Chapter 64

The kitchen was quiet in the early morning, with only the sizzling sound of frying oil.

Chi Rui tilted her head to look at the man, suddenly smiled gently, stretched out her little hands and hugged him.

Ye Minghan was tossing the fried eggs in the pan, trying not to let the temperature be too high and ruin the eggs. This was his first time cooking, and not only Chi Rui, but even he himself found it novel.

Just then, he felt a pair of small hands wrapped around his waist, and the girl's soft and delicate body pressed against his back.

His heart moved, and the girl's little face was already buried in the butterfly bone on his back, rubbing it gently like a kitten.

Through the thick clothes, he seemed to be able to feel her warm breath and soft face.

Ye Minghan pursed his lips, and the picture that appeared in his mind made two blushes appear on his ears.

"What's wrong?"

Licking his thin lips with the tip of his tongue, he flipped the fried eggs in the pan, but his attention had obviously been diverted.

"No, I just want to hug you and see if I'm dreaming." The girl's soft voice sounded, with a bit of sweet warmth in the winter morning.

Ye Minghan was amused by her words.

He raised his eyebrows, "Are you sure now?"

"Yes, it's confirmed." Chi Rui said with a grin, "Brother Han is standing in front of me, making breakfast for me."

And, we really fell in love...

Listening to her soft tone, Ye Minghan felt itchy in his heart and wanted to hold her in his arms and kiss her hard.

However, remembering that he had promised Liu Manzhi yesterday to be careful, he restrained himself. He nodded and said "hmm" in a calm manner.

"Brother Han." At this time, the girl called him again.

Ye Minghan lowered his eyes to look at her, only to see her poking her head out from behind him, looking at him with a pair of sparkling little deer eyes, looking well-behaved and cute.

"I like you so much." she said softly.

Ye Minghan pursed his lips, but he couldn't control the curve of his lips. Finally, he couldn't help it, bent down slightly, and pecked the girl's soft hair quickly.

Then he looked at her again and said calmly, "I know."

Seeing him turn around after he finished speaking and continue to focus on breakfast, Chi Rui covered the place where he was kissed and said unwillingly: "No, no."

"What's wrong?" Ye Minghan raised his eyebrows.

Chi Rui hugged him tightly, resting her forehead against him, and acted coquettishly and shyly: "You should say that you like me too."

"You like me too?" he followed her words.

"Brother Han!" Chi Rui grumbled dissatisfiedly.

But no matter how the girl coaxed and persuaded, Ye Minghan did not give in, but he could not hide the smile on his face no matter what.

Liu Manzhi came out of the master bedroom and when she passed the kitchen, she heard faint laughter coming from inside and she couldn't help but pause.

She stopped at the door, folded her arms and looked inside.

The two children who were interacting intimately in the kitchen did not notice her.

Looking at her daughter's happy expression, her eyes flickered slightly. In the end, she did not go in to disturb her, but turned and walked away.

By the time she changed her clothes, packed her things and came out of the room, Chi Rui and Ye Minghan had already put breakfast on the table.

Chi Rui was pestering Ye Minghan, wanting him to say that he also liked her, but when she saw Liu Manzhi coming out, she quickly restrained herself.

"Mom, wake up."

She didn't dare to look at Ye Minghan again. She sat on the chair obediently and curled her eyes at Liu Manzhi, "Come and have breakfast."

Liu Manzhi glanced at her and then looked at Ye Minghan.

Ye Minghan was sitting opposite Chi Rui. When he saw her looking at him, he nodded at her and said, "Aunt Liu, good morning."

That serious look was completely different from the gentle smile he had just shown when facing Chi Rui.

Liu Manzhi sighed in her heart but didn't show it on her face.

She shook her head and said, "You guys eat. I have things to do at the company. Just grab a sandwich on the way."

"Oh, okay."

Chi Rui quickly got up and walked her mother to the door.

"Although it's vacation, you can't relax too much." Liu Manzhi stood outside the door, turned her head to look at her daughter, with some worry in her eyes.

"Yeah, I know, Mom." Chi Rui nodded obediently.

"Mom has always believed in you, just know your limits." She said softly, which startled Chi Rui.

But when she wanted to see her expression clearly, Liu Manzhi had already bent down to put on her shoes and waved to her.

"I'm leaving."

"Okay, Mom, be safe on the road."

After watching Liu Manzhi enter the elevator, Chi Rui closed the door and walked back into the house.

She tilted her head, feeling a little weird.

Did her mother guess something? Or was she just busy talking to Brother Han and accidentally saw it?

Chi Rui blushed a little. She walked into the dining room with a distracted look on her face, and then fell into Ye Minghan's arms.

She couldn't help but look up and look at Ye Minghan who was standing at the door.

"Brother Han, why are you standing here?"

Ye Minghan reached out and rubbed her head, "What are you thinking about?"

"No." Chi Rui shook his head, "Let's eat quickly, I'm so hungry."

She hugged his arm and pulled him towards the dining table.

"This is the first time Brother Han is cooking for me. I'm so looking forward to it."

Hearing the little girl's cheerful voice, Ye Minghan paused and couldn't help feeling a little nervous.

He sat opposite her, observing her expression calmly.

Chi Rui drank a mouthful of porridge first, then picked up the chopsticks and picked up a poached egg.

The fried egg was fried until golden brown, and except for the edges being a little burnt, it looked pretty good.

She dipped it in soy sauce and took a small bite.

Ye Minghan looked at her and could see obvious nervousness.

He asked, “How is it?”

Chi Rui chewed and swallowed the fried egg, then licked her pink lips and smiled at him: "Delicious."

Ye Minghan felt relieved, and the corners of his lips twitched slightly.

"Yeah." He nodded calmly, but his raised eyebrows had already exposed his mood.

