Chapter 188 You Lied to Me Again

But Aycaren's words had no effect whatsoever.

Because they were all so engrossed in the awe of the immense power that Aycaren had displayed, they couldn't hear a word he was saying.

The bearded man was the first to react, quickly getting up from the ground. A semi-transparent trident appeared out of thin air in his hand, and he thrust it fiercely at Aikaren.

But he didn't seem to notice the pixelated heart.

The trident pierced through Aikalen's translucent body, and the bearded man's eyes widened.

"Can't you just listen to what I'm saying? I've already given you a chance, but you didn't seize it."

As Aikaren thought to himself, several ghostly white pixelated flames drifted toward the bearded man.

It floats very slowly, seemingly without any danger, making it easy to ignore.

Just as the bearded man noticed it, a will-o'-the-wisp had already drifted right in front of him.

He dared not be careless and raised his trident to block in front of him.

The white will-o'-the-wisp landed on the trident, instantly shattering the translucent trident. The powerful force sent the bearded, muscular man flying back several meters, knocking over the desk behind him.

"Why……"

Aikalen sighed very softly, and countless white will-o'-the-wisps floated out from around his body.

The raindrops, as dense as raindrops, approached the group.

At this point, everyone else also came to their senses and stood up.

Seeing the power and sheer density of the will-o'-the-wisps, I felt a sense of despair.

The bearded man stood up, glanced at the will-o'-the-wisp slowly approaching in front of him, and then at the wall to his side.

He clenched his fist in the air again, and a large hammer appeared out of thin air and was held in his hand.

Without hesitation, the bearded man slammed his fist into the wall, smashing a large hole through it as if it were made of paper.

"Run!"

The bearded man shouted and was the first to run out of the room from the cave.

The person quickly followed behind.

Fortunately, the will-o'-the-wisp wasn't very fast, and none of them were hurt.

Seeing the way the other person dodged, Aikaren was stunned for a moment, then scratched his head and cheek.

'I'm such an idiot! How could I not have thought they could break down the wall! Ugh, I was so cocky!'

Thinking this, the heart in front of him and himself flew out of the cave and caught up with the group.

The bearded men ran to the gym and, wielding sledgehammers, smashed them against the outer wall again.

In the instant of their exchange, he realized that with his 'extraordinary' strength, he could not possibly be a match for his opponent.

But just as the hammer was about to hit the wall...

Rows of pixelated bones rise from the wall, forming a protective shield around it.

The hammer slammed into the bone, and the bearded man felt a sharp pain in his hand, taking two steps back.

The bone that was hit only flickered twice and was not damaged.

The bearded man looked around again and found that the walls were all protected by these bones, and even the ceiling and floor were covered with them.

The pixelated bones filled the entire room, and for a moment, the scene actually felt somewhat comical.

But everyone present felt as if they had fallen into an ice cave.

"I'm giving you one last chance. If you choose to become the boss's men, you can live."

'Oh dear, this is the last chance! If they still don't know what's good for them this time, I'll really kill them.'

Aikaren silently swore an oath in his heart, his eyes fixed on the people in front of him.

The group seemed surprised that Aikalen would give them a chance; they exchanged glances and made eye contact.

Finally, as if they had reached some kind of consensus, they nodded at the same time.

"Okay, we can agree to become your boss's subordinates."

The bearded man nodded to Aikaren, while the blonde woman at the back quietly moved back.

The remaining people remained tense and did not seem to have relaxed yet.

"Are you really planning to surrender?"

Aikalen looked into the bearded man's eyes.

The bearded man nodded very sincerely, "Ah, of course, of course, who doesn't want to live?"

As he spoke, the bearded man even seemed a little ashamed, as if it were because he was about to betray the Night Stars.

If it were anyone else, they would probably believe it by now, but Aikaren is no ordinary person.

He could clearly see the lie in the bearded man's eyes.

He even saw a hint of self-mockery in his eyes.

'Are they mocking my naivety and kindness...? Ah, yes, they were always like that before.'

Aikalen lowered her head, lost in thought.

Seeing this, the bearded man thought that Aikaren had lowered her guard, and looked at the blonde woman who brought over a blood bag with some delight.

But then he saw the blonde woman's eyes widen in terror.

He quickly turned around and saw that four skulls resembling dragon heads had appeared beside Ekarenna, pointing at him.

The skull opened its mouth like a sophisticated machine.

Guh—!

Four thick, white laser beams shot out from it.

The bearded man's pupils contracted sharply, and he quickly dodged to the side.

However, this attack was different from the previous slow-moving attacks; the laser was incredibly fast.

The bearded man's left hand, which hadn't completely dodged, was instantly covered by laser light.

"Ah!" The bearded man screamed and fell to the ground.

His left hand had completely disappeared, and blood gushed out from the clean wound.

'Wait, no, we can't damage their limbs too much; Boss Hera still wants to eat them!'

Aika remembered and inwardly berated herself for her poor memory.
