall into the wrong hands. We have to leave here as soon as possible."

Loli and the Blue Peacock tried to open the window, but found it locked. Loli said anxiously, "Now that there's no magic, we can't leave even if we want to. We can only wait for our master to come and get us. I hope our master finds us soon." Her eyes were filled with both expectation and helplessness.

"Sigh, I really don't understand. We can help our owners with their studies, so why won't the teacher allow it?" Blue Peacock and Lori wandered aimlessly around the table, bored. Tired from walking, Blue Peacock sat down on her workbook and took out her little mirror to admire herself: "No matter how I look in the mirror, I still look so beautiful." After looking in the mirror, Blue Peacock inadvertently noticed the workbook on the table with her owner's name written on it.

Blue Peacock immediately had a good idea. She picked up the teacher's red pen and, regardless of whether the answers were right or wrong, ticked off all of Chen Sisi's homework, writing "100 points." She did the same to the remaining homework books. When Lori saw Blue Peacock doing this, she quickly advised her against it. When the homework book with Wen Qian's name appeared in front of Lori, Lori took the red pen and gave her a big zero.

Just then, at the school gate, the teacher was waiting for the parents. The first car to arrive was a blue sedan, which pulled up. The car door slowly opened, and Chen Sisi's mother stepped out. She wore a light blue dress and high heels, her steps light and elegant. Her long hair cascaded over her shoulders like a waterfall, the slightly curled strands adding a touch of allure. Her face was delicate, her skin as white as snow, and her lips were painted with a subtle lipstick; she exuded a noble and elegant aura.

She walked gently to the teacher, smiled, and extended her right hand to shake hands politely. Her movements were graceful, as if every detail had been carefully crafted, showcasing the elegant demeanor of a well-bred young lady.

Meanwhile, Wang Mo's mother was riding a dilapidated bicycle, speeding towards the school. Her face was covered in sweat, and her hair was disheveled, falling loosely across her cheeks. Her clothes were worn, and her hands were covered in dust and dirt; she looked quite disheveled.

When she arrived at the school gate, she jumped out of the car and ran breathlessly towards the teacher. She reached out to shake hands, but suddenly realized her hands were dirty, so she quickly withdrew them and gave an awkward smile. However, all of this was witnessed by Chen Sisi's mother, whose eyes immediately filled with contempt and disdain. She truly couldn't imagine that her daughter would be sitting next to the daughter of such a person.

Both Wang Mo and Chen Sisi's parents arrived. After explaining the situation to them, the teacher returned the dolls to the parents. Wang Mo's mother questioned Wang Mo and then returned the doll to her, expressing her belief that her child was not a thief. Faced with the teacher's questioning, Wang Mo's mother spoke earnestly, making the teacher feel somewhat ashamed. Wang Mo's mother's voice was gentle yet firm; her words were like a spring breeze, bringing warmth and comfort.

Sisi's mother stormed into the office and went straight to Chen Sisi. She angrily berated Chen Sisi, her voice sharp and piercing: "Didn't I tell you not to play with those poor kids? Why did you still talk to Wang Mo in class!" As she spoke, she grabbed Kongque and made as if to throw it into the trash can.
