Chapter 117 Doesn't Ms. Ouyang want to hug these two children?

At the hospital.

When Ouyang Maomao saw Su Wanwan and Jiang Shengjun holding her child in their arms, she became increasingly nervous, her face turned pale, and she gripped her sleeves tightly.

Seeing this, Jiang Rou quickly stepped forward to pull her back, and greeted Su Wanwan and Jiang Shengjun, pretending to know nothing and asking:

"Shengjun, Su Wanwan gave birth to twins? Are these your children?"

Jiang Shengjun shook his head, looked into Ouyang Maomao's eyes and answered firmly, "No, I found her."

Jiang Rou was a little flustered and didn't know what to say. She just nodded repeatedly and said, "Oh, what good luck! This child looks quite cute."

Jiang Shengjun continued, "Good luck? You can have this luck, do you want it?"

Jiang Rou was rendered speechless by the rebuttal.

Jiang Shengyun and Jiang Rou used to be friends, but now they are like strangers.

Jiang Rou gave an awkward smile: "So, are you planning to adopt these two children in the future?"

Jiang Shengjun said, "I don't have the time to raise other people's children. Once they're cured, I'll just leave them in an orphanage and let fate decide their fate."

Upon hearing this, Ouyang Maomao dug her nails into her palms.

Su Wanwan noticed that Ouyang Maomao's belly had shrunk and asked, "Maomao, when did you give birth?"

Ouyang Maomao didn't dare to look at the child in Su Wanwan's eyes, and turned her head to look at the sunlight outside the corridor, looking like she didn't want to talk to Su Wanwan.

Jiang Rou calmed herself down a bit and tried to smooth things over for Ouyang Maomao, saying, "Shengjun knows that Maomao gave birth to her child at home, but the child has already died."

Su Wanwan looked at Jiang Shengjun, then turned to look at Jiang Rou and asked, "When did this happen?"

Jiang Rou replied, "They died yesterday after birth. They were twin girls. Maomao is currently emotionally unstable, so you'd better not upset her."

Su Wanwan calmly replied, "No, not at all." Looking at Ouyang Maomao's pale face, she couldn't help but feel a pang of pity.

Even though Ouyang Maomao made many mistakes, when Su Wanwan recalled her childhood self, she felt more heartache than hatred.

She asked, "Kitty, are you alright now?"

Ouyang Maomao pulled Jiang Rou away and said coldly, "Su Wanwan, I don't need your fake concern."

Jiang Shengjun, protecting Su Wanwan and not wanting his wife to suffer any ill will, retorted, "Don't you know who's the hypocrite?"

Jiang Rou started arguing with him again: "Jiang Shengjun! Don't go too far!"

Jiang Rou felt that Jiang Shengjun had followed her when she sent someone to take the child away, and now it was as if someone had caught her red-handed.

Ouyang Maomao looked somewhat flustered, and her face grew even paler.

Jiang Shengjun said, "Ms. Ouyang doesn't look too well. Would you like to hold these two children?"

Ouyang Maomao glared angrily at Jiang Shengjun, shouting at him in a fit of rage, "My child is gone! Because of you, I almost died! Jiang Shengjun, don't go too far!"

Jiang Shengjun sneered: "I went too far? You know exactly what you did."

Su Wanwan didn't want to listen to their argument, so she spoke up to stop them, saying, "Alright, this is a hospital, with so many people around. How can you have the nerve to argue about something like this? If you want to argue, go to the ward later."

Ouyang Maomao and Jiang Rou became increasingly angry, and the two turned and left hand in hand.

Su Wanwan watched as the two people in front of her left.

One was Jiang Rou, who had been married to her ex-husband, and the other was Ouyang Maomao, who had once been in love with her ex-husband. She only felt a little ironic.

She is self-aware enough to know that they don't like her, which is normal.

However, nowadays, Su Wanwan feels a chill in her heart that she now believes the child Ouyang Maomao was carrying was Jiang Shengjun's.

Seeing her lost in thought, Jiang Shengjun asked, "What are you thinking about, Wanwan?"

Su Wanwan said, "I was just wondering, could the cat's baby really be yours?"

Jiang Shengjun was a little nervous: "You're starting to doubt me again? But think about it, why didn't she keep the child after it died? I could have done a paternity test, but she just wanted to frame me."

Su Wanwan was annoyed: "Jiang Shengjun, I don't want to argue with you, and I don't want to be with you anymore."

He was devastated when he heard Su Wanwan say this, and he was holding the child in his arms. "Su Wanwan, do you believe that the child in our arms is Ouyang Maomao's?"

Anyone can disbelieve him, but Su Wanwan is the only one who cannot disbelieve him.

Anyone can misunderstand him, but Su Wanwan cannot!

Su Wanwan asked, "Didn't Jiang Rou say that Ouyang Maomao gave birth to twin girls?"

While the two were arguing, the child started crying loudly again.

Without thinking twice, Su Wanwan took her child to find a doctor.

Inside the VIP pediatric ward, the child had been patiently soothed by Su Wanwan.

Su Wanwan asked Jiang Shengjun with a suspicious look, "What exactly happened? You can't hide it from me, you have to explain it to me clearly."

Jiang Shengjun silently took out a letter and said in a deep voice, "I received this letter yesterday when I left Ouyang Maomao's house."

Su Wanwan took the letter, unfolded it, and exclaimed in surprise, "Does that mean her child didn't die at all, but was lost?"

Jiang Shengjun nodded in agreement: "Yes, I ran into her at the mall last month. She was buying baby products by herself, and her stomach was already flat."

Su Wanwan pondered for a moment and guessed, "So, Ouyang Maomao gave birth to premature babies? And they're twins, a boy and a girl, not twin girls?"

Jiang Shengjun replied, "That's right. When I arrived, I happened to see someone abandoning the two children, but I didn't realize it at the time. When I got to the Ouyang family, Jiang Rou said that the children had died, and then I suddenly realized it, but it was too late."
