Chapter 25: Revenge
"Ahri, why do you have a tail?"
The young scholar wanted to touch the furry fox tail.
But every time he reached out his hand, it went through the fox's tail.
Disappointment fell on his face, but soon he smiled again: "Ali, you are so beautiful."
Ali, who had not eaten for a long time, looked unhappy. She hid her tail and stared at the young scholar viciously.
She said, "Don't follow me."
The young scholar ignored this remark. After spending some time together, he had learned to filter out unpleasant words.
If you can't hurt him, it will only make him stronger.
There have been no heart-digger victims for several months, and many hunters have started heading up the mountain again.
This day.
Ali went up the mountain.
The young scholar floated behind her: "Ah Li, can you eat the bear heart? They are all hearts anyway, what about the pig heart?"
When the young scholar saw Ali stop, he looked in the direction she was looking.
I saw a hunter in the distance, crouching down, preparing to hunt a pheasant in front of him.
The young scholar quickly used his body to block Ali's view: "Ali, let's go down the mountain."
Ali raised her eyes, smiled charmingly, and licked her nails with a sweet and melodious sound.
"Lin Lang, you're right. He's too thin. We need to fatten him up before we kill him."
The pheasant was scared away and the hunter walked back regretfully.
Then he saw a wild boar panic and crash into the pillar in front of him and die.
Hunter: “!!!”
That day.
Everyone knows.
Someone went up the mountain and picked up a big wild boar.
So many people rushed up the mountain together.
I also hope that I will be the next person to pick up a wild boar.
Seeing this, Tao Ke grumbled, "We've all heard of waiting for rabbits by the tree, but this is the first time I've seen someone waiting for pigs by the tree."
Shen Wangshu just laughed.
Tao Ke couldn't understand what this sound meant.
It's kind of like irony.
Sure enough, it was not the pigs that were being guarded, but the hunters.
They thought they would hunt their prey, but in fact they had already been targeted.
Even though he hadn't experienced it personally, Tao Ke still couldn't help but feel a chill when he saw this scene.
Ahri no longer dug out the heart gently, but in the blink of an eye, she dug her hands into other people's chests.
Then he pushed the man onto the tree branch.
She squinted her eyes happily and enjoyed the warm food. Those screams of fear became her melody to accompany her meal, delicious and beautiful.
Ali ate with great relish, and her face became so rosy that it looked as if it could be blown away.
Tao Ke glanced at Shen Wangshu, only to see Shen Wangshu swallow.
Shen Wangshu noticed Tao Ke's frightened gaze, she touched her stomach and said frankly: "I'm hungry."
Tao Ke: "!!!"
After eating and drinking his fill, Ali wiped the blood off his body, then sat on a rock waiting for the young scholar.
Not long after, the young scholar came over with an excited look on his face.
"Ali, Ali, I've found the wild boars' lair. We can drive them away now."
Ahri smiled brightly: "Okay!"
The young scholar was led away to find a wild boar, and Ali killed someone.
He killed more than ten people.
Finally, someone came who Chen Wangshuyi had never expected.
Shen Wangshu looked at the face that looked about 70% similar to Shen Yuchen.
But Shen Yuchen is bald.
The person in front of me is obviously a middle-aged Taoist priest.
Ahri was eating when she was caught off guard and was beaten into her true form by the Taoist priest.
She grimaced, her whole body on the defensive.
The Taoist priest also has some skills.
He didn't make any hand gestures or put any talismans on the wall, he just tapped the wood in his hand lightly, and Ahri let out a scream.
The young scholar went to look for the wild boar, and when he came back he saw Ali rolling on the ground, his limbs soft as if they were all broken.
Beside Ahri there were several corpses with their hearts dug out.
The Taoist looked at Ahri with disgust. "You were granted the ability to transform into a human form, but you murdered innocent people and entangled with wronged spirits. Today, your death has come."
Ahri hid from the Taoist's wooden stick, his sharp teeth stained with blood. "I was blessed with a human form? Taoist priest, do you know that I was grateful to that person and served him day and night, but he peeled my skin, dug out my heart, and even offered my fetus as a tribute for promotion."
"I killed innocent people. Do you dare to say that they have never done anything bad?"
"Back then, my tribe was captured or killed, leaving only me, the fox, alive. I simply avenge my grievances and seek revenge."
The Taoist priest shouted, "You have confused right and wrong. You deserve to die."
Ahri was hit again and vomited blood, and her fur all over her body was stained red with blood.
Just as the Taoist priest was about to give Ahri a fatal blow.
There was a heavy blow on the back of the head, and warm blood flowed down the Taoist's forehead.
The Taoist priest looked back and saw that the hunter with his heart dug out was possessed by the young scholar.
He was holding a sharp stone in his hand, which was stained with blood.
The Taoist priest was very disappointed: "You have a bright future. Even if you were reincarnated, you would be able to become a literary star. Why did you end up hanging out with a female demon?"
"Get away from this hunter immediately, or you will lose your mind. Let me deal with this banshee, and then I will deal with you."
The Taoist priest turned his head and made hand gestures, looking like he was about to use a big move.
The young scholar hugged the Taoist priest from behind and said, "I won't let you hurt Ali."
As he said this, he fell backwards.
Ahri watched him fall off the cliff with a smile on his face, and couldn't help but scream, "Lin Lang."
"Ah Li, don't eat my heart anymore. If there is an afterlife, come find me and I will give it to you."
The young scholar's voice faded away with the wind.
Ali crawled on all fours to the edge of the cliff. There was blood everywhere she crawled. She lowered her head and looked towards the cliff.
There is only endless wind.
A few drops of water dripped from the corners of her eyes.
Shen Wangshu and Tao Ke came to the edge of the cliff together, and the bottom of the cliff was unfathomable.
Tao Ke asked, "Will that Taoist priest die?"
Shen Wangshu shook his head: “No.”
Tao Ke asked again: "Could he ride on the clouds? And fly up?"
Shen Wangshu shook his head again: “How is that possible.”
Tao Ke was puzzled: "Then why do you say he won't die?"
Shen Wangshu sighed softly: “Think for yourself.”
