Chapter 5 Jiang Huai was beaten
Lin Yu'an had no intention of opening the door.
Besides my parents, only Jiang Huai knows about this apartment.
She had just called her parents.
But the knocking on the door continued.
Lin Yu'an stood up and went to open the door: "Are you done yet..."
Before she could finish her words, her voice suddenly stopped as she looked at Gu Jingchen outside the door.
"Gu Jingchen? Why is it you?"
"Auntie said you weren't going home tonight and was worried something might happen to you, so she told me your address and asked me to come over and take a look."
After Gu Jingchen finished speaking, he saw Lin Yu'an's red and swollen face.

"Lin and Jiang had a cooperation. Now Jiang has unilaterally terminated the cooperation, which is a huge loss for Lin." Lin Yu'an explained.
She didn't know why she had to explain to Gu Jingchen.
Gu Jingchen entered the room, pulled her to sit on the sofa, then went to find an ice pack and applied it to her.
Being so close, Lin Yu'an could see Gu Jingchen's handsome features more clearly as soon as he raised his eyes. He could even smell the faint scent of perfume on him and his breath.

Lin Yu'an looked at his skillful knife skills and knew that he must cook frequently.
For some reason, she found it very attractive when a man cooked.
She once wanted Jiang Huai to cook a meal for her, but Jiang Huai said that a gentleman should stay away from the kitchen.
They have been together for so many years, but she has never eaten a meal cooked by Jiang Huai.
Gu Jingchen turned around and saw Lin Yu'an standing at the kitchen door. A gentle smile appeared on the corner of his mouth: "It will be a while before we can eat."
"Yeah." Lin Yu'an nodded.
Her mood was much better at this moment, especially after seeing the delicious dishes made by Gu Jingchen, her mood was even better.

Gu Jingchen picked up some food for her.

Although the Lin Group wasn't a large company, it had been in Kyoto for many years. It had resources and connections, and could provide some assistance to a company like Gu Jingchen's, which had just returned to develop.

Lin Yu'an looked at the dishes on the table, stood up and walked to the wine cabinet, took out a bottle of red wine and two wine glasses.

No matter what Lin Yu'an said, Gu Jingchen agreed unconditionally.
Lin Yu'an poured two glasses of red wine, gave one to Gu Jingchen, and took the other and drank it all in one gulp.

He helped Lin Yu'an into the room and put her on the bed.
Lin Yu'an hooked her arm around his neck and brought him down with her the moment she lay on the bed.
Gu Jingchen lost his balance and fell forward.
However, he reacted quickly and supported himself on the bed with his hands, but the posture of the two was still quite ambiguous.
Gu Jingchen looked at the unconscious Lin Yu'an under him. His flushed face turned even redder and his throat tightened. He swallowed, quickly got up and covered Lin Yu'an with a blanket.
When he saw the slap mark on her face, his hand couldn't help but touch it, but he was afraid of hurting her, so he pulled his hand back.
Seeing that Lin Yu'an was already fast asleep, he got up and walked out. He went to the window, took out his cell phone and made a call. His deep eyes looked out the window, and there was no warmth in his eyes.
Late at night
Jiang Huai was driving his supercar on the road when suddenly four or five cars appeared, attacked him from both sides and forced his car to stop.
More than ten people got off the car, holding iron bars.

Before Jiang Huai could finish his words, a man holding an iron rod hit his car with the rod.

Lin Yu'an woke up from his dream and sat up from the bed.
She just had a dream. She dreamed that she found a group of people and beat Jiang Huai up, and the beating was quite severe.

Liang Yulan's commanding voice came from the phone.
"Lin Yu'an, Jiang Huai was beaten and seriously injured. Go to the hospital immediately to take care of him."
Was Jiang Huai really beaten?
Is this her dream coming true?