Chi Rui looked at him and saw that he also picked up one. After taking a bite, the excited look on his face disappeared without a trace.

She couldn't help but pursed her lips, wanting to laugh but not daring to, so she just buried her head in drinking the porridge.

Ye Minghan's face looked a little bad.

It's not that it's completely inedible, but it's not delicious at all. The fire was a little too high and it was a little overcooked. If it was made by a chef at home, he would probably get angry.

Looking up at the girl opposite him, his brows were deeply furrowed.

"Little liar." He said in a low voice, with a hint of resentment in his voice.

Chi Rui finally couldn't help grinning. She looked back at him, her eyes sparkling and full of smiles.

"I think it's delicious. It's the first time I made it like this, so it's pretty good."

She said softly, "I still remember the first time I cooked, I burned the pot and scalded my hands, which scared the nanny."

Ye Minghan paused and frowned even deeper.

He reached across the dining table and took her hand with concern, "Where is it burned?"

"It happened a long time ago. There's no scar left, so you can't see it." Chi Rui blushed and retracted her hand.

"When did that happen?" Ye Minghan had a serious face, and his fierce look made Chi Rui shrink his neck.

"When I was in elementary school..." she answered weakly.

Ye Minghan felt distressed again.

She is so young, and she has to cook for herself?

Chi Rui secretly glanced at him, probably guessing what he was thinking, and couldn't help but curl his lips and explain: "It's just a hobby. You know I really like doing these handicrafts."

Of course, she also doesn't want to rely too much on others, so she has to learn to do these things by herself.

Ye Minghan's expression eased a little, but his brows were not completely relaxed.

"Really? And I've done it very well now." Chi Rui said with a smile, "You also tried it last night. Wasn't it delicious?"

Ye Minghan nodded slightly and reached out to rub the top of her head.

"I'll be there for you from now on." He said softly.

Chi Rui was stunned. She watched him take his hand back, and her dark eyes seemed to be filled with stars.

She found that her heart was filled with a warm emotion. The feeling of being carefully cared for and cherished was something she had never experienced before.

She curled the corners of her lips again, revealing two sweet dimples.

"Yeah, okay." She nodded with a smile.

Ye Minghan smiled at her, then said, "If it doesn't taste good, don't force it."

Anyway, there is still future, he will do better.

"No," Chi Rui said, "I really think it tastes good."

Then she proved it to him with her actions.

She ate in small bites, like a little hamster, soft and cute.

Ye Minghan felt a little helpless, but seeing how supportive she was, he was actually happy in his heart.

The two of them ate breakfast together and discussed what to do today.

"Do you want to do your homework?" Ye Minghan asked.

Chi Rui shook her head. "Don't worry about the homework. I want to clean the house today when I have some free time."

"Spring cleaning?"

"Well, it's the end of the year, and a lot of things at home are covered in dust. I have to take out the quilt and air it out while the weather is good..."

Listening to her chattering about today's cleaning plan, Ye Minghan felt a little fresh.

He seemed to have never participated in the year-end cleaning before, and he didn't even have much impression of it. After all, it was the responsibility of the housekeeper and the servants.

"Yes, I can help." He nodded.

So after dinner, the two of them began a vigorous cleaning campaign.

Spring cleaning is nothing more than washing and drying. Under Chi Rui's command, Ye Minghan also completed the assigned work well, and even gave Chi Rui some pointers occasionally.

It was not until today that Chi Rui discovered that Young Master Ye was a bit of a germaphobe. He seemed like a different person when he was working. He had a very low tolerance for dirt and had to disinfect with alcohol after washing.

Chi Rui originally wanted to slack off for a while, but with his supervision, she had no choice but to work hard.

After cleaning the house inside and out, she was so tired that she collapsed on the sofa, but Ye Minghan still looked full of energy.

"Brother Han, aren't you tired?"

Chi Rui rested her head on his thighs, pouting her lips and complaining softly.

Ye Minghan was changing channels with the remote control. Sitting in the newly renovated living room, he felt a lot happier.

"Not tired." He picked a green grape from the fruit plate and placed it on her pouting lips.

Chi Rui opened his mouth and took it in. While chewing, he mumbled, "Then why am I so tired? I feel like my whole body is falling apart."

"You are too weak." He pinched the tip of her nose.

Chi Rui was a little unconvinced, but he also knew that he did lack exercise.

"Is your waist sore?" Ye Minghan asked.

Chi Rui nodded and said delicately, "The same goes for the back."

"Lie down, I'll give you a massage."

Hearing him say that, Chi Rui didn't think much about it and changed to a prone position, resting her hands on his thighs and resting her chin on the back of her hands.

As soon as she lay down, she felt the man's iron-like hands massaging her back.

His force was quite strong, pressing on her stiff back. It was a little painful at first, but there was also a sense of comfort in the pain, tingling and numb, and it felt very sour and refreshing.

She bit her lips and moaned from time to time. The moans flowed out of her mouth, soft and tender, like the cry of a kitten.

Ye Minghan felt his heart melt when he heard this, and some images that emerged in his mind made his ears slightly red.

He quickly shook his head, trying to suppress his accelerating heartbeat, and carefully controlled the strength in his hands.

After enduring it at first, the muscles on Chi Rui's back gradually relaxed, her brows relaxed, her whole body became soft, and she squinted her eyes as if she was about to fall asleep.

But this state didn't last long, and a cell phone rang, which made Chi Rui regain some consciousness.

She fumbled for the phone on the coffee table and answered it in a daze.

"Yi Yi, um, I just finished cleaning, and now I'm...resting..." she hesitantly said.

"Would you like to play together tomorrow? Sure... Okay, then I'll come to your house tomorrow to see you..."

She was talking on the phone while Ye Minghan was listening with a gleam in his eyes.
