"Hello--"
"Ni... Hao~?"
"Oh no, no, your pronunciation is completely wrong."
A woman from Great Xia was correcting a middle-aged Russian man in front of her, but she seemed to be running out of patience.
“Неучиться,неучиться,китайскийслишкомсложно!” (I'm not learning anymore, I'm not learning anymore, Chinese is too difficult!)
The middle-aged man waved his hand, indicating he didn't want to continue learning.
The woman sighed helplessly, "I'm really at a loss with you. Why can you understand Chinese but not speak it?"
The middle-aged man shrugged. "Я не 3наю, но все равно учиться не 6уду." (How should I know? I just can't seem to learn it.)
The woman shook her head, looked at the white-haired girl beside her, and said with a kind expression, "Our daughter Hera is the smartest. She can speak both Chinese and Russian."
The middle-aged man puffed out his chest, a proud look on his face. "Конечно, не смотря, чья это дочь." (Of course, look who her daughter is.)
This made Hera blush, and she lowered her head shyly.
"It's all thanks to my parents for teaching me so well."
Then a large hand landed on Hera's head and gently stroked it.
“Ничего, даже если янеговорюпокитайски,ямогу 3ащитить вас о6оих в России, мать и дочь.” (It's alright, even if I don't speak Chinese, I can still protect you and your daughter in Russia.)
Hera nodded gently, feeling her father's touch; his hand was large and warm.
But... this is the last time.
A sudden car accident shattered this once warm and loving family.
Bang—
The operating room door was pushed open, and a doctor in a white coat came out.
Hera, who speaks Russian, quickly stepped forward to inquire about her father's condition.
“3дравствуйте, как мой отец?” (Hello, how is my father?)
Hera's mother, holding Hera's fair little hand, looked at the doctor with a similarly anxious expression.
The doctor took off his mask and shook his head apologetically.
“И3вините, мы не смогли спасти мистера Йегеля.” (I'm sorry, we couldn't save Mr. Jaeger.)
Their hearts sank into an icy abyss, and Hera's mother covered her face and collapsed to the ground, weeping.
Through the crack in the door, Hera saw her father lying on the hospital bed, saying goodbye to her forever.
"Dad!" Hera suddenly sat up in bed.
He was panting heavily, looking like he was still in shock.
"Huh?" The next moment, her terrified face returned to its previous blank expression.
"Who is Dad? Where did these memories come from?"
A tear rolled down Hera's cheek; she wiped it away with her hand and placed it in front of her.
"Why am I crying..."
Hera felt somewhat surprised.
"What's wrong, Hera? Did you have a nightmare?"
Xinglan, who was wearing pajamas, was awakened by Hera, who looked at her with concern.
"Hmm." Hera nodded slightly. For her, this dream was indeed a nightmare.
Then she remembered that everyone had gone to sleep after dinner last night.
I wanted to try what it felt like to fall asleep, so I did what Xinglan did and fell asleep.
But judging from the results... I think I shouldn't sleep anymore.
"Hera, don't be afraid, your sister is here, you won't be in danger."
Xinglan tenderly wiped away the remaining tears from Hera's eyes and then gently hugged her.
"Okay, you're not sad anymore, are you?"
"I'm not sad anymore." Hera, wearing Patrick Star pajamas, shook her head.
Xinglan was relieved. "That's good. If there's nothing else, let's get up. It's time to get up and train!"
As she spoke, she took off Stitch's pajamas and changed into her usual clothes.
Hera also changed out of her pajamas and followed Xinglan out for training.
When they reached the door, Xinglan suddenly stopped, turned to look at Hera, and smiled.
“I feel like you’ve recovered a lot. Before, you seemed emotionless, but now you’re having nightmares and feeling sad.”
Hera tilted her head.
"It's nothing, it's nothing. Let's go, let's get to training!"
He opened the door and pulled Hera along, preparing to head to the training room.
However, he was getting more and more excited. Hera was almost back to normal. Once she regained her memories and became a big shot, the day when she would be given a cheat code to become the pinnacle of the world would be just around the corner!
But in reality, Hera still has no emotions. Although she can understand human emotions and desires, she herself has no emotions except for the occasional inexplicable feelings.
As soon as they stepped out of the dormitory, the two saw a large truck parked in front of the barbershop.
"Lalamove?" Xinglan looked at the worker who opened the car door to unload the goods and Ye Yiqing standing next to him with a puzzled expression.
The other party also noticed Xinglan and explained with a smile, "I'm bringing over some things from my old house."
"No need, your boys' dorms basically have everything, and besides, you don't need personal belongings..."
Before she could finish speaking, Xinglan was startled by what was inside the truck.
