As she approached, Lu Yuzhi grabbed her wrist without hesitation, pulling her close with a strong and resolute force.
Lu Yuzhi gently cupped her face in his hands, gazing intently into her eyes, his gaze filled with deep affection and longing.
Then, his lips gently touched hers.
This sudden action startled Li Peiyu, but his soft lips melted her heart.
"Tsk tsk tsk, they're not even trying to hide it from people anymore," Zhang Yuwen teased with a smile, his laughter carrying a hint of mockery.
Lu Yuzhi pressed Li Peiyu's head against his chest, his heartbeat steady and strong. "You already knew, you bastard."
Zhang Yuwen and Xiao Fan chuckled, their laughter echoing in the room.
"I really don't understand, Mr. Lu, why are you so interested in my niece?" Zhang Yuwen said with a curious look, his eyes shifting back and forth between Lu Yuzhi and Li Peiyu.
"Still holding her in your arms? Why don't you let your niece answer two questions for me? What are you afraid of?" Xiao Fan crossed his arms, a hint of mockery on his face.
"Is she the one you mentioned before who asked you to block her after breaking up with her?"
"When did you two get together? Tell me!" Zhang Yuwen persisted, determined to get to the bottom of it.
Lu Yuzhi looked at Li Peiyu in his arms, his face full of tenderness, his eyes so soft they seemed to drip with water.
“Look at how gentle President Lu is, so innocent.” Zhang Yuwen chimed in, “I never imagined that President Lu, who is usually so decisive and efficient, could be so tender. We should take a picture to remember this moment.”
Li Peiyu nestled in Lu Yuzhi's chest, her face as red as a ripe apple. Oh, how embarrassing!
