Chapter 270: The Ending Sentiment of Volume Two (You can skip this if you don't want to read it)

Hmm... Volume 2 is finished. How should I put it...

I personally feel that the second volume is not well written; it's very painful for me to write it myself.

Sigh, I can only blame myself for this.

After all, when I was writing the second volume, I only had a very rough outline.

I basically just write whatever comes to mind. (doge)

The second volume mainly focused on enhancing Hera's power and refining the world's lore.

For example, this volume focuses on the "Five Calamities," which is one of the most important parts of it.

This also reveals Hera's identity; she is also one of the Five Calamities.

But Hera has many more secrets waiting to be discovered; this is only a part of what Hera has to reveal.

This only reveals the tip of the iceberg regarding the world's worldview; the next volume will likely fully reveal the entire world.

Then there are the same problems as in the previous volume.

The main character has too little screen time.

Well...

It can only be said that Shao Shao is too incompetent, because Hera has no emotions, and many plot points require emotion to drive them forward.

Of course, it's not that being overly rational means there's no story to tell; it just means a slight lack of ability.

After all, he's just a novelist who's been writing for less than a year; he's still a newcomer.

(;_;)

However, I will definitely put a lot of thought into the plot of the next volume and increase Hera's role in it.

Shao Shao will continue to work hard!

The character development and descriptions in this volume are somewhat good, but not quite perfect.

Take Hera, for example.

Sigh... I can only say that I, as the author, have failed Hera, the protagonist.

Despite being the main character, he felt like a tool used to advance the plot.

My writing about her emotional changes was also terrible. Although I improved my writing skills, I still managed to portray her as very frustrated.

As for the character design, everyone has probably already noticed.

Hera inherited some of Star Blue's chuunibyou (delusional) tendencies and narcissism, but lost some of her naivety and cuteness.

There's nothing inherently wrong with it; it's just that my writing was too abrupt, and the transition wasn't natural enough.

Sigh, it's true, I feel like Shao Shao is losing confidence and has less and less motivation to write novels.

If it weren't for the fact that the royalties are enough for me to survive, I probably wouldn't have wanted to write anymore.

Sigh, never mind, I've gone off on a tangent.

Ahem, next up is about Aikalen.

As you can probably all recognize, Shao Shao even dedicated several pages to describing him.

To be honest, Shao Shao is quite confident in his public persona.

Socially anxious, withdrawn, and insecure, yet kind-hearted.

His feelings for Hera were also extremely complex.

Even Aikalen doesn't know whether her feelings for Hera are love or admiration.

Another issue is his combat strength.

Based on conversations with them on the ground, we can roughly determine that Aikalen's strength is above 'Star Power', but not yet at its limit.

But I personally feel that he has a pretty good grasp of his combat capabilities, and he shouldn't collapse in the future.

Probably...

There's not much to say about the other people.

And the character in this volume, "The Four Seasons," is arguably the most important.

At the same time, through them, I also want to express that not all alien species are heartless.

The word "autumn" is a typical example of this.

Unwilling to give up her physical body for the sake of her beloved, she ultimately fell to her death.

I don't really know much about love, since I've never been in a relationship and have never been in one since I was born.

But I think love shouldn't be defined.

I believe that as long as two people love each other, it is love, and there is no such thing as a forbidden love.

Just like Yi Xue and Ji Xue, one is human, and the other is a different species.

But they still loved each other, not caring about the opinions of others, and were even willing to give their lives for each other.

Oh, right, I have something to say here.

That's right, Gu Gongming doesn't like Ji Xue at all, that was just Brown joking.

Gu Gongming said he would only give unconditionally to the people he liked because he was too proud to admit it.

That makes sense, because he likes everyone in the team!

Haha, speaking of which, the [Godslayer] team should have brought quite a shock to all of you readers.

Especially Shunos in it (evil grin)

I don't know if you initially thought he was a man or a woman.

In this squad.

Brown is a captain who seems like a thug.

Lei Yong, a vice-captain with a system.

A domineering CEO, Gu Gongming.

A magical girl and her autistic older sister, Dream Fulfillment and Dream Wish.

A strange creature and its little wife, Ji Xue and Yi Xue.

And, Shunos, who is physiologically male but psychologically female.

Each of them has their own story, and they are not stepping stones for Hera's power.

And as you've also noticed, almost all of the strongest among them possess outrageous superpowers.

In contrast, the power of the Five Calamities is simply pure power, which is the biggest difference between humans and other species.

As before, if you encounter any problems, just @ me, and I will generally correct them and reply.

If you have any suggestions regarding unreasonable plot points or writing style, please feel free to @ me.

Please tag me if you can; I'm unlikely to see comments that are just comments.

But remember, don't tag people just for pranks, or you'll get a little upset.
