Chapter 51 The ultimate love is to rejoice in what she rejoices, love what she loves, feel what she feels pain, and grieve what she grieves.

When Su Wanwan jumped, Jiang Shengjun was the first to grab her hand.

He saved her life, took her home, and cared for her tenderly.

After helping her parents with their funeral arrangements, Su Wanwan had been calming down at Jiang Shengjun's house for more than half a month.

For the past two weeks, she didn't want to pay attention to anything. Even at the Jiang family's house, she kept herself locked in her room and didn't even bother to open the curtains.

The room was dimly lit, as if no light could penetrate it.

"Ms. Su, your dinner is ready. Please enjoy."

Jiang Shengjun, disguised as a waiter, brought over a steaming hot dinner from downstairs; it looked incredibly lavish.

Knowing she was in a bad mood, he carefully cooked for her every day, giving her a lot of care and love.

The light switch suddenly clicked, and the room finally lit up.

Su Wanwan's mind went blank, as if she were a walking wooden doll.

Ignoring what Jiang Shengjun said, she picked up a few mouthfuls of rice, chewed them, and drank a bowl of soup.

She then put down her bowl and chopsticks, climbed into bed, lifted the covers, lay down, covered herself with the covers, and turned her back to Jiang Shengjun.

Her movements were fluid and natural; she had been doing this for the past few days.

Jiang Shengjun turned off the light, sat on the edge of the bed and patted Su Wanwan's back, "Wanwan, let me take you out to play, let's release your suppressed emotions."

Su Wanwan didn't want to say anything, but she didn't want Jiang Shengjun to be upset because of her, so she just silently shook her head in response.

Even though half a month has passed, the scene imprinted in her mind is still vividly clear.

Moreover, she seemed to have lost the ability to move and speak.

“Wanwan, I’m very worried about you. I’m worried that you’ll get seriously ill from holding in that anger.”

Jiang Shengjun cared about her a lot, but he couldn't influence her emotions.

He has even been paying attention to psychology lately, hoping to leave Su Wanwan with a good way to handle things.

Su Wanwan lay on the bed like a corpse; it seemed her soul had already left with her family.

"Xiao Xingzhou is doing very well now. The Jiang family villa doesn't have good medical equipment, so he went to the hospital and has now returned."

Jiang Shengjun regularly reported to her about Su Xingzhou's safety.

Su Wanwan simply responded with a cold and indifferent "Hmm."

“Xiao Xingzhou has also gone to school. I told him that his parents went to a very far place.”

Su Wanwan's heart was like a stagnant pool, and she simply hummed in agreement.

The two "hmm" sounds made Jiang Shengjun's heart stop, as he had wanted to hug her. He withdrew his hand from mid-air, lowered his eyes, and sighed silently in his heart.

Jiang Shengjun thought that perhaps she wanted to be alone for a while.

The matter of the key to the Hall of Mental Cultivation is now widely discussed outside. If it were before, Jiang Shengjun would probably have asked her about it, but seeing how heartbroken she is now, the key to the Hall of Mental Cultivation seems to have no meaning to him.

He got up to clean up Su Wanwan's barely touched dinner, his heart feeling like it was bleeding.

As he was about to leave, he couldn't help but wipe his hands with a wet wipe, turn back, and hug her tightly, pulling her into his arms.

“Wanwan, you used to be such a crybaby, but since the moment I met you after your parents passed away, you haven’t shed a single tear. I hope my Wanwan won’t suppress herself in front of me.”

He knew she was suppressing her emotions and always wanted to make her explode.

“That online gambling company has been shut down, but it was actually an outsourced company. My sister is currently investigating the internal operations. Once there are results, I will definitely not let them get away with it. I will never let those who hurt our parents and Xingzhou get away with it.”

He had been talking too much to Su Wanwan these past few days, but Su Wanwan remained completely numb and never said a word to him.

He also found that he still couldn't change her bad mood, so he gave her a quiet and independent space and didn't let anyone come up to disturb her.

Suddenly, the doorbell was rang many times. Su Wanwan curled up on the bed and covered her ears with her hands when she heard the "ding-a-ling" sound.

Jiang Shengjun felt a little uncomfortable, so he got up to open the door and prepared to give that person a piece of his mind.

Didn't we say we shouldn't be disturbed?

Who would have thought that the person who opened the door would be Su Xingzhou?

"Brother-in-law, may I speak with my sister for a moment?" Su Xingzhou asked politely.

Jiang Shengjun glanced back at Su Wanwan, who was alone in the shadows, and had no choice but to refuse: "Your sister isn't feeling well right now. If you have anything to say, you can tell me, and your brother-in-law will pass it on for you."

Su Xingzhou said, "My dad told me before that there is a diary at home where he records his daily life, and he hopes that my sister can take it out and take a look."

Jiang Shengjun reached out and patted Su Xingzhou's head: "Okay, your brother-in-law will pass on the message to you."

That day, when he mentioned this to Su Wanwan, Su Wanwan shook her head and said, "I don't want to read Dad's diary."

She knew her parents' deaths were premeditated; she had sensed it that day in the Hall of Mental Cultivation, but she never imagined they would leave in this way.

Jiang Shengjun knew that her reluctance to go back and sort through her belongings stemmed from her unwillingness to accept the fact that her parents had passed away, and she had been avoiding the issue.

Perhaps time will heal her.

All Jiang Shengjun could do was silently stay by her side, keep her alive, and wait for her to truly let go.

Another half month passed, and Su Wanwan started getting up to take a shower and put on makeup, as if she had figured out a lot of things overnight.

She called Jiang Shengjun, "Mr. Jiang, I remember you have the day off tomorrow. Could you come with me home to sort through my parents' belongings?"
