After taking a quick shower, applying lotion, and putting on a bathrobe, Li Peiyu went to find her husband.
Since finding out she was pregnant, her husband hasn't had sex with her.
Tonight, it's time for a battle.
After leaving the bathroom, she looked around but Lu Yuzhi wasn't there. She tiptoed to the study and, sure enough, saw Lu Yuzhi sitting there reading documents, his expression focused and his brows furrowed.
Lu Yuzhi looked up and saw his wife. He put down the documents in his hand, and his usually cold and aloof face softened into a doting smile. "Finished washing? Is your hair dry?"
"It's dried."
"Let me check."
Li Peiyu bit her lip, walked over, lifted Lu Yuzhi's arm that was on the table, and sat sideways on his lap.
Lu Yuzhi reached out and touched her hair, carefully checking it. He made sure to dry both the ends and roots of her hair.
Why didn't you ask me to blow-dry your hair?
"You made crayfish for me today, thank you for your hard work, so I'll brag about it for a bit."
"She knows how to cherish her husband now."
"Of course I know, when haven't I felt heartache?"
Lu Yuzhi stroked her hair, picked her up, and said softly, "I'll lull you to sleep."
"No!" Li Peiyu patted Lu Yuzhi's shoulder urgently. "Sit down."
Lu Yu looked bewildered. "What's wrong, baby? Don't you want to sleep?"
Li Peiyu shifted her body and adjusted her posture, wanting to face him directly, but the space was a bit cramped.
Lu Yuzhi supported her waist, pulled the chair back a little to make room, and said helplessly, "Slow down, be careful of your stomach."
Li Peiyu no longer sat to the side, but sat directly facing his face on his lap.
"What do you want?" Lu Yu held one of her legs with one hand, seemingly having already seen through her little scheme.
"Nothing." Li Peiyu buried her head in his neck and rubbed against him for a while. Finally, she couldn't hold back and gently bit his neck, trying to awaken the beast sleeping inside him.
Lu Yuzhi chuckled, "Don't think about it. You're pregnant."
“That’s fine too.” Li Peiyu stared at him lecherously, her fingertips tracing his Adam’s apple.
"Can't."
"Then let's have a contest." He said, lifting his chin and kissing his Adam's apple.
Lu Yuzhi pursed his lips, his Adam's apple bobbing as he tried his best to control himself, "I don't want to argue with you, just go to sleep."
"don't want."
She slipped her hand inside his shirt.
Lu Yuzhi felt utterly hopeless. "Ugh, why do I have to suffer like this?"
Li Peiyu kissed his lips, but Lu Yuzhi did not give her any response.
Li Peiyu released her grip and glared angrily at Lu Yuzhi. "Don't you like me anymore?"
Lu Yu sighed and patiently coaxed, "I like it, that's why I'm enduring it."
Li Peiyu's face remained angry.
"I'll give you ten minutes to torment me. If I can hold back after ten minutes, I'll consider it a win. Then you can stop messing around and go to sleep."
"Okay." Li Peiyu finally smiled.
She used every trick in the book to seduce and tease him.
Lu Yuzhi leaned back in his chair, his fists clenched, letting her wreak havoc on his body, his eyes gradually becoming glazed and lifeless.
It's really suffering.
Li Peiyu finally stopped what she was doing. She tossed her hair back and said in a seductive voice, "Honey, do you want to see what I'm wearing under this bathrobe?"
Lu Yuzhi choked on his saliva and coughed a few times. Gritting his teeth, he spat out two words, "I—don't want to."
Li Peiyu ignored his answer and, with a whoosh, untied her bathrobe.
Delicate as an orchid, as fine as jade.
I want to try it lightly.
Lu Yuzhi's throat tightened. He retied her bathrobe and said in a deep voice, "Ten minutes are up."
Li Peiyu bit her lower lip, angrily punching Lu Yuzhi through gritted teeth. "Why don't you go on the pilgrimage?"
"If I were to go on the pilgrimage to the West, and you put me in the first hurdle, I would never be able to pass it."
Li Peiyu then smiled with satisfaction.
"Go to sleep."
"You're trying to comfort me."
"Okay, I'll take a shower to calm down, I'll be fine in a bit."
Li Peiyu chuckled, "Okay."
