Chapter 42 Destiny: Su Wanwan is the key to the Hall of Mental Cultivation, and he says he will destroy the key to the Hall of Mental Cultivation.

The phone call was filled with the sound of turbulent waves; Su Wanwan was nearly driven mad when she received the call that morning.

She quickly threw off the covers and got up, her mind filled with worry for her family's safety.

I quickly put on my clothes, slipped on my slippers, and rushed downstairs.

As evening fell, Su Wanwan rushed downstairs and bumped into Jiang Shengjun, who was just getting off work, because she was in such a hurry.

Jiang Shengjun quickly steadied her, who was in a panic, and anxiously asked, "What's wrong? Wanwan?"

He had never seen her so anxious before.

"My mom...my mom and the others had an accident."

The sound of sobbing came from the pitiful person in my arms, their eyes filled with sorrow, like autumn leaves falling.

She forcefully broke free from Jiang Shengjun's embrace, quickly jumped into his car, sat in the driver's seat without hesitation, started the engine, and drove towards Lighthouse Beach.

Jiang Shengjun couldn't stop her and accidentally let go, letting her leave. He felt as if someone had secretly stabbed him in the heart.

Things happened so suddenly that before Jiang Shengjun could even get into the car, Su Wanwan drove it away.

He originally left work early so that he could take Su Wanwan to see his grandmother.

Seeing Su Wanwan with tears in her eyes, he felt that Su Wanwan was acting.

Perhaps she didn't want to see her grandmother.

But he couldn't let her act recklessly.

While having someone drive after them, he picked up his phone and called the security guard, instructing him: "Don't let the young mistress leave the Jiang family's house alone."

Just as he gave these instructions, the security guard closed the iron gate.

Su Wanwan kicked the door open without hesitation.

She's going to save her family!

To withdraw ten million from the bank now requires an appointment, and the debt collectors on the phone didn't give her any room for negotiation.

The car drove all the way to Lighthouse Beach.

His father, mother, and brother were all tethered to the lighthouse on the beach.

They were surrounded by seven or eight well-dressed bodyguards wearing sunglasses.

She climbed to the top of the lighthouse, intending to discuss repaying the money with them.

Wang Yilin, the leader, said smugly to Su Wanwan, "Oh! Isn't this the richest man, Gou Jiao Jie? If I didn't force you this way, you might not have been willing to pay your debts."

Su Wanwan got out of the car and walked towards them, "This is violent debt collection! Which company are you from? I have reason to complain about you! I didn't say I wouldn't pay back the money; I still have my own money."

Wang Yilin ordered someone to check Su Wanwan's car, but they found nothing.

He then ordered someone to hold a pair of scissors and point them at Li Wenyan, Su Yuanxin, and Su Xingzhou, saying with a disdainful look, "Oh, you have money? Then why don't you take it out? How can we do business with you if you come empty-handed? Our company's senior management said that if you don't deliver the money to us by 8 p.m. tonight, your family members will be killed."

Su Wanwan tried to calm herself down and told them, "You all know who I am. How could I not have this much money? If I can't, my husband will help me, won't he?"

Wang Yilin was extremely disdainful, and a mouthful of phlegm welled up in his mouth.

"Ha...te!"

His expression was defiant as he frantically rubbed the dagger against the ropes binding their hands.

"Mrs. Jiang, don't you know that we only care about money, not people?"

"Please don't cut them! I beg you, they are my only family."

Su Wanwan knelt before them, tears streaming down her face. Her heart was pounding in her chest, fearing that if he struck her with his knife, the three of them would fall into the sea and perish.

She is most afraid of losing the person she cares about most.

Wang Yilin's mustache was neatly trimmed. He lit a cigarette, looked at the distant sunset, glanced at the time, and said to Su Wanwan, "Money! We only care about money. If we get this done by 8 p.m., we'll release them. You have two hours."

She looked at her parents, who were still unconscious, and Su Xingzhou, trying her best to calm the debt collectors down.

Just as Su Wanwan was about to call Jiang Shengjun, the emaciated Su Yuanxin slightly parted his cracked lips, "Water, water..."

The hoarse voice mingled with the sound of the waves.

Su Wanwan saw the Nongfu Spring water bottle next to her and reached out to take it.

Without saying a word, Wang Yilin stepped on her fair hand, instantly causing red marks to appear, and the skin was even scratched by the shoe on his foot.

Fresh blood seeped out.

"Want a drink? Pay up first."

Su Wanwan's brows furrowed in pain, but she didn't utter a single cry during this time so as not to worry her father.

But her father could still see clearly. His hoarse voice came through, and he shook his head wearily: "Don't touch her! Wanwan, Daddy's not thirsty, Daddy won't drink..."

Su Yuanxin is no longer the spirited young man he once was.

Su Wanwan's impression of her good father only dates back to her childhood. After she grew up, her father never left her with a good impression again.

However, blood is thicker than water, and Su Wanwan felt even worse when she saw the accident than if it had happened to her.

Su Wanwan broke free: "Let me go!"

Wang Yilin was taken aback. He wasn't afraid of Su Wanwan in front of him, but of Jiang Shengjun behind her.

Su Wanwan thought about it again and came up with some ways to buy time. She decided to first show her attitude and then think of ways to solve the problem.

“I’ll transfer 30,000 yuan to you via my phone first. You need to untie my parents and brother, give them three bottles of water, and prepare some bread for them. We won’t leave here, but I have to make sure they are safe. I can raise the money for you.”

Wang Yilin took out his phone, opened the QR code for receiving payments, and Su Wanwan transferred 30,000 yuan to him without saying a word.

He received the money so that Su Wanwan could go and get the water and bread. But before Wang Yilin could even begin to untie the ropes, Su Yuanxin's rope came loose first.
