Su Wanwan dragged her tired body back from the hospital after completing her prenatal checkup.
She tiptoed into the house, but her gaze was involuntarily drawn to the busy figure in the kitchen.
How come there are male members in the family?
She leaned forward, looking at her aunt with suspicion, and asked in a low voice, "Who is this?"
While soothing the child, the aunt replied, "He said his name is Qu Si'en, and he lives next door to us. He also said that he and you are close friends. I was busy at the time, and he said he could cook, which I thought was great, so I let him come."
Su Wanwan's mouth dropped open in shock, and she exclaimed incredulously, "Ah Q, what are you doing here?"
Qu Si'en turned around, a slight smile playing on his lips. He raised his hand to gently wipe the sweat from his forehead and said with a smile, "From now on, there will be no more Ah Q in this world. Just call me Si'en."
Su Wanwan nodded slightly and replied softly, "Yeah, I've been too busy lately and forgot. Maybe pregnancy makes you forgetful for three years."
Qu Si'en continued, "It's not that serious or exaggerated. There's fresh fruit on the table for you to try; it's all sour."
Su Wanwan nodded silently. Actually, she really wanted to eat something spicy, but she didn't want to disappoint Qu Si'en, so she ate some sour fruit to fill her stomach.
Since becoming pregnant, she has not only been excessively sleepy, but also gets hungry very easily.
Seeing that Qu Si'en's legs had returned to normal and she could walk without any problems, she pointed and asked curiously, "You have a prosthetic leg?"
As Qu Si'en washed the vegetables, a relieved smile appeared on her face. She nodded and replied, "Yes, apart from not being able to run for long periods of time, everything else is fine."
Su Wanwan struck a pose like an old man basking in the sun, and couldn't help but sigh, "I've noticed that since I left Jiang Shengjun, the people around me have been doing better and better."
She had only said it casually, but unfortunately, she ran into Jiang Shengyun who suddenly appeared.
Jiang Shengjun walked over as quickly as a gust of wind, his tall figure silhouetted against the ground.
Su Wanwan was eating fruit when she suddenly turned around and met Jiang Shengjun's cold and ruthless face, which seemed like that of a god.
Just then, Qu Si'en asked her, "How is the baby?"
Su Wanwan looked at Jiang Shengjun, a hint of helplessness flashing in her eyes. She slowly turned her head, pursed her lips, and replied, "The doctor said it's been two... months."
Upon hearing this, Jiang Shengjun frowned deeply. He strode over to Su Wanwan's side, grabbed her shoulders tightly, and said anxiously, "You can't abort the child, you understand?"
Su Wanwan looked at Zhou Shan and Jiang Shengsheng following behind Jiang Shengjun with a helpless expression.
She had kept it a secret from Jiang Shengjun for over a month, and after finally enjoying this period of peace and quiet, Zhou Shan summoned Jiang Shengjun with just one address.
Heavens above, earth below!
Her ears are going to be ringing again!
Arguing with Jiang Shengjun will probably cause my breasts to become blocked again!
Su Wanwan sighed helplessly and waved her hand, "No, who told you I was going to abort the child?"
Jiang Shengjun pointed at Jiang Shengsheng, Su Wanwan looked at Jiang Shengsheng, and Jiang Shengsheng then pointed at Zhou Shan.
Su Wanwan looked at her best friend, shook her head helplessly, and looked on with a sense of helplessness in her eyes.
Jiang Shengjun held Su Wanwan's hand tightly, his cold expression gradually softening. He said seriously, "I know now, this is also my child. You can't be like Ouyang Maomao, who wanted to abort Fu Yan's child on your own back then."
Su Wanwan quickly pulled her hand away and anxiously replied, "I won't hit you."
Jiang Shengjun and Jiang Shengsheng were both stunned and looked at Zhou Shan.
Zhou Shan suddenly panicked, fidgeting with the hem of her clothes, fine beads of sweat forming on her forehead, as she hurriedly explained:
"No, I asked you this morning if you wanted to have an abortion, and you said yes, so I... Anyway, Jiang Shengyun and I just had a fight, we'll be fine in the future. I really want to be your sister-in-law, Wanwan~ We'll always be together~"
Su Wanwan smiled helplessly, shaking her head as she said, "I meant 'stay,' not 'abortion,' sister."
Zhou Shan suddenly realized: "Good heavens! I thought..."
At that moment, Jiang Shengjun's gaze also fell on Qu Si'en, and he asked, "Ah Q? When did you get here?"
Su Wanwan, however, looked completely unconcerned and said, "He's my brother now, and he lives next door to me. It's perfectly normal for a brother to take care of his sister. You can't bully my brother, okay?"
Isn't this just tit for tat?
He had previously used the pretense of a blind date to meet his childhood sweetheart.
Now she's going to use Qu Si'en's name to drive him crazy.
Jiang Shengjun looked at his former subordinate and said indifferently, "You don't even know if I have the heart to bully him, but I'm the only one who can cook for you."
Qu Si'en naturally retorted without backing down: "Mr. Jiang, I'm no longer your subordinate. I'm Wanwan's brother, and I'm qualified to cook for her."
The two were exchanging barbs in the kitchen. Jiang Shengjun said, "Ah Q, you green tea b*tch, don't think I don't know what you're up to. Don't even think about getting close to my Wanwan under the guise of friendship and love. Although we're divorced now, she'll come back to me one day. Besides, she's pregnant with my child."
Qu Si'en said, "Mr. Jiang, I don't want to fight with you. I'm not the Ah Q I used to be."
Jiang Shengjun said, "Fight! Why not fight? Real men, go out and play a few more rounds of Chu River and Han Border."
