Chapter 21: Ghost on Variety Show (3)
Who wants Lou Sheng to be his son!
Ying Zhisheng took a deep breath, words on the tip of his tongue hanging in the air for a long time. Why did such a romantic, life-or-death matter involve the question of who was the father and who was the son?
"Let's check out the room first." Ying Zhisheng noticed that Jiang Huoda and others were walking towards this side.
Lou Sheng's mouth watered as he thought of the fat ghost's words. "I want to try the stinky tofu near this hotel. The ghost told me it's so fragrant it makes people shake their heads. The last time I ate stinky tofu was at the school gate. You and I went together. We squatted on the side of the road and pinched our noses while eating."
Ying Zhisheng slowed down his pace and waited for him, his lips curled slightly. But when he thought of Lou Sheng's life coming to an abrupt end, and that he would never have another chance to try new things, his heart tightened. An overwhelming sense of pain threatened to bury him, and his eyelashes trembled as tears threatened to fall.
"Hey, Ying Zhisheng." Lou Sheng leaned close to him, cupping his hands and placing them on Ying Zhisheng's chin. "Cry, I'll collect your tears and sell them to your ardent fans. I'll sell them for one million each."
"How can it be so valuable, even one million?" Ying Zhisheng took a few steps back and said in a hoarse voice.
"You are Ying Zhisheng, how can you not be worthy?"
…
The next day.
Ying Zhisheng's assistant managers are relatively stable and have been with him for several years. Fans are naturally familiar with Assistant Tao and his colleagues and can recognize them. A few times ago, someone asked Assistant Tao and Uncle Cheng Zhi for a photo together.
This time, Assistant Tao went out fully armed, bundled up, to buy stinky tofu for Ying Zhisheng's hotel room. Then, he hurried to the program's recording location. The live broadcast format for the music variety show significantly reduced the margin for error, putting a heavy test on the production team. The backstage area was a chaotic mess, with people busy searching for props, repairing equipment, and replacing them.
In the lounge, Ying Zhisheng was getting his hair done. Lou Sheng watched as the makeup artist, with a makeup puff bigger than Ying Zhisheng's face, began applying the makeup.
"What a violent method! Fortunately, your nose is not padded." Lou Sheng sat on the table, holding his chin and sighing.
Ying Zhisheng frowned, his long, thin eyelashes stained with powder. He couldn't help but say, "That's enough. It's not a beauty pageant, don't get so meticulous."
This makeup artist was hired by Fuquan at a high price. He whispered, "Brother Sheng, you don't know that the two people from the Crazy Band next door even had their eye bags removed for this show. And Jiang Huoda even spent two months preparing, working out and getting his clothes custom-made. We can't let them outdo us."
"That makes sense." Fuquan agreed with this. It would be a waste not to show off Ying Zhisheng's face. He should make good use of this weapon.
Lou Sheng brushed a strand of hair on Ying Zhisheng's forehead with his fingertips. The chill in his eyes made the gloomy man's brows light up.
Lou Sheng asked, "Are you nervous?"
"right."
Ying Zhisheng isn't one to embrace the passion of his fans and shine under the spotlight. In all his years in the industry, he's only held three concerts, the first two of which were forced upon him by his father.
Lou Sheng blew his hair and played, "Don't worry, I'm with you."
Ying Zhisheng's eyes moved slightly and he said okay.
In the world of yin and yang, life and death are the boundaries. In a quiet room, others cannot see Lou Sheng. The makeup artist, applying eyeshadow quickly, had a subtle look on her face when she heard Ying Zhisheng muttering to himself.
Fuquan clenched the itinerary schedule in his hand and played with his phone, pretending not to hear.
Lou Sheng hummed one of Ying Zhisheng's songs and watched the whole process of Ying Zhisheng's exquisite styling in a happy mood. This styling was not ostentatious but clever. A few strands of jet-black hair added a youthful touch. A teardrop mole was added out of thin air at the end of the eye, which matched the gloomy and sad temperament, making it even more broken and eye-catching.
"It looks good." Lou Sheng applauded.
Ying Zhisheng looked at himself in the mirror, and Lou Sheng beside him. He said, "Change the teardrop mole at the end of your eye to the lower eyelid."
Lou Sheng had a mole on his lower eyelid, and a pair of bright, smiling peach blossom eyes. He appeared to be ruthless, but when he looked at people, he was filled with deep affection. That was how he was deceived.
Hearing Ying Zhisheng's request, Lou Sheng recalled how this guy had to have the same water cup, backpack, headphones, watch, and even clothes and pants as him in school. So he leaned over and whispered in Ying Zhisheng's ear, "You're such a shrewd person. Just because you insisted on using the same water cup as me, I've drunk from the wrong cup several times and ended up drinking your throat-protecting herbal tea. I almost vomited."
Ying Zhisheng suddenly laughed.
This smile seemed to be frozen and slowed down in Lou Sheng's eyes. He couldn't help but lift Ying Zhisheng's chin with his hand. The words he wanted to say stopped abruptly, and he simply turned around and sat on the dressing table to continue humming.
After all, he wasn't a professional, so a few lines were off-tune. Ying Zhisheng chuckled and began singing the lines Lou Sheng hadn't sung well, pausing occasionally to listen quietly before continuing to teach him.
However, in the eyes of the makeup artist, he felt his bones chill and his hair stand on end, and he was terrified.
The explosive news revealed that Ying Zhisheng, who was sitting at the top of the music scene, had mental problems.
He lowered his head to pack up his makeup brushes, sighing inwardly that this might be the inevitable fate of a genius.
"Sing! 3" airs every Wednesday night at 8:00 PM and ends at 12:00 PM, dominating prime time and easily topping the charts in terms of views. The show immediately becomes a hit, with a barrage of comments appearing to cheer on their favorite singers.
[Peanuts for Me 3711: The Peanut Army is Coming!!! Make Way for Me!!!]
[Yi Lu Sheng Hua LVE: Having a child! Having a child! Having a child! This is the first time for having a child to appear in a variety show, so excited!]

[Replying to Peanuts for me: Don't worry, Shengge is very opposed to dream girls. Big fans all know that Shengge has someone he likes. With so many male celebrities, why not find someone else?]
Donkey-faced cool guy: So funny, being a star yet still resisting dream girls, why are you pretending to be so noble [vomit] [vomit] You make so much money but you're still not dedicated to your job, so damn good!
[Replying to Peanut37 for me...: Sorry, Ying Zhisheng is a singer. His singing, composition, and stage performance are all excellent. No one in his profession dares to compare. Does he need fans??]
[*/ I, Huoda, am furious: That being said, Sun Qing's performances can still compete with Ying Zhisheng's, right? Ying Zhisheng's only famous scene is the one where he struggles with the chains in "Kuai Ni Guang," and that was years ago.]

…
On the huge stage, the lights suddenly went out and the audience held their breath and waited in anticipation.
Then, a sudden burst of white light erupted, a dazzling, dynamic collision of light that brought a visual feast. In the center of the stage was a majestic Chinese character for "music," with red and yellow flame-like special effects swirling around it. Below, a sea of spectators murmured in anticipation.
"Welcome to the stage of "Top of the Pop 3", I am the host Liu Qifeng!"
