"Wow, Hera, you're amazing! You're number one!"
Coco looked at the word 'Hera' in the first place with envy in her eyes.
Then he looked at his ranking, which was over 100, and silently lowered his head.
Hera looked at her ranking, but felt nothing.
She continued down the rankings and saw a familiar name in second place: 'Ye Yiqing'.
Looking further down, after the third place is someone Hera doesn't recognize: 'Wang Canxin'.
"As expected of Ye Yiqing, he is truly a role model for us ordinary people!" Many new recruits began to discuss and praise him.
He's strong, handsome, and most importantly, gentle and kind.
Sigh~ It's a pity he spoiled his scumbag brother too much.
Suddenly, the recruit felt a chill down his spine, as if he were being stared at by a wild beast.
Beads of cold sweat slowly trickled down his face. He stiffly turned his head and saw Ye Ciqing staring at him with a half-smile.
At that moment, he had thought of his last words, and then a huge bag of genitals magnified wildly in his eyes.
The next second, he was slammed to the ground with a loud thud.
Ye Ciqing clapped his hands. "What do you mean, 'scumbag'? I call this unrestrained and carefree!"
Then he glanced at Hera, then at the notice board, and walked over curiously.
"Come on, let me see!"
He walked up to the notice board and looked at it with a smile, but when he saw that he hadn't even made it into the top five, he instantly lost interest.
Then he turned to look at the stunned Hera and Coco beside him, and gave them a mischievous grin.
"Oh~ Coco looks even prettier now, her figure is much better than before~" Ye Ciqing teased, making Coco blush.
Then Coco looked around, her eyes suddenly filled with doubt, "Where's Ye Yiqing? He's usually with you, why isn't he here today?"
"Hmm~? What's wrong? You seem pretty down because my brother's not here~"
"Ah! No, no! That's not what I meant!" Coco blushed and hurriedly waved her hand in denial.
Ye Ciqing laughed heartily, then turned and walked out of the crowd.
"Come with me for a moment~" He beckoned to Hera before leaving, signaling her to follow him.
Hera blinked, then followed.
Although Coco's eyes looked a little strange, she wasn't worried about Hera; she knew Ye Ciqing's personality to some extent.
Ye Ciqing didn't dare to make any moves on the people Ye Yiqing liked. He usually only dared to tease Coco, but he basically never teased Hera.
Ye Ciqing led Hera out of the crowd and to a secluded corner.
“Let me tell you, when the instructor takes you away and asks you where the [Mist Wolf] corpse went, just tell him, ‘A lot of vines suddenly sprouted from the ground and dragged it in.’”
Then if he asks you anything else, just reply with "uh-huh" or "yeah" to get by, understand?
As soon as the two stopped, Ye Ciqing turned around and said a lot to Hera.
Hera was completely stunned.
Seeing that Hera didn't answer, Ye Ciqing narrowed his right eye slightly, "Did you remember?"
“I’ve got it.” Hera nodded blankly.
Upon hearing this, Ye Ciqing waved his hand and then walked towards the dormitory.
"Remember this, don't forget it, or my brother will give me a piece of his mind when he comes out of the instructor's office later."
He then disappeared from Hera's sight.
Seeing him leave, Hera blinked her pink eyes and then prepared to walk back to her dormitory.
As soon as I stepped out of the corner, a well-mannered-looking recruit was standing right in front of me, seemingly waiting for me.
"Hello, my name is Wang Canxin. May I talk to you somewhere else?"
Wang Canxin greeted Hera, then pointed to the empty cafeteria next to him.
Hera: ?_??
She was stunned, truly stunned. Why were so many people trying to talk to her alone today?
Besides, Hera herself didn't know him. Although she had seen his name earlier, she really didn't have any connection with him.
What can you say?
Seeing that Hera remained unmoved, Wang Canxin seemed to have expected this and continued, "I know some of your secrets. The reason I brought you here is simply to make some deals."
"What kind of deal?" Hera asked.
"You'll know when you get here," Wang Canxin replied calmly.
Hera pondered for a moment, then nodded.
"Then please come with me." Wang Canxin then led Hera into the cafeteria.
Since it wasn't mealtime yet, there was no one in the cafeteria, not even the cafeteria staff.
Wang Canxin sat down in a rather awkward corner, patted the seat opposite him, and gestured for Hera to sit down as well.
Hera didn't say anything, and sat down as well.
"This is the only spot in the entire training camp that isn't covered by surveillance cameras, so I'll make do with it for a while."
“Oh.” Hera nodded.
After the two were seated, Wang Canxin spoke.
“Hera…right?” he asked.
"Mmm." Hera nodded obediently.
"You are [HeLa Cell], right?" Wang Canxin continued to ask.
“Mmm.” Hera continued to nod honestly. “I am a [Symbiotic], and my symbiotic partner is [HeLa Cells].
Wang Canxin shook his head slightly. "No, that's not what I meant. What I meant was..."
