Chapter 56 The transmigrator revealed false inner thoughts and slandered me, so I...

The moonlight shone on the two of them, casting a long shadow on the ground.

As the shadow moved slowly with time, Si Qi gently withdrew his hand from Chu Feng's nape. His gaze inadvertently met his lover's eyes, which were straining to open and try to make out his features. Only then did he suddenly feel embarrassed and said softly, "It's windy outside. I'll take you back to your room."

Chu Feng obediently leaned against Si Qi, letting him teleport away. Only when Si Qi placed him on the bed and was about to leave did Chu Feng grab Si Qi's hand from behind and whisper, "Kiss me."

Si Qi coughed softly, "Yes."

Chu Feng emphasized, "That was my first kiss."

Si Qi: "I know."

So what if it was your first kiss? He's taken your first kiss hundreds or thousands of times already.

Chu Feng looked intently at Si Qi, his eyes blurry with drunkenness, and said, word by word, "You have to take responsibility for me!"

Si Qi couldn't help but laugh, stroking Chu Feng's forehead with his palm as if to soothe a large, adorable beast: "I know, I definitely won't run away."

Chu Feng was finally satisfied, as if he had completed some important task. He released the strength he had been holding on to, lay down on the bed, and fell asleep within two seconds.

Si Qi stood there for a long time, watching Chu Feng sleep, then suddenly smiled, shook his head, and turned back to his room.

Meanwhile, in an office building in Anshi.

In the stillness of the night, the city under the moonlight is harmonious and peaceful.

This is a scene that people are used to seeing, the same old thing, nothing strange about it.

But some people find this ordinary scene incredibly unbelievable.

"Why hasn't it descended into chaos yet...?"

Standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, Qi Ji looked down at the bustling street scene below, its lights gleaming, his brows furrowed deeply.

After transmigrating, in order to seize every opportunity, she wrote down everything she could remember on paper before her memories faded, and then etched it into her mind.

She knew better than anyone that during this period, war raged across China. Serial bombings in public places, the wolf attack at the zoo, the massacre of thousands of bones in an anthill in Yangshan City… each incident caused widespread panic, and related videos circulated widely, becoming common knowledge.

Coupled with the bomber's rampant propaganda, constantly emphasizing their power with horrifyingly large numbers of casualties, people's first encounter with superhumans was such a bloody and terrifying situation, making it hard not to feel fear towards various abnormal beings.

Powerless ordinary people can only place their hopes on the country behind them. As a result, after the spiritual energy was restored, the country had to deal with the troubles caused by plants and animals all over the country, and also had to investigate the murderers who kept emerging from the superhumans under the urging of public opinion.

Regardless, the general public believes that a country can effectively respond to crises, a confidence instilled by past experience.

However, in Qi Ji's original world, certain plots were not suitable to be depicted in the book. The content related to the country was basically glossed over, only briefly emphasizing the chaos of the society at that time from the perspective of a narrator in the early stages, and then not mentioned at all in the later stages.

Whenever major powers are involved, the book refers to them entirely as various organizations or research institutions specializing in superpowered individuals, never mentioning the official authorities. Ordinary people protected by the government are merely numbers, supporting characters, cannon fodder used to highlight the power of certain superpowered individuals.

One can imagine that even though the military and police in the book did their best and paid a huge price in casualties during that period, they were still helpless against the existence of superpowers, allowing the murderers to get away with their crimes time and time again.

The disparity between bearing immense responsibility and being powerless to act left the people who had high hopes deeply disappointed. They grew increasingly fearful of the ever-emerging superhumans, and this fear emboldened the perpetrators, making them even more reckless.

The stable order collapsed rapidly with one event after another. Workers dared not go to work, students were asked by their parents to stay at home and not go out, all the shops on the street were closed, the streets were deserted, and the world seemed to have come to an end overnight.

