The further you go in, the stronger the smell of blood becomes.
The boy stopped a little nervously, took out his phone from his pocket, and decisively dialed 110.
Then the person quietly walked back.
"Based on my years of experience watching movies, this place is most likely the crime scene."
It's still not too late to back out now.
The boy silently pondered as he tiptoed out of the alley.
"Hello, this is 110. Do you need any assistance?"
Just as the boy was about to run away with the bag, the police were called.
The boy deliberately lowered his voice and whispered to the police.
"Hello, officer, I smelled a strong odor of blood in an alley..."
"The smell of blood? Hello? What's wrong? Hello?!"
"Holy crap! Get the police out of here immediately!"
Snap!
The phone was smashed to pieces by a bone whip.
[HeLa Cell] looked around and, seeing that no one had noticed, immediately picked up the headless boy and dragged him into the alley.
The HeLa Cells had actually spotted the boy as soon as he entered the alley, while the boy was eating his newly caught prey.
The original plan was to wait until the boy entered the corner and then take care of him instantly.
Unexpectedly, the boy turned back halfway, something that HeLa cells hadn't anticipated.
But none of that matters; as long as the final result is the same, that's fine.
[HeLa Cells] devoured both corpses in a few bites, but their size did not change; instead, the two bone whips on their backs grew longer.
Just then, a police siren suddenly sounded in the neighborhood, and the sound was rapidly approaching.
A group of police officers opened the doors of their police cars; some carried riot shields, some carried batons, and one or two carried pistols as they walked into the alley.
Sensing the approaching crowd, the two bone whips behind the HeLa cells began to lash out in the air. If they turned a corner, they would instantly perish under the whips.
But when these police officers reached the corner, they stopped, leaned against the wall, and slowly peeked out to observe, clearly showing they were well-trained.
Just as a policeman poked his head out, a bone whip lashed out, instantly tearing a large gash in the corner of the wall and slicing off half of the policeman's face.
"Ah—!" The policeman fell to the ground, groaning in pain.
"Quickly! Report to your superiors... It's an alien species!"
After saying that, another bone whip pierced through the heart of the policeman.
"Go back and report! I'll hold them off!" a policeman with a pistol immediately ordered, and the other policemen ran back immediately.
The policeman raised his pistol with trembling hands, looking at the HeLa cell that had emerged from around the corner with a look of horror.
Although he was terrified, he still pulled the trigger and fired several shots without hesitation.
All the bullets hit, but only left a few small wounds on the HeLa cells.
With a flick of a bone whip, the armed policeman collapsed to the ground, powerless.
The bullet holes on HeLa Cell's body healed completely in the blink of an eye. It glanced at the pistol lying on the ground and felt something was strange. This was completely different from the one it had encountered before; it was like heaven and earth.
However, HeLa cells didn't seem to have the inclination to think about it in detail.
It turned around and chased after the others who had fled.
Several police officers immediately opened the doors of the police car, climbed inside, and floored the accelerator, speeding forward.
