Extra Chapter 10: Disgusting, I'm used to it

On this first day at Gu Hongxi's manor, Wang Boyang and Gu Yan were constantly hugging and embracing, occasionally exchanging glances and kissing. Gu Hongxi couldn't bear to watch, but after a while, she actually got used to it.

The next day, sunlight filtered through thin clouds, falling softly onto the earth. Gu Yan got up early, washed up, and prepared to go to the company to hand over his work. He packed his documents and belongings, and as he left, his gaze fell on Wang Boyang, who was still lying in bed.

Gu Yan walked to the bedside and said softly, "I'm going to the company. Come with me." He was afraid that if he left Wang Boyang alone at home, his mother, that old witch, would feed him a poisoned apple or something.

Wang Boyang rubbed his sleepy eyes, yawned, and said lazily, "I want to sleep a little longer. You can go by yourself." He turned over, seemingly about to fall back asleep.

Seeing his expression, Gu Yan had no choice but to let him be. "Then you should get some rest. Call me if anything happens," Gu Yan said before turning and leaving the house.

After Gu Yan left, Wang Boyang slept in bed for a while. After getting up, he quickly tidied himself up and took a taxi out.

He went to a renowned jewelry store and ordered a pair of rings.

As night falls, the city's neon lights begin to twinkle, illuminating the streets and alleys.

Gu Yan returned from the company. As he walked into his house, he saw Wang Boyang already waiting at the door.

As soon as Wang Boyang saw Gu Yan, a bright smile immediately appeared on his face. He went up to him, and the two naturally became affectionate with each other.

"Did my mom make things difficult for you?"

"No."

Just then, footsteps sounded behind him. Turning around, he saw Gu Hongxi walking out slowly, dressed in a blue dress, with exquisite makeup, exuding nobility and elegance.

Gu Yan saw Gu Hongxi grab Wang Boyang's hand, as if on purpose, and ask, "Mom, shall we go out?"

"I'm going to an auction with some friends." Gu Hongxi's face was calm and expressionless.

Have fun.

Gu Hongxi took two steps, then turned back. "Are you going?"

Gu Yan hesitated for a moment, thinking that Wang Boyang must have been bored at home that day, and then said, "Let's go. Let's go together."

Gu Hongxi did not object.

The car sped along the bustling streets and soon arrived at the magnificent World Trade Center. The World Trade Center boasts a unique architectural style; its towering glass curtain walls shimmered brilliantly in the sunlight, showcasing the charm and luxury of modern architecture.

As they reached the main entrance, Gu Hongxi encountered several blonde, blue-eyed ladies she had arranged to meet. These ladies were all dressed in magnificent attire, adorned with dazzling jewelry, and exuded an air of nobility. Upon meeting, they greeted each other warmly, their laughter echoing at the entrance of the hall. Gu Hongxi chatted amiably with them, and soon they entered the venue together.

The venue was decorated in a magnificent and opulent style, with dazzling lights illuminating every corner. Rows of neat seats were filled with celebrities and dignitaries from all over the world, who chatted in hushed tones, creating a warm and expectant atmosphere.

On the auction stage, precious items were displayed, each exuding its own unique charm. The host stood on the stage, introducing the items to be auctioned in a captivating voice.

"Distinguished guests, the next item presented to us is a 35-carat sapphire and diamond ring, a true rare treasure..."

The auction began, prices soared, and competition was fierce.

"One hundred and twenty million once, one hundred million..." The host's voice was impassioned and rhythmic.

Just then, Wang Boyang raised his sign. His action instantly attracted the attention of those around him, and Gu Yan and Gu Hongxi were also stunned. They stared wide-eyed at Wang Boyang.

"This gentleman offered 150 million... Sold."

After Wang Boyang signed the transaction confirmation, Gu Yan's face lit up with excitement. He looked at Wang Boyang expectantly and asked, "For me?"

Wang Boyang calmly replied, "No."

"No?" Gu Yan's expression changed instantly. He frowned, his tone carrying a hint of childish capriciousness, "I'm not happy."

"What do you need a diamond ring for, you're a man?" Wang Boyang asked with a smile.

"I want it, so what?"

Wang Boyang shook his head helplessly and said with a smile, "Here you go, here you go. I've never seen anyone ask for a gift."

Gu Yan then revealed a happy smile.

On the way home, Gu Yan questioned, "Who were you originally going to give it to?"

"This is for you."

"Pshaw, no, I only got it because I insisted on it."

"Then try asking someone else for one, see who can give it to you."

The two chatted back and forth in the back seat, and Gu Hongxi's expression softened noticeably as she sat in the passenger seat.

When it was time for bed, Gu Yan and Wang Boyang pushed open the door and entered the room. What they saw made them shudder.

Who put that bright red bed sheet on? It even has a pair of mandarin ducks embroidered on it.