Having read the entire text and with the original author's endorsement, Qi Ji naturally didn't take the official institutions in this novel world seriously. She assumed that things would develop as she envisioned, and her mind was filled with thoughts of what the superhumans and their tools would be like. She firmly believed that it wouldn't be long before the world would become a stage for the superhumans, and that ordinary people who only knew how to use firearms, even if well-trained, would be nothing more than larger ants.

But now, the situation has completely exceeded her expectations.

The order that should have been chaotic remained intact. The bomber, who should have become famous overnight online, is still silent. The hundreds of thousands of citizens of Yangshan City, who should have been devoured by ants until only bones remained, are still living well. The people are living their lives as usual, peaceful and happy. But she felt as if she had fallen into an ice cellar because of this.

She longed to confide in someone and find an answer through discussion, but she would never tell anyone that this unreliable "golden finger" was true. She could only keep it to herself and pretend to the outside world that "that's just how things are."

Lin Dong and the others therefore thought the current situation was perfectly normal, their minds filled with excitement and joy at becoming superhumans, being surrounded by superhumans, and soon becoming the elite of the new world.

No one knew how agitated she was at that moment.

After much thought, she finally pinpointed the culprit behind all these changes to the transfer student, Chu Feng.

There is no character named Chu Feng in the original work. Although Qi Ji can't remember the names of all the characters who appear, she remembers several people with special abilities.

The sudden appearance of Chu Feng by Si Qi changed the original plot where Si Qi was supposed to be slandered by the rich second-generation. He even forcibly took Si Qi away, leaving him in another city under the guise of a tutoring class, thus distancing him from the outside factors at the center of the story. It all seems suspicious.

Perhaps Chu Feng is also a transmigrator.

So, just like himself, he approached the protagonist with a clear purpose, became friends with the protagonist, and then selfishly bound the protagonist to his side, preventing any outsiders from contacting him.

He might even have revealed content from the original work to the countries within the fictional world.

So the bomber who was supposed to appear disappeared, the anthill on Yangshan Mountain vanished, and the man-eating supernatural creature in the zoo also disappeared...

One time can be considered a coincidence, but so many times, it can't all be coincidences.

Chu Feng definitely leaked the plot to the official team!

Qi Ji gritted his teeth in hatred.

No wonder that every time she took Lin Dong and the others, along with her newly recruited underlings, to try and snatch the cheat codes, they were intercepted by a strange force that suddenly appeared – these strangers must have been sent by Chu Feng, right?

Although she tried to shift the blame for her failed attempt to seize the cheat system onto Si Qi, claiming that if Si Qi, the only absent character, hadn't altered the original plot, they would have gotten the cheat. However, if things continued this way, her situation would inevitably be affected, and her strength would remain stagnant.

In an era of rising heroes, what use is a mere ability to transmit thoughts? It has no combat power whatsoever, only the power to deceive. She must replicate Si Qi's upgrade path from the original work to strengthen herself.

But Chu Feng targeted her time and time again, causing her trouble and making her suffer.

She hated Chu Feng to death.

But right now, apart from a phone number, she has no way to contact Si Qi. Si Qi seems to be blind and deaf, and doesn't respond to her attempts to be friendly at all.

She could only pin her hopes on the "three friends" from the original story who constantly dragged the protagonist down and caused trouble, but were not very capable yet quite skilled at stirring up trouble. She hoped that these three people would approach Si Qi, call Si Qi over, and use Si Qi's power to obtain the opportunities from the original story.

Otherwise, why would she appoint three ordinary people as leaders of the superhuman organization that she painstakingly built using her prophetic abilities?

However, they were just friends of Si Qi in the past.

"You haven't rested yet?"

As soon as you speak of the devil, he appears. Qi Ji was pondering the situation of Lin Dong and the others when they passed by the hall and saw her standing by the window.

"Hmm, thinking about the next plan," Qi Ji's previously irritable and annoyed expression softened into his usual gentleness as he turned around, and he smiled, "What about you guys? Still awake?"

"It's Zhou Bin and his gang again..." Lin Yuan muttered discontentedly, "They're just taking advantage of being superhumans to cause trouble in their old age."

