Chapter 4 What
Deng Xiu walked in wearing a bean-colored cheongsam and almost poked Nan Xi's forehead with one hand.
This mother-in-law has never been nice to Nan Xi since the day she came into the family.
She always felt that Nan Xi was marrying above her station, and that being able to marry her son was a blessing earned through several lifetimes. She would always find fault with Nan Xi, no matter what.
If it weren't for the old man's protection, she would have divorced them long ago.
In the past, when her mother-in-law made things difficult for her, Nan Xi would endure it every time because she didn't want to embarrass Qin Xiaoze. She would do whatever she said and listen to her when she scolded her, never refutating her. She wanted to keep the peace and have a harmonious family.

As for who Qin Xiaoze wants to bring back, it is his own business and Nan Xi is not interested.

"What are you doing? Complaining to the old man!" Deng Xiu immediately went to stop him.
Seeing that she was about to attack, Nan Xi dodged.
Seeing her like this, Qin Xiaoze frowned and said, "It's not enough to follow me to the old house, but you also make grandpa worry about you, Nanxi, why are you so ignorant."
Qi Zhengchu couldn't bear to listen any longer, "Xiao Ze, Nan Xi is here to see the old man."
"Grandpa is fine. What does he need her to see? She's a doctor." Qin Xiaoze said, then looked at Nan Xi, "Go back. Don't disturb Grandpa here."
Nan Xi asked back, "What if I don't leave?"
"It's none of your business." Qin Xiaoze said, and called the security guard.
"Let's see who dares!" The noise outside woke up the old man. He walked out of the house with a cane and saw Nan Xi being held on both sides.
"Dad, why did you wake up? It's all Nanxi's fault. She disturbed your rest." Deng Xiu said.
"Shut up."
Deng Xiu closed her mouth unhappily.
Qin Xiaoze took the initiative to speak, "Grandpa, Nan Xi is complaining to you again."
"You shut up too!"
Qin Xiaoze took back the rest of the words.
Seeing this, Lin Rufei took Qin Xiaoze's arm and took the initiative to explain, "Grandpa Qin, it's like this. Xiaoze didn't mean to target Nanxi. He just didn't want her to disturb your rest."
The old man asked the security guard to let go of Nan Xi, then turned his head and looked at Lin Rufei, "Who the hell are you?"
"Grandpa, she is..."
"Let her speak for herself, she doesn't have a mouth?" The old man interrupted his grandson.
Lin Rufei's face was grim, and she bit her lip and introduced herself, "Grandpa, my name is Lin Rufei. I'm the only daughter of the Lin Group and also Xiaoze's friend."
The old man sneered, "The daughter of the Lin family."

"Is she the eldest daughter of the Lin family who abandoned Xiaoze and married abroad? How come, no one wants her anymore, so she turns around and comes looking for my grandson?"
Lin Rufei lowered her head, tears flashing in her eyes.
"Grandpa!" Qin Xiaoze raised his voice in displeasure when he heard his grandfather making things difficult for Lin Rufei.
The old man snorted coldly and waved his hand, signaling Qin Xiaoze to come over. When he came to him, he slapped him on the back of the head, "What a mess you brought home. You came to you after getting divorced. You don't even know that you are being used as a backup, and you did it in front of your wife. You are confused and can't tell the difference between inside and outside. Get her out now."
"Grandpa, Rufei is not..."
"She's nothing. She knows you have a wife, but she still tries to get close to you. She's either stupid or mean. You even brought her home. Are you trying to piss me off to death?"
Before Qin Xiaoze could speak, Lin Rufei covered her mouth and ran away crying, "Grandpa doesn't like me, I'm leaving now."
"Ru Fei..."
Qin Xiaoze chased after him.
