Hera retorted in Japanese, raising her voice by two decibels.
Akahisa scratched his head, which Hera had hit.
Perhaps knowing she was in the wrong, she lowered her head and let Thoth come up on his own, instead of violently throwing him up like Ekaren and Hera did.
Just as Toth was about to go up, Chijiu's gaze caught sight of Will, who was still sitting in the car.
That brain, whose intelligence was second only to Hera's, worked rapidly, and then seemed to realize something.
With a gentle bite, it caught Tote, who was just about to climb up, and tossed him precisely into the car.
Tot sat in the car looking at Will in a daze. Before the two of them could figure out what was going on, Chi Jiu picked up the car in one bite and spread his arms.

This was the first time Ekaren had ever seen such obvious emotion in Hera's eyes.
