Chapter 2 The White-Haired Girl

After becoming an ant, [HeLa Cell] tried to take a few steps, but ended up doing a forward roll.

After finally managing to stand up again, his body began to twist and turn strangely, making him look like he was about to die.

After twisting and turning in that dark way for almost ten minutes, the HeLa cells slowly mastered the technique.

It slowly lifted its foot, then slowly lowered it again, walking slowly, one step at a time (though there were no actual footprints).

At first, it walked very slowly, and its gait was strange; sometimes it even staggered.

However, gradually, once you get used to it, the speed will increase.

HeLa cells, with the body of an ant, began to explore the land.

In the days that followed, the HeLa cell lived in the form of an insect for a very long time, the exact duration of which it could not even remember.

But it's been at least two weeks.

It remembers that its form has also undergone many changes. The longest period of time was when it ate an earthworm and thought that the thing was big, so it turned into an earthworm as well.

Then it felt that the surface was too brittle, and it had almost been scorched to death by the sun before, so it grew a hard shell on its exterior, just like an ant's.

The outer shell had grown, so it also grew ant legs and mouthparts, making it look quite like a centipede, except that it was cylindrical.

It even found an ant colony and lived there with the ants for a long time. That was the first time HeLa cells experienced the feeling of belonging to a group.

It's nothing really, it just feels very convenient, and sometimes you can get something for nothing.

However, that period of life is indeed worth remembering.

Later, while hunting with ants, it encountered a snake.

This is the first time I've ever seen such a large organism as HeLa cells.

Given such a large size difference, HeLa cells unsurprisingly lost and were swallowed by the opponent.

If it weren't for the fact that they had encountered a poisonous insect before and replicated its abilities, the HeLa cells probably wouldn't have been able to kill the snake so easily from inside its belly.

In the process of devouring the snake, the HeLa cells also continuously increased in size to withstand the immense energy required.

However, when it grew to a certain size, it discovered that its body could not support such a large weight.

It seems that insects do have physical limitations.

So the HeLa cells stopped being insects and turned directly into a pool of black, viscous substance, which then slowly transformed into a black snake.

This body adapted quite quickly, probably because its form is very similar to its previous form.

After swallowing all the remaining corpses, the HeLa cell wriggled its body and prepared to leave.

Before leaving, it took one last look at the remaining few ants, as if bidding farewell to its previous life living with them, and then left without looking back.

Slowly crawling out of the ground, the warm sunlight shone on the earth, and also on the surface of the [HeLa cell], which had become a black snake.

Feeling the sunlight, the HeLa cells, having experienced something before, wanted to avoid it, but then felt the warmth.

This put its mind at ease once again.

It moved its dark body, carving a tunnel through the lush green grass, aimlessly exploring the unknown future.

Then, after exploring for a while, the first prey encountered by the [HeLa Cell] was not found, but rather the prey discovered it first and then took the initiative to provoke it.

It looked like a dog, but we still don't know what breed it was. Anyway, it was a large dog with a yellowish-black body.

Upon seeing the HeLa cell transformed into a black snake, the black dog was first startled, then bared its teeth as if angry, and let out a low growl.

As for the final result...

HeLa cells glanced at the black dog, whose neck they had wrapped around and which was still struggling slightly, and tightened their grip on it again.

The black dog flailed its limbs a few times, then fell silent.

It flicked its tongue and slowly loosened its grip on the black dog's body, circling it once and constantly sizing up the dog's size.

Finally, the HeLa cell stopped at the dog's head, then slowly opened its cherry-like mouth and began to swallow it from its nose.

The black snake's mouth was stretched to an unbelievable size, as if it would burst open at any moment. But no matter how big it was stretched, the mouth showed no signs of breaking, just like rubber. Instead, it grew bigger and bigger.

After it swallowed the whole dog, it was so bloated that it looked like a snakeskin sack filled with stuff from a distance.

HeLa cells moved their bodies with difficulty a couple of times, then lay still in place, while the black dog inside them was being digested at a visible rate.

It was completely digested in just a moment and turned into the energy of [HeLa cells].

It also grew from a small snake less than a meter long into a large black snake as thick as a thigh and nearly two meters long.

It tried to move forward, but found that due to its enormous size, and the fact that the HeLa cells did not twist and turn like a real snake, it was now moving at an extremely slow speed.

Since it's slow, let's just change its form.

Its enormous body began to slowly melt, turning back into a large, black, viscous liquid, which then coalesced into a ball.

The black liquid writhed continuously, like a silkworm about to emerge from its cocoon.

The liquid slowly shaped itself, gradually becoming the shape of the dog it had just swallowed, only larger and more ferocious-looking.

[HeLa Cells] raised its paw, took a sudden step forward, and then fell hard.

Well, it seems I'll have to get used to it for a while, after all, this is the first time it's transformed into a creature that walks on all fours.

Half an hour later, the HeLa cell, which had fully adapted to the body, took light steps and looked around with its head raised.

This body is so convenient to use. Although I can't dig holes, I can run and walk quite fast and it saves a lot of energy. It's completely different from my previous body.

It lowered its head, nibbled at the lush green grass on the ground, swallowed it, and continued searching for food.

After passing through a thicket of bushes, a large tree came into view not far away, and next to the tree there seemed to be a clump of white, which looked like it was still alive.

The HeLa cell slowly approached, the tree gradually magnified in its eyes, and the patch of white became clearer and clearer until finally, a beautiful girl appeared before it.
