"Let go of my dad!"
Su Wanwan, a young girl, shouted loudly at four burly men.
The four men didn't take her seriously and took turns holding knives to Su Yuanxin's neck.
It wasn't until he shouted, "I can pay back this 5 million today!" that Zhao Shicai's attention gradually shifted.
"What did you say? I didn't hear you clearly."
Zhao Shi found it amusing, picked at his ear with his little finger, and asked his brothers beside him, "What did that woman just say?"
The remaining three laughed, their laughter echoing in Su Wanwan's ears.
"She said she could pay it back today, it's hilarious. She couldn't earn five million even if she went out and sold herself for a whole day, and the market isn't even that good now."
Su Wanwan's eyes were sharp and determined: "I'll give it a try! It should work."
She had just called the police, and it would take the police an hour to drive from the police station to the village.
She just needs to stall for this hour to save her father's life first, and then figure out what to do next.
Zhao Shi looked at Su Wanwan with a provocative expression.
“I admit you’re pretty. Even if you sleep with one person every half hour, 24 hours a day, and even if you only make up the highest amount of 5,000 at a time, you still can’t make that much in 24 hours.”
Su Wanwan threatened them.
"Let go of my dad! I'll try. Isn't your boss pressuring you? He's asking you if you want to live!"
Zhao Shi gradually released Su Yuanxin's hand, looked at Su Wanwan with a spectator's expression, put down the knife in his hand, and clapped and cheered.
Su Wanwan took a breath, stared at the contact on the screen who had called her seven or eight times, and called him back despite the pressure.
"Hey, Su Wanwan, what's your decision?"
The voice coming from the other end of the phone was processed with a voice changer; it was the voice of a Minion.
This made the previously tense atmosphere much more relaxed.
But it also seems to have an added element of humor to it.
Su Wanwan's heart was pounding violently, and she felt dizzy standing there. She tried to bear it.
She lowered her voice, "Mr. Sin, I agree to marry you."
The Minion on the other end of the phone was very excited: "Really?"
Su Wanwan gripped her phone tightly, extremely nervous, and said only, "But I need five million, as a bride price, is that alright?"
She said that just to buy time, hoping the police would arrive before she could figure out how to make money.
Five million? Su Wanwan thought the other party would definitely find it unreasonable.
She herself knew that there's no such thing as a free lunch.
This was just to buy time for the police to arrive at the scene.
