Qin Mingyue couldn't wait to call Grandpa Lu.
"Grandpa Lu, it's me, Mingyue. Are you asleep?" Qin Mingyue's voice was clear and sweet.
"Little Mingyue, Grandpa hasn't gone to sleep yet. What's up, Little Mingyue?" Actually, Grandpa Lu had already lain down and was drifting off to sleep when this phone call woke him up. But since it was his granddaughter-in-law calling, Grandpa Lu's face was full of a kind smile.

"In the US? What was he doing there?" Old Master Lu took the phone from Old Xu and asked anxiously, "Who did he go to the US with?"
"With a girl named Li Peiyu." Qiao An chuckled to herself on the other end of the phone. Li Peiyu, just you wait, the show is about to begin.
"Li Peiyu?" Old Master Lu frowned.

"You have no shame! Who's playing whom here?" Qin Mingyue glared at her angrily.
“Of course I’m the one messing with him. Ask him if that’s true.” Li Peiyu looked at Lu Yuzhi provocatively.
"Yes." Lu Yuzhi pinched Li Peiyu's chin and answered without hesitation.
He was just worried that Li Peiyu would be bullied, but how could someone as sharp-tongued as Li Peiyu possibly be bullied?
“Miss Li, you can have fun. I’m not in a hurry. After all, Lu Yuzhi and I still have the rest of our lives to play.” Qin Mingyue retorted.
The implication is that playing around is fine, but don't even dream about getting married and growing old together.
