Chapter 44 Settling the King of Ginkgo Trees

Ye Luoli Wonderland

The forest is a vast and incredibly dense place, like a boundless green ocean. In that mysterious Ye Luoli Wonderland, trees tower into the clouds, their thick trunks like giant stone pillars supporting a green sky. The leaves are layered upon layered, each a different color, some a vibrant emerald, others a deep, dark green, shimmering with a mysterious light under the sunlight. Flowers and grasses flourish like brocade, colorful blossoms blooming in profusion, their petals delicate and dewy, exuding a captivating fragrance. All of them are nourished by magical fairy power, thus growing enormous and incredibly lush.

At this time, the human Ye Luoli warriors had not yet set foot in this fantastical fairyland. Queen Mandora had not yet gone mad in absorbing fairy power, and the entire fairyland was in a relatively peaceful and harmonious state. In this vast forest, there existed all sorts of elves and fairies. The elves were small and exquisite, their bodies shimmering with strange light, like dazzling stars. The fairies, dressed in colorful costumes, fluttered their light wings and danced gracefully among the flowers. In some places, adorable animals ran and frolicked freely, like a beautiful, vibrant painting. Rabbits hopped and skipped in the grass, deer strolled elegantly, and birds sang joyfully in the branches.

Why did Fei Ling, the Ye Luoli fairy doll sitting on her shoulder, shrink again? Because Qi Na was wearing an invisibility cloak. Qi Na hadn't forgotten that Mandora had a mirror that showed the world, so as soon as they left the pavilion, she shrunk Fei Ling and used the item to slowly stroll through the forest. Their faces were filled with intoxication as they fully appreciated the amazing beauty of nature.

Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting golden beams that seemed to drape the forest in a dreamlike glow. Zina tilted her head back, feeling the gentle caress of the breeze, her heart filled with admiration for the beautiful forest. Feiling danced lightly around Zina, occasionally letting out joyful laughter, blending seamlessly with the surrounding natural beauty.

The air in this fairyland was fresh and sweet, seemingly possessing a magical power that soothed the mind and body. Zina closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and savored the unique atmosphere of this paradise. She could almost hear the breath of everything in the forest and feel the pulse of nature. Everything here was so peaceful and beautiful, captivating her completely.

As Qi Na strolled along, she was completely absorbed in the picturesque scenery around her. Her gaze was constantly drawn to everything around her. The trees were all incredibly tall and robust, their upright trunks resembling towering pillars supporting the sky, creating a powerful sense of awe. Moreover, each tree possessed its own unique shape and color. Some trees were graceful, like dancing fairies; some stood straight and tall, like majestic guards; some had deep brown bark, exuding the vicissitudes of time; and some shimmered with an unusual luster, as if shrouded in a mysterious power.

Suddenly, her gaze was drawn to the bushes ahead, where many mushrooms were growing. These mushrooms looked incredibly fresh and delicious; their round caps and vibrant colors made them irresistible to touch. If she had enough time, Zina would love to pick some mushrooms to take home and cook a delicious meal for her grandmother, so that her grandmother could also taste this heavenly delicacy.

Then, Zina saw some magical plants. They emitted a faint light, not strong, but in the dim forest, it shone like stars in the darkness, exceptionally eye-catching. Curious, Zina asked the Ginkgo King in her hands, "Where should we plant you?" The Ginkgo King's steady voice replied, "My requirements are not high, just a place near a water source will suffice. Let me lead the way; I've already found a suitable spot using plant magic." With that, it guided Zina forward.

Zina carefully followed the guidance of the Ginkgo King, traversing the forest step by step. As she progressed, the surrounding scenery constantly changed, like a dynamic scroll slowly unfolding before her eyes. After a long and arduous journey, she finally arrived at a mysterious place. Before her lay a breathtaking sight—a crystal-clear body of water. This body of water, like a dazzling pearl, exuded a captivating charm.

As she gazed at the water, she was awestruck by its purity. The water was so clear it was almost transparent, without a trace of impurity, as if sculpted from the purest crystal. Through the surface, she could clearly see the sand and pebbles at the bottom and the small fish swimming happily, as if they were dancing with the sunlight, adding vitality and life to the whole scene.

At first, she thought she had come to a river, but upon closer inspection, she realized it was no ordinary river, but a vast, boundless ocean. The expansive surface stretched to the horizon, shimmering like a giant mirror, reflecting the azure sky and the surrounding beauty. A gentle breeze rippled across the water, the ripples spreading outwards in concentric circles, creating a dreamlike and breathtaking scene. She was surrounded by countless trees, each with its own unique character.

Qi Na gently placed the Ginkgo Tree King on a clearing near a water source. The clearing was covered in lush, green grass, its tender shoots swaying gently in the breeze, as if welcoming the Ginkgo Tree King. The instant the Ginkgo Tree King touched the ground, it immediately cast a spell, its solemn voice echoing in the air: "Ye Luoli magic, plant magic, restore to original form." The Ginkgo Tree King's branches and leaves rapidly unfurled, like countless nimble arms slowly spreading out. The crisscrossing patterns on its thick trunk seemed to record the vicissitudes and mystery of time. Golden light emanated from the Ginkgo Tree King, illuminating the surrounding area.
