Chapter 200: A Miniature Version of the Yunxiang Holy Land

Ning Yao frowned, releasing her oppressive aura once more: "If you want to die, stay here and see if I can kill people with this sorcery!"

Fu Lixing's expression turned grim, and he immediately spoke up, "What nonsense are you talking about! If this girl wanted to kill us, would she need to rescue us?"

"Those who want to live, get out of here now!"

Fu Lixing's shout immediately gave everyone a sense of security.

Under his leadership, the group left the dungeon in an orderly manner.

Ning Yao watched the last person disappear at the intersection, then turned and walked towards the large iron gate.

Upon closer inspection, it became apparent that the large iron gate bore a striking resemblance to the pillars on the altar.

There was no light in the cave, only a few candles providing illumination, making it difficult to see the true state of things inside.

Therefore, Ning Yao did not immediately see the patterns on the dark iron gate.

At a glance, I could tell it was exactly the same as the one on the pillar outside.

However, without the blood sacrifice of a living puppet, the pattern is dull and lackluster.

Ning Yao raised her hand, releasing a surge of powerful spiritual energy that rushed straight towards the refined iron gate.

Within a few breaths, the stale air inside was expelled.

The spiritual energy, along with the turbid energy, returned to the secret realm once more.

Ning Yao unleashed a fierce palm strike, and the iron gate shattered in response.

A foul, fishy stench wafted in from inside the door, making Ning Yao's stomach churn.

She quickly held her breath.

After calming herself down, Ning Yao stepped inside.

The area inside the iron gate was incredibly spacious, much larger than the sacrificial site outside.

Although the interior is enclosed on all four sides, the fist-sized luminous pearls embedded in the surrounding walls provide enough light.

Ning Yao had only taken a few steps when the scene before her caused her pupils to contract sharply.

Before us is a miniature version of the Yunxiang Holy Land!

The Seven Star Array, the Stone Lotus... or rather, the Iron Lotus inside are exactly the same as those in the Yunxiang Holy Land!

However, the Seven Star Array and the Thousand Illusion Lotus here are both made of refined iron.

What's even more different is that each of the seven star formations has a person sitting cross-legged at its core.

The energy connecting the array's core on the ground wasn't the spiritual energy from the Yunxiang Holy Land, but rather the blood flowing from these people.

The Seven Star Array was laid out in the middle of the field, with the Iron Lotus suspended high above it.

These seven people, positioned at different points in the formation, surrounded the suspended iron lotus in a cohesive manner.

The seven people touched the ground with their fingertips, and blood flowed from their fingertips, flowing through every part of the Seven Star Array, directly activating the array with their blood.

The cycle of energy supports the operation of the Seven Star Array, and in the end, everything returns to the iron lotus floating above.

The iron lotus emitted a dark red light, and the faintly flowing dark red light flew towards the seven people's bodies again, disappearing into them.

Ning Yao immediately realized that the principle behind the operation of the magic array here was the same as that of the Yunxiang Holy Land.

The seven living puppets used their own blood to provide energy for the Seven Star Array, thus supporting the operation of the iron lotus above.

Once Iron Lotus receives supplies from the Seven Star Array, it can then feed back energy to the seven people.

This cycle repeats endlessly, creating a continuous cycle of life.

The only difference is that the grand formation in Yunxiang Holy Land uses spiritual energy, while this one uses some unorthodox methods.

The great formation of Yunxiang Holy Land only stopped outsiders and trapped the people in the city. Unless there was a malicious intent, it would not cause any harm to the human body.

It can even protect the clansmen.

But this miniature version of the great formation uses human blood, a method that is not only cruel but also contrary to the laws of nature!

In contrast, these living puppets all looked like they were in their prime, much more powerful than those outside.

Looking at their attire, Ning Yao couldn't help but wonder if these people were disciples of the Tianyun Sect, or even possibly trained specifically for these evil arts.

Ning Yao thought for a moment, then took action again, interrupting the supply of blood to the seven people and stopping the operation of the Seven Star Formation.

However, with its supply cut off, Iron Lotus launched an attack, sending a powerful dark red light straight toward Ning Yao.

Ning Yao sneered: "Filthy things don't deserve to exist in this world!"

As soon as she finished speaking, an overwhelming surge of spiritual energy emanated from Ning Yao's body, directly counterattacking the dark red light.

In an instant, the pure gold mixed with dark red made the cave several degrees brighter again.

In the end, good triumphed over evil. The dark red light did not last long before it was completely annihilated.

The last remaining pale golden spiritual energy rushed towards Ning Yao once more.

Ning Yao didn't even have time to react before it entered the secret realm.

She didn't feel like she was being forcibly invaded; in fact, the secret realm seemed quite willing to accept these pale gold hues.

After finding nothing unusual during her mental exploration of the secret realm, Ning Yao didn't interfere further.

After destroying the Seven Star Array and Iron Lotus inside the cave, Ning Yao confirmed that there was nothing amiss before preparing to leave.

Glancing at the pile of broken copper and iron and the walls around her, she had a sudden thought and casually put them all into the secret realm.

When passing by the gate made of refined iron, it was also taken into the secret realm.

For this era of cold weapons, refined iron was undoubtedly a good material for forging weapons.

Maybe it will come in handy in the future?

As we walked out of the cave, the heavy rain continued outside.

To Ning Yao's surprise, Fu Lixing and the others did not leave, but waited for her at the cave entrance.

Ning Yao looked up at the sky, then at the crowd who weren't wet from the rain, and she seemed to understand something.

With a slight movement of his right hand, the defense that had been covering them disappeared, and a torrential downpour instantly soaked everyone to the bone.

Of course, Ning Yao is an exception.

Fu Lixing's heart trembled slightly, but he ultimately said nothing.

Although everyone found it very strange, they dared not act rashly in the face of absolute power.

He could only watch Ning Yao with envy, letting the rain pelt him.

"Lord Fu, let's go down the mountain."

Fu Lixing, whose name was mentioned, immediately said, "There's another one who's not quite dead yet. He seems to be an elder of the Tianyun Sect. He's seriously injured. Should we bring him along?"

Ning Yao looked at the sect leader, whose life she had spared, and nodded slightly to Fu Lixing: "Yes, take him along!"

After saying that, she left first.

Later, Fu Lixing found two men to help escort the sect leader down the mountain.

The others followed.

The Tianyun Sect's terrain is treacherous, and even with steps to climb it, it's still a major challenge for ordinary people like Fu Lixing.

Adding to the difficulty was the torrential rain, which made it almost impossible to open one's eyes, making the descent down the mountain particularly challenging.

Ning Yao didn't care about all that, and just made a few torches and handed them to Fu Lixing and the others.

So that they can see the road clearly and don't fall down in a tumble.

With steps that high, you'd be dead if you fell.

After giving out the torches, Ning Yao quickly walked down the mountain alone again.

All that remained were the bewildered crowd in the heavy rain.

Someone, shivering, asked, whether frightened by Ning Yao or simply because of the cold rain, "Lord Fu, who exactly is this woman? Why does she also..."

He didn't finish speaking, but Fu Lixing knew what he wanted to say.

They also possess these "sorcery" techniques...
