Chapter 44 Roommate

Hera stood there blankly, looking at the growing crowd around her, unsure of what to do.

"Wow, this girl is amazing! She didn't die from falling from such a height!"

"Her ability should be regeneration. I saw that she was seriously injured when she fell, but she just recovered..."

"What a pretty girl, I want to take her home~" The white-haired boy with an eyepatch over his left eye was slashed by a scabbard. The white-haired boy covered his head and looked at his brother resentfully, then scoffed.

The black-haired boy with an eyepatch over his right eye glared at him, then looked at Hera. Just as he was about to walk over and say something, the instructor's angry roar came from behind him.

"What are you all doing gathered here! Trying to fly to the heavens?!"

What cultural relics or rare treasures are here that you should visit?

Do you need me to provide each of you with a camera to take some pictures?!

"Okay!" The white-haired boy asked the instructor who had reached out his hand.

The instructor looked at the white-haired boy in front of him, who was smiling innocently, and his mouth twitched wildly. Then he kicked the boy several meters away.

The white-haired boy collapsed to the ground in agony.

"Who else?! Who hasn't had enough fun yet? I'll deal with them individually!!" the instructor roared.

The others were so frightened that they scattered, leaving Hera standing alone, bewildered.

The older brother helped his younger brother up, then politely bowed to the instructor and apologized, "I'm sorry, instructor, my brother was a bit of a smart aleck. Please don't be angry."

The instructor's expression softened somewhat, and he looked at the black-haired boy before asking, "What's your name?"

"My name is Ye Yiqing." Ye Yiqing smiled politely.

The instructor nodded slightly, "Keep an eye on your brother!" Then he waved for them to leave.

Ye Yiqing nodded, then helped her younger brother walk away, but her brother still looked at the instructor with a defiant expression and secretly gave him the middle finger.

The instructor's lips twitched violently as he barely suppressed the urge to rush over and beat him up, turning to Hera.

What do you do?

ā€œI’m participating in training,ā€ Hera replied, standing as straight as possible.

"Then what are you still standing here for? Hurry up and go choose a dormitory and change into your military uniform."

"Yes." Hera stood still and looked at the instructor.

"Then go! What are you standing there for?" The instructor shouted at Hera when she was still standing there for a long time.

"Where is the dormitory?"

"..." The instructor was speechless for a moment when he saw Hera's calm face. Then he rubbed his forehead wearily and pointed in a direction.

"Thank you, sir. Goodbye." Hera forced a stiff smile that she and Si Xiaobei had practiced countless times as she thanked the instructor and then walked towards the dormitory.

"You should call him 'Instructor'." The instructor looked speechless.

Hera paused, stopped, and turned to the instructor. "Thank you, Instructor. Goodbye." Then she continued walking towards the dormitory.

"...Sigh, it seems this class will be difficult to manage..." the instructor sighed and muttered to himself.

Hera arrived at the girls' dormitory and began to choose a room. Hera arrived neither too early nor too late, so there were still many empty rooms. Hera wasn't too picky, so she just randomly picked a room with an empty space and went inside.

The dormitory is a two-person room, and the space is relatively large. Although it is not as good as the dormitory in the special investigation team, it is still acceptable.

Hera placed the prepared bedding and military uniform on the floor, then picked up the sheets and began to slowly make the bed.

She had been taught how to use Star Blue before, so Hera finished laying it out in no time.

After making the bed, Hera took off her coat and began to put on her military uniform.

After changing, Hera felt something was off about the uniform; it seemed too big for her.

But Hera didn't think too much about it and started packing other things.

"La la~ la~ la la~ la la hmm?!"

A girl skipped and hopped to the dormitory door. Through the window, she suddenly noticed Hera making her bed. Then, as if remembering something, she quickly cleared her throat.

She pushed open the door with a smile.

Hearing the noise, Hera stopped what she was doing and turned around.

"Hello, hello! My name is Han Keru! You can just call me Keke. Um, we'll be roommates from now on!" Keke shook Hera's hand and greeted her warmly.

Hera nodded blankly, then remembered that Si Xiaobei had taught her to state her name when meeting someone for the first time, so she began to speak somewhat incoherently.

"My name is Hera."

"Huh? Hera... that doesn't sound like a building name." Coco looked closely at Hera's appearance and then, combined with Hera's slurred speech, came to this conclusion.

"I see! You're a foreigner, right?"

Hera shook her head honestly.

Coco was taken aback. "That shouldn't be the case. You look quite Western, and your name sounds Western too. Plus, the way you speak is a bit strange. Maybe your parents are foreigners?"

Hera thought about it carefully.

Mom and Dad? Do I even have such a thing? Oh right, who are my parents? What gave birth to me? Hera lowered her head and pondered.

Hera felt her brain was no longer working properly.

Hera fell silent, thinking she had said something wrong, and quickly changed the subject.

"Uh, um... um, Hera, um, um..."

"Oh, right! Hera, what's your special ability?"

Hera raised her head, recalling Sun Hai's words, and replied expressionlessly, "I am a [Symbiotic], and my symbiotic partner is [HeLa Cells]."
