Chapter 115 Su Xingzhou brings Ouyang Maomao's abandoned twins home

Su Wanwan sat anxiously on the sofa, her hands clasped tightly together, her brows furrowed, waiting for news with great anticipation.

She has already called the police and doesn't want to answer any calls except from the police station.

Even when the manager handing over the work called her, she hung up before she even had a chance to read the call.

He turned to Zhou Shan and asked, "Where do you think Xingzhou will go?"

Her voice was visibly anxious as she spoke.

Zhou Shan asked thoughtfully, "What does he usually care about most? Like food or entertainment?"

Su Wanwan frowned anxiously, shook her head, and her eyes were filled with helplessness:

"I've searched many places, but I still can't find Xingzhou. Could he have encountered some danger?"

The next second, she heard Zhou Shan say, "Could it be that I've been scammed?"

Her face turned even paler, a wave of panic washed over her, and her lips trembled even more violently.

The phone rang suddenly, and Su Wanwan quickly checked it. She was a little disappointed when she found that it wasn't her call.

At the same time, Zhou Shan also checked her phone.

It was my maternal grandfather, Xiao Yi, calling.

I asked Xiao Yi to help me find Su Xingzhou before, and I think I've found him now.

But not wanting Su Wanwan to know her identity, she patted Su Wanwan's shoulder, stood up, and told her, "It's okay."

He went into his room to answer the phone, "Grandpa, have you found Xingzhou?"

The old man's hoarse voice came from the other end of the phone, "It's been found. Shanshan, you can rest easy now, right?"

"Where?" Zhou Shan asked anxiously.

Xiao Yi laughed and said, "Haha, it seems you value Su Wanwan as a friend."

"Oh dear, Grandpa, you've worried me to death."

"Don't worry, someone will deliver it soon."

Zhou Shan smiled and thanked him, "Thank you, Grandpa!"

Before she could even ask how her grandfather was, she heard Su Wanwan's startled voice from the living room: "Did they really find it?!"

She had no choice but to hang up the phone. "Grandpa, I'll call you back later."

"Okay, go ahead."

When Zhou Shan left the room, Su Wanwan was sitting steadily on the sofa, as if she had just hung up the phone.

She thought Su Wanwan was eavesdropping on her phone call, but after observing her over the years, she realized that Su Wanwan wasn't that kind of person.

However, that intriguing remark really raises suspicions.

"Wanwan, have you found Xingzhou yet?" she asked.

Su Wanwan said, "The police just called and said they think they saw Xingzhou. I have to go to the police station now."

Zhou Shan calmed down and wanted to ask Su Wanwan something, but Su Wanwan's phone rang again.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

Jiang Shengjun's voice came from the other end of the phone, "It's me, Wanwan, what are you doing right now?"

A surge of joy welled up inside him.

Finally, I can show off my success to my wife.

Inside the car, he chuckled softly, about to hand his phone to Su Xingzhou, wanting to surprise Su Wanwan, when he turned around and found that Su Xingzhou had already fallen asleep.

At the same time, Su Wanwan asked, "Mr. Jiang, is there something you need? I've already called the police to look for Xingzhou, and the surveillance footage shows him on a highway. I'm going to check it out now."

Jiang Shengjun said indulgently, "No need to go see him, I've already found Su Xingzhou."

Su Wanwan asked in shock, "Where did you find it?"

Jiang Shengjun replied, "It's in the cemetery in the suburbs, the place where our parents are buried."

Upon hearing this, Su Wanwan finally understood why Su Xingzhou wanted to live and study in the suburbs—it was because of his deceased mother's presence there.

She quickly said, "Where are you now? I'll come pick you up."

Jiang Shengjun said, "No need, we're almost at Youyou Community, but Xingzhou is already asleep."

She said, "Then I'll wait for you at home. I'll cook something delicious for Xingzhou."

Jiang Shengjun jokingly teased her, "You made it for Xingzhou but not for me. I'm the great hero who helped you find Xingzhou."

Su Wanwan said, "That's your own nephew, so it's your responsibility to find him."

"Okay, okay~ It's my duty."

After hanging up the phone, Su Wanwan quickly calmed down.

The rain gradually subsided.

"Knock knock knock!"

The doorbell rang suddenly, and Su Wanwan hurried to the door and nervously opened it.

"Xingzhou, you're finally back!" Her eyes welled up with tears and her voice trembled slightly when she saw Su Xingzhou.

Su Xingzhou lowered his head and whispered, "Sister, I was wrong."

"Do you know you were wrong? Do you know how worried I was about you!" Su Wanwan's tone was slightly reproachful.

"I know, sister, I won't do it again." Su Xingzhou raised her head and looked at her sister earnestly.

Jiang Shengjun chimed in, also worried that their conflict would escalate, so he comforted Su Wanwan: "Alright, Wanwan, it's good that Xingzhou is back, don't blame him anymore."

"Sister, I will listen to you from now on and I won't make you worry anymore," Su Xingzhou said again, holding Su Wanwan's hand.

Su Wanwan patted Su Xingzhou's head and said gently, "Okay, I believe in you."

As they were talking, Su Wanwan's gaze was drawn to the twins that Xiao Zhao was holding on either side of him.

She looked at Jiang Shengjun with a face full of curiosity and asked, "What is this?"

Seeing that her sadness had not completely subsided, Jiang Shengjun tried to tease her by saying, "Why don't you ask me if I'm still angry with you?"

Even at this point, he was still joking. Su Wanwan said helplessly, "Stop fooling around, okay?"

Seeing that she looked tired, Jiang Shengjun replied, "Okay, I'll listen to my wife."