Although she is also a superhuman and the protagonist of this novel world, according to Qi Ji, she will have to endure a long period of weak and caged behavior in the early stages of this heart-wrenching romance novel before she can meet the super-powerful male lead later on and use her ability to hear thoughts to gradually reach the pinnacle of life.

This ability is not something that should be known to others, otherwise many people will feel that her privacy has been invaded and will want to kill her.

She could only pretend to be an ordinary person, and together with Lin Dong and Lin An, those two good-for-nothings, she used Qi Ji's connections to get herself a position in the organization.

Lin Yuan felt like she was a pearl covered in dust, being looked down upon by petty people despite being at the center of the world. Lin Dong and Lin An, who thought they were the protagonists of this novel and needed to hide their power and play the fool, also felt that they were enduring humiliation and being provoked by cannon fodder characters in the early stages of the story. They were very unhappy with Zhou Bin and other superhumans.

The relationship between the two sides had always been bad, and conflicts had never ceased, but even so, no one took their anger out on Qi Ji.

Zhou Bin and the others were convinced of Qi Ji's prophetic abilities because he was knowledgeable and had a knack for making perfect plans.

Lin Dong and the others, on the other hand, felt that Qi Ji was wholeheartedly devoted to them. Even if he became the leader of the organization, it was only to protect him/her who was temporarily pretending to be an ordinary person. They regarded Qi Ji as their representative and were at ease hiding behind the scenes as the true leader of the organization, so they cooperated very well with Qi Ji's arrangements.

No one realized that they were being used by Qi Ji.

Even the conflicts with their rivals, and the balancing act to prevent any single organization from becoming too powerful, were considered to be spontaneous occurrences stemming from their dislike of their opponents, and had nothing to do with Qi Ji, who was constantly sowing discord behind the scenes.

Qi Ji sighed, "We're all from the same organization, there's no need to make things so tense."

Lin Dong didn't hide his disgust and said perfunctorily, "I know. If he weren't so deserving of a beating, I wouldn't bother with him."

His tone was so matter-of-fact that Lin Yuan couldn't help but glance at him mockingly. She didn't know where this cripple got the confidence to look down on superhumans. He spoke as if he could deal with Zhou Bin at will if he wanted to. He was too arrogant.

As for her, she really disliked Zhou Bin. Once she no longer needed Qi Ji as a shield and completely revealed her identity as the leader, she would make sure Zhou Bin died a horrible death.

Unlike Lin Dong and Lin Yuan, Lin An was the most good at pretending. Even though she had already imagined a million ways to kill Zhou Bin, she still readily cooperated with Qi Ji's peacemaking advice and skillfully changed the subject: "You just said that you were thinking about your next plan?"

“Yes,” Qi Ji said, “this can’t go on, we have to think of a way.”

[Without Si Qi's appearance, Lin Lin's opportunities will continue to be affected; we need to find a way to bring Si Qi back.]

Upon hearing Qi Ji's thoughts, Lin Dong and the other two's expressions changed slightly.

It was indeed Si Qi's absence that caused the butterfly effect, making him/her miss out on so many benefits.

Unfortunately, the plundering ability was indeed more powerful than many other abilities, including telepathy, in the early stages. For now, the only way to deal with the enemy is through Si Qi.

“You’re right, we need to think of a way,” Lin An said.

He pondered how to coax Si Qi over, but unfortunately, Si Qi, that bookworm, still only thought about changing his life through studying even after mastering superpowers. He was truly foolish!

"Isn't Si Qi a superhuman? Let's call him over to work with us."

Lin Yuan's suggestion happened to coincide with his own thoughts. Lin An's eyes flashed, which saved him the possibility of mentioning Si Qi for no reason and arousing Qi Ji's suspicion.

Qi Ji didn't think much of it and nodded, saying, "Yes, in this world, improving one's strength is the most important thing."

[It's a pity I haven't been able to contact Si Qi. I wish Lin Lin could call Si Qi back. Then I'll keep a close eye on him and make sure he doesn't have the chance to harm the protagonist in the future, just like in the original story.]

