Su Wanwan and Su Xingzhou arrived at the Fu family's residence, and their car had just stopped in the Fu family's parking lot.
Just as Su Wanwan was taking the test results out of the car, Su Xingzhou saw Jiang Shengjun and excitedly shouted, "Uncle, what brings you here?"
He shouted while waving his hand vigorously.
Jiang Shengjun turned around upon hearing the voice, also somewhat surprised: "Xingzhou?"
His cousin ran over and hugged him tightly: "Uncle, why are you at Brother Fu's house too?"
He held Su Xingzhou in his arms and said, "What? Only you can come, but your uncle isn't allowed?"
Su Wanwan also came over at this time. She felt a little awkward thinking about the argument she had with Jiang Shengjun last time, but she could only remain calm and pretend that nothing had happened.
Seeing this, Su Xingzhou was afraid that his uncle would misunderstand, so he quickly explained, "No, I mean, what are you doing at Brother Fu's house?"
As he spoke, his chubby hand unconsciously scratched his head.
Jiang Shengjun glanced at Su Wanwan, holding Su Xingzhou in one arm and casually putting the other hand in his pocket, and replied with a smile, "We came to visit my brother. We heard he's in a relationship, and it's his girlfriend's birthday, so we came to join in the fun and support him."
Su Wanwan asked curiously, "Dating? Doesn't he like cats?"
Jiang Shengyun stretched out his right index finger and waved it in front of Su Wanwan, retorting, "You, she doesn't like him. He can't keep trying to win her over. He might as well find someone else."
Su Xingzhou then spoke up for his sister, expressing his own pure thoughts: "But Uncle, shouldn't loving someone be for a lifetime?"
Jiang Shengjun shook his head helplessly: "Xingzhou, you have to remember, you can't expect anyone to remain unmarried or single for life because of another person, and no one will wait for you forever."
Su Xingzhou nodded slightly and muttered softly, "Okay, I got it."
After listening to the explanation, Su Wanwan looked at the Fu family's furnishings with a somewhat listless expression, and couldn't help but sigh inwardly.
Jiang Shengjun's sharp eyes keenly sensed that Su Wanwan seemed to have something on her mind. His heart skipped a beat, realizing that he might have said something that upset her again. So he put Su Xingzhou down, stepped forward, gently patted Su Wanwan's shoulder, and asked softly, "What are you thinking about? I was wrong about what happened last time."
Su Wanwan's lips curled up slightly, revealing a somewhat forced smile. She said nonchalantly, "It's nothing. I was just thinking that sincerity really can change in an instant, and it's also the most worthless thing in this world. You can fall in love with one person today, and you might fall in love with another tomorrow."
Jiang Shengjun opened his mouth, but didn't know what to say. He originally wanted to tell Su Wanwan that, in his heart, sincerity was the most valuable thing in the world.
But then I thought about what I had just said and felt that it was a bit superfluous to say it now.
He took Su Xingzhou's hand, turned and walked towards the hall. As he left, he turned back and added, "We can't generalize. Everyone is different. Some people's sincerity is worthless, but some people's sincerity is one in a million."
Su Wanwan was silent for a moment, then murmured to herself, "Maybe."
The moment she stepped through the Fu family's gate, she immediately sensed that something was amiss.
Fu Ning quickly ran to her side, took her hand tightly, and then led her to another place.
Seeing that Su Wanwan seemed to have something to attend to, Jiang Shengyun took Su Xingzhou's little hand and said gently, "Xingzhou, how about your uncle takes you to meet some new friends?"
Su Xingzhou turned his gaze to Su Wanwan, fearing that his sister would not take him with her when she went to see Brother Fu, and quickly said, "Then remember to invite me when you go to see Brother Fu, sister."
Su Wanwan smiled and nodded in response, "Okay, don't worry."
Fu Ning pulled Su Wanwan into the garden and then spoke impatiently.
"Sister Wanwan, guess who my brother is dating?"
Filled with curiosity, Su Wanwan couldn't help but ask, "With whom?"
Fu Ning became somewhat agitated, and her voice unconsciously rose a little: "With Ye Zhao!"
Upon hearing this, Su Wanwan was completely stunned and asked with a face full of doubt, "Ye Zhao? Isn't that the person who bullied you at school? How could Fu Yan, your brother, do such a thing?"
Fu Ning nodded heavily and then said, "Yes, my brother and Ye Zhao are together. They started dating right after the college entrance exam. I really don't know what my brother is thinking."
Just as the two were talking, Ye Zhao appeared in front of them without warning.
Ye Zhao wore a black princess dress and a dazzling crown on her head. Her makeup was exquisite, but her eyes held a hint of provocation.
She raised an eyebrow and chuckled, saying, "Love is unstoppable when it comes. Fu Ning, you like your Gu Jin, and I like my Fu Yan. From now on, we'll go our separate ways, and you'll still have to call me sister-in-law."
Fu Ning was so angry when she heard Ye Zhao's words that her face turned red. She clenched her fists tightly, but she didn't know how to refute them.
She knew that Ye Zhao had always been a spoiled and willful girl who not only bullied her at school but also often bullied other classmates.
Su Wanwan saw all of this. She stepped forward, raised her hand and slapped Ye Zhao hard across the face, saying sternly, "I don't know what methods you used to get close to Fu Yan, but I'm warning you, if you dare to bully Fu Ning in the Fu family again, I will never let you off the hook."
Ye Zhao covered her burning cheeks, a hint of surprise and anger flashing in her eyes.
She originally thought Su Wanwan was a gentle and kind person, but she didn't expect her to be so assertive.
But she quickly regained her composure and retorted, "What are you doing! I didn't bully her much before. It was just kids playing around. Why are you adults getting involved?"
Su Wanwan sneered; she knew Ye Zhao was just making excuses.
She has always been an upright and courageous person and would never tolerate such unreasonable behavior.
Fu Ning watched from the side, his heart filled with gratitude and admiration for Su Wanwan.
He knew that Su Wanwan genuinely cared about him, unlike Ye Zhao who was hypocritical.
Seeing that Su Wanwan showed no sign of backing down, Ye Zhao grew even angrier.
She didn't dare to lay a hand on Su Wanwan, but instead raised her hand and slapped Fu Ning across the face.
When Su Wanwan tried to stop her, she actually grabbed Fu Ning's hair and threatened, "You think you're so great, huh!"
Undeterred, Su Wanwan grabbed Ye Zhao's hand and forcefully pushed her away.
Her gaze was firm and resolute, as if telling Ye Zhao that she would never let anyone hurt Fu Ning.
