"I'll cook some porridge, do you want some?" Lu Yuzhi asked calmly, ignoring Zhang Yuwen.
"Drink," Xiao Fan answered without hesitation, his answer crisp and decisive.
Zhang Yuwen chimed in, "Drink up, make more, my niece hasn't had breakfast yet."
"My niece?" Lu Yuzhi looked puzzled, his brows furrowing slightly.
“Yes, she’s my eldest niece, Li Peiyu. She calls me brother, and I call her my eldest niece,” Zhang Yuwen explained with a smug look on his face.
Lu Yu remained silent, his brows slightly furrowed, staring blankly at Zhang Yuwen.
Zhang Yuwen shouted loudly, "Niece, come here."
Li Peiyu had just finished washing her shoes and was taking a nap in the room when she vaguely heard Zhang Yuwen calling her. She immediately woke up and hurriedly came down from the second floor.
"The kitchen is here," Zhang Yuwen called out to Li Peiyu.
As Li Peiyu approached, she immediately saw Lu Yuzhi standing tall and steady by the stove. He was tall and slender with broad shoulders and a narrow waist, his proportions were perfect. He elegantly and calmly rolled up his shirt sleeves, exuding a charm with every move.
When Zhang Yuwen saw Li Peiyu, his face was full of smiles. "My dear niece, call me Brother Wen."
"Brother Wen," Li Peiyu called out obediently.
"Oh, so good." Zhang Yuwen smiled so much that his eyes narrowed into slits.
Lu Yuzhi watched Li Peiyu from the side, his sword-like eyebrows slightly furrowed, his cold face exuding a chilling aura.
"Would you like some porridge?" Lu Yuzhi asked casually as he tied his apron, turning his gaze away from the question.
"Mmm." Li Peiyu nodded obediently.
Lu Yuzhi slowly turned on the tap, and clear water gushed over the pot. Then, with a cold expression, he asked in a stern voice, "Where is the rice?"
Zhang Yuwen quickly took out rice from the cabinet next to him, handed it to Lu Yuzhi, and instructed him, "Cook it well, don't let it burn."