In the script fabricated by Qi Ji, Lin Yuan and Lin Dong are the main characters, while Si Qi is a villain who initially helps his friends gain a cheat ability, but later looks down on his weak friends who are always dragging him down, and betrays them for his own benefit.

Because Qi Ji repeatedly reminded Lin Dong and the others, who were always petty, that Si Qi would eventually hurt them, even though Si Qi hadn't done anything to them so far, or even had any further contact with them, they firmly believed that Si Qi owed them and should repay him double.

In the original timeline, this group of people, under Qi Ji's manipulation, brazenly used Si Qi as a tool, with Si Qi stepping in when danger arose and grabbing all the benefits themselves.

Si Qi had contributed the most blood and sweat, yet all the credit and benefits went to those who hadn't contributed anything. Once they had grown powerful enough to become superhumans themselves, they exploited Si Qi to the fullest extent of his value, then joined forces to kill him, extracting superhuman items from his body. Using the plundering properties of these items, they quickly became powerful figures in the chaotic new era.

That was their current plan, and barring any unforeseen circumstances, it should have progressed very smoothly. However, Si Qi wasn't the original owner of this body, and he had no intention of wasting time scheming against them. He simply tossed the original novel onto his boss's desk and became a hands-off manager.

Lin Dong and the others, unaware of Si Qi's actions, still regarded him as the naive and easily fooled boy they remembered. They discussed how to bring Si Qi over and what arrangements to make for him once he arrived.

"Tell him that the spiritual energy restoration has begun, and that he should stop wasting his time studying, since his academic qualifications will be useless in the future."

"We also need to let him know that the authorities are arresting superhumans, so he should stay away from people. Otherwise, given his personality, he might turn around and report us for illegally gathering a crowd."

Qi Ji's mood was not very good whenever the official matter was mentioned.

In the original work, the government showed great sincerity towards the superhumans, attempting to recruit capable individuals from the general public to jointly cope with the sudden upheaval. However, under the interference and threats of the superhuman organizations, the superhumans in the general public feared retaliation from these organizations and were very evasive, not actively seeking to be recruited.

However, the situation has changed because of the appearance of Chu Feng, this "time traveler". Many future famous superhuman organizations have disappeared without a trace. The attitude of ordinary superhumans naturally leans towards accepting the protection of the state, which is the most common situation in their past lives.

Qi Ji feared that the official power would grow too strong and affect her future rule, so she smeared the official power in front of her subordinates in advance, saying some ambiguous things to make everyone subconsciously regard the official power as the enemy, thinking that they would be arrested as soon as they showed their faces—otherwise, with so many superhumans, why is there no news about them on the Internet? They are either imprisoned or sent for research.

"Ha, it's not uncommon for him to report us. That guy never considered us his own people." Lin Yuan rolled her eyes. "He's just a traitor."

"Why worry about all that? As long as he's willing to come and cooperate, he's at least a source of labor," Lin An said indifferently.

They expressed their opinions about Si Qi with complaints, which was quite surprising, as the other two people shared their views so much.

However, it was common for their group to look down on Si Qi, so making up stories about him didn't arouse suspicion. They simply said, "He said that at the cram school he's in, he only gets to use his phone at the end of the month. Normally, it's a closed-off teaching environment, so he can't contact the outside world. Now that the end of the month is approaching, we'll exaggerate the situation, saying that people all over the country are hunting down superhumans. We'll scare him, and he'll definitely come."

"You could also say that we are in an emergency and really need his help. He's a very vain person and loves to hear that kind of thing."

"Yes, or you could say the dean is critically ill. That guy is good at pretending to be kind and acting like he's very filial."

"No matter what, we must not let what happened at the amusement park last time happen again. We must bring Si Qi here, even if we have to tie him up."

The group got more and more excited as they talked, and soon they came up with a whole set of talking points, which Qi Ji watched from the side with great satisfaction.

She deliberately kept these three people around to keep Si Qi under control, and now things are developing exactly as she wanted, which has saved her a lot of effort.

