"Then where do you live?" Gu Yan pressed.
“Of course I’ll go back to my home during summer vacation,” Li Peiyu replied matter-of-factly.
"Go home?" Gu Yan repeated, somewhat puzzled.
"Yeah, I was about to board the high-speed train home, but I had to change my ticket because of you," Li Peiyu said irritably.
Gu Yan was stunned for a moment after hearing this, and stood there at a loss for what to do.
"You all get along well, I have to catch the high-speed train tonight. My whole family is waiting for me to have dinner," Li Peiyu said hurriedly as she lifted her foot to leave.
"Bye-bye," Guo Jiahe and Lin Wanwan said in unison.
Gu Yan then came to his senses, burst out of the door, grabbed Li Peiyu who was going down the steps, and said urgently, "Don't go home."
"Why should I?" Li Peiyu glared at him angrily.
"I...I haven't seen you for several days. I...I miss you." Gu Yan's voice trembled slightly, and his eyes were full of longing.
"Gu Yan, can you please let me go? I really have no feelings for you, please just let me go." Li Peiyu's face was full of helplessness and annoyance.
"No." Gu Yan answered firmly, increasing the pressure on his hand.
Gu Yan and Li Peiyu started shoving each other, and Li Peiyu accidentally slipped and fell on the steps.
"Ah!" Li Peiyu couldn't help but cry out in pain.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." Gu Yan squatted down in a panic, his face full of guilt. "Where did you fall? Does it hurt?"
"Come on, let me help you up," Gu Yan said, reaching out to help.
Li Peiyu tried to stand up, "Ouch, my feet hurt," Li Peiyu gasped.
"It looks like you twisted your ankle." Gu Yan frowned, looking worried.