Once Si Qi arrives, she only needs to give Lin Dong and the other two a few instructions in her mind, and the three of them will follow her instructions exactly, keeping Si Qi under their thumb.

Once Si Qi has collected enough cheat codes according to the original plot, and her strength is sufficient to protect herself in this world, she will kill Si Qi to prevent her from being implicated and dying a few years later if Si Qi hangs himself as in the original ending.

Originally, she didn't plan to let Si Qi awaken his superpowers. After all, Si Qi was the protagonist, protected by the protagonist's halo, and might not be so easy to control.

But Si Qi still awakened, and the power he awakened was exactly the same as in the original story. So, she had no choice but to let Si Qi die, or else she would really die with him?

This was also for her own protection, a great act to protect hundreds of millions of people around the world. People should thank her for her efforts, tirelessly saving the world ever since she transmigrated.

If Si Qi were truly as kind as described in the original novel, he should have exposed his neck and cooperated with her to be killed, instead of living a wretched life and implicating everyone.

As for the extraordinary artifacts within him, they were a well-deserved reward for her hard work. After all, even in death, Si Qi could make a final contribution to the world with her help, and he should feel honored.

Sometimes, when the same lie is told too often, even Qi Ji himself comes to believe in his own actions and thinks that his behavior is absolutely correct.

Unfortunately, reality didn't always go as she envisioned. Her organization didn't develop as smoothly as she had imagined, encountering considerable resistance from all sides.

Lin Dong and the others thought that the organization with dozens of superhumans in front of them was already remarkable, but she knew in her heart that with the guidance of the original work, she could have gathered hundreds of superhumans to serve her.

However, none of those extraordinary individuals can be found now. They were either recruited in advance by Chu Feng, who was one step ahead, or they were taken away quietly by the authorities.

Qi Ji was filled with shame, anger, and resentment. Unable to confront such a behemoth as the government, she was preoccupied with figuring out how to defeat Chu Feng and bring the characters under his control to her own side.

Little did she know that even the dozens of people under her command were actually left to her by the authorities to appease this extraordinary individual whose true nature was unknown.

The reason why her every action ended in failure was not because she lacked a capable protagonist like Si Qi by her side, but because every enemy she encountered was backed by the official authorities who knew the original plot.

Not only did they know the plot details more thoroughly than she vaguely remembered, but they also had more manpower, equipment, and strength in all aspects than she did.

It's normal for her to lose.

The reason she didn't lose completely was because the authorities realized she didn't have precognitive abilities, but she knew the original plot. They guessed she might also have a book of secrets and wanted to find its location, so they didn't dare to alert her, fearing the book might end up in the wrong place.

Just as Qi Ji was oblivious to his good fortune and preoccupied with plotting against Chu Feng, Si Qi, who had just come out of Chu Feng's room, was also preoccupied with some matters.

The world he inhabits is real and cannot be fully described in a novel of several million words. The five years that the original owner experienced are only the tip of the iceberg described in the book.

Many things were not written in the original work, such as the car accident that happened near the school on the day he and Chu Feng first met.

But just because it's not written down doesn't mean it won't happen.

The official team has done their best to follow the original story, but Si Qi cannot pretend that he knows nothing and will only do what the official team tells him to do.

While he was cooperating with the authorities to stabilize the domestic situation, more and more extraordinary individuals were emerging in many parts of the world. Unlike the Chinese people living in peacetime, who kept a low profile, they quickly used their powers after gaining them, wantonly killing, cursing, and creating more and more dangerous places.

If in the future, some extraordinary individuals establish a nation dedicated to them, using the nation's resources to support a small number of extraordinary individuals, these extraordinary individuals will inevitably become a threat to China, and even the entire world.

The number of deaths caused during this period was countless.

Si Qi has to deal with these issues, but these issues don't fit the original owner's personality and could easily cause unnecessary worry within the organization that knows the "protagonist" very well.

So Si Qi thought for a moment and decided to use his omniscient and omnipotent ability to create a second identity, an external avatar, to deal with these matters.

He acted on his thoughts immediately. After leaving the base, his avatars were created and quickly appeared in various turbulent corners of the world.

He did not deliberately hide his existence. Whenever he defeated a superhuman organization in a certain place, he would leave a special "X" mark to indicate his presence.

Only when he demonstrates sufficient power will those superhumans who indiscriminately slaughter ordinary people feel fear and know how to weigh the pros and cons before taking action.

His actions were very conspicuous. On his very first night, he crossed three countries and killed hundreds of superhumans who were massacring civilians. His strength was simply terrifying.

With the rapid development of the modern internet, news spreads extremely quickly, and it soon sparked heated discussions on various platforms.

China naturally took notice as well.

Following the common people's way of addressing Si Qi, they called him "Mysterious Man X".

The vast majority of people approve of X because he killed notorious superhumans, thus eliminating evil for the people and indirectly saving countless innocent people who were threatened, kidnapped, and persecuted.

However, some people are particularly harsh on him, believing that he is no different from those superhumans who enjoy killing and show no mercy when he takes action—that is, a full hundred lives!

Needless to say, those superhumans with guilty consciences are even more prone to hurling insults at X, accusing him of being a traitor among superhumans and willing to be a lackey of ordinary people.

The Chinese government held a separate meeting specifically for X to discuss whether this powerful superhuman posed a threat to China.

At the same time, they also discussed in private why such a powerful figure as X was never mentioned in the Heavenly Book.

“X should be biased towards protecting ordinary people.” An intelligence officer analyzed: “I collected information from witnesses near the raided crime dens. They said that when X killed criminals, he could tell whether the criminals had blood on their hands and whether they truly deserved their fate. Some superhumans who were forced to join the organization but had been secretly helping ordinary people were not accidentally injured by X, even though they were standing next to the criminals at the time of the incident.”

"Furthermore, after destroying the hideout, X also actively protected the injured civilians nearby, used his superpowers to treat them, and delivered sufficient relief supplies."

“Wait a minute,” one of the meeting participants asked, “is X a healing-type superhuman?”

"Yes and no." The intelligence officer pushed up his glasses and repeated the information on the computer: "Based on the information provided by the witnesses, the records of nearby surveillance cameras, and the wounds on the deceased, X has currently demonstrated as many as 28 different abilities. He is a very rare superhuman who has mastered multiple types of abilities."

"But this is just too outrageous..." someone couldn't help but mutter.

Although multiple superpowers are rare, there are bound to be one or two people out of tens of thousands of superhumans who have mastered two completely different superpowers.

For example, superpowers with similar attributes such as "water and ice" and "wind and gravity".

How can healing and combat types be combined? Especially with twenty-eight different types.

Some people drew a connection to Si Qi and speculated, "Could it also be a special ability attribute like 'plunder'?"

"Possibly."

Rather than having one person possess more than twenty different superpowers, people tend to prefer single-element special attribute superpowers.

After all, research shows that the type of familiar superpowers an extraordinary individual awakens depends on their mindset at the time of awakening.

A person who nearly drowns might want to control water; someone who intends to subdue wild beasts might master beast taming techniques; someone who longs to fly might instinctively learn about gravity...

More than twenty different superpowers—how could this extraordinary individual have such a split personality to have their thoughts so chaotic the moment they awaken their powers?

They tended to think that the other person was a special type of superhuman like Si Qi, and they didn't fantasize that Si Qi was X.

Not to mention that Si Qi is well protected by them every day, with a bunch of people following him wherever he goes. Just considering Si Qi's personality, he has never even killed a chicken before, so how could he possibly resort to violence to retaliate?

Even just associating Si Qi with slaughter made everyone present instinctively feel uncomfortable.

They couldn't bear to let Si Qi come into contact with such bloody and cruel things.

Many ordinary people abroad are tortured to the point of wishing they were dead by superhumans, and they don't even have a complete human form anymore. Si Qi is so kind, how could he bear to see this, yet he didn't show it to anyone else.

Without tacit agreement, no one suggested using Si Qi to deal with X; they simply said, "We can try to contact X."

"Where is X from? Do you have any information about him?" an official asked.

"There are no concrete records. They concealed their appearance and figure and acted very cautiously." The intelligence personnel projected relevant videos onto the screen, including surveillance videos that have been widely circulated on the internet, as well as private footage taken by passersby with their mobile phones.

No matter the location or angle, X never revealed any clues related to himself. No one knew his gender, age, or race; the only thing they could refer to was his extraordinary fighting instincts, as if he were a born killing machine.

"We are more inclined to believe that he came from a war-torn region. His skillful combat techniques and the naturalness with which he kills are something that even seasoned mercenaries would find difficult to achieve."

Some details can reveal a lot. A soldier from a system will show traces of his training when he fights. People from different regions will have different strengths and preferences. The types of cold and hot weapons they usually use can also reveal a lot of information.

But X... has too many skills, or rather, his combat prowess has reached the point where every cell in his body is designed for battle. Leaving aside the use of both cold and hot weapons, just considering how shortly the spiritual energy restoration has begun, X has already mastered more than twenty different abilities, using each one as naturally and smoothly as breathing.

Not to mention their skillful and experienced approach to dealing with the victims. People who are not particularly good at this kind of work simply cannot think of many of the details, such as wound bandaging, stress management, and post-disaster personnel arrangements.

People in peacetime and non-war-stricken countries would find it difficult to be this thorough.

They are at least unlikely to be Chinese.

After discussing it for a long time, they first ruled out the correct option.

Meanwhile, the official superhumans on the organization's side also learned of X's existence through various channels.

They hadn't read the Heavenly Book and didn't know that X was an anomalous factor that appeared out of nowhere. They only thought that this was a powerful superhuman who had recently emerged from abroad. Seeing everyone praising him as the most powerful superhuman in the world, they couldn't help but compare him to Si Qi.

"They are no match for our Xiao Qi!" Many people said with certainty: "Judging from their situation, they are most likely a superhuman from the common people. Without sufficient logistical support and systematic training, even if they have a large number of superpowers, they can't compare to Xiao Qi, who was trained by the entire nation."

"Yes, he only has about twenty kinds of superpowers, but Xiao Qi has hundreds."

They admired Si Qi's abilities and were even more proud that Si Qi was their comrade-in-arms. They couldn't stand anyone easily surpassing Si Qi or saying that Si Qi was inferior to others.

“Once Xiao Qi officially appears in front of the public, these people will stop saying such things.”

"I don't believe that guy's superpowers are strong enough to prevent Xiao Qi from taking it away. It's just a matter of Xiao Qi raising his hand to touch it."

"That's right, that's right."

Everyone was talking so earnestly that Si Qi, whose hearing was excellent and could be heard clearly even across the corridor, couldn't help but touch his nose.

Using the ability to plunder to fight against an omniscient and omnipotent being who also possesses the ability to plunder—what a tragic scene of infighting!

He never intended to contact X under the identity of Si Qi, and the authorities probably wouldn't provoke such an existence unnecessarily. Therefore, X and Si Qi are destined never to meet, and it's even less likely that his identity will be exposed.

Let X remain a mysterious figure for the rest of his life. Si Qi left the place nonchalantly and went to the training hall to train.

Inside the training hall, Chu Feng was holding his phone, looking quite hesitant.

The phone screen was playing a combat video of the mysterious man X. The man in the video was completely covered up, not even his eyes, which would reveal his eye color, were visible. His actions were incredibly brutal, and the amount of blood sprayed was comparable to a scene from a horror movie.

Yet, even with such a cold and ruthless person, Chu Feng paused the moment his gaze fell upon their figure, his pupils contracting in horror.

He didn't know what caused that fleeting throbbing, only feeling his heart pounding rapidly with a mixture of confusion and fear, and the intense emotions churning within him, his expression growing increasingly horrified.

Why would he fall for this guy?!

Is he a fickle, scumbag?!
