Chapter 296 Bewildered

Hera was certain that this was the most terrifying creature she had ever seen in her entire life.

There are several kinds of fears among humans.

But the most primal fear is the fear of the unknown...

The creature in front of them, which could see nothing but its two eyes, clearly met the criteria for being unknown.

At the same time, it perfectly meets the two major fear elements of thalassophobia and megalophobia.

If it weren't for her clear mind constantly protecting her spirit, Hera would have fainted from fright just one glance.

"Holy crap!!! Holy crap!!! How did it get out?! What have you two been doing?!"

The sea dinosaur, too, gazed at the slowly approaching Titan Shark behind it and let out a series of heart-wrenching screams.

"Big brother!!! I'm just a kid trying to pass the postgraduate entrance exam, I don't mean any harm, please don't chase after me!"

He shouted this, and the huge figure behind him seemed to understand!

The massive, sky-covering body paused slightly before continuing to lunge towards them with its gaping maw.

"Damn it, let me go... If this keeps up, I'll eat you all too..."

Haidingyu said, on the verge of tears.

However, those honest hands were still gripping Nangong Wu's ankles tightly, as if they were an extension of his body.

"Could you please not pull so tight! It's affecting my speed!"

Nangong Wu shook his leg in annoyance, but Haidingyu still clung to him like a stubborn leech.

If they weren't so different because of their language barrier, they would probably be exchanging heated insults right now.

The Titan Shark behind him was like an abyss that devoured everything, obliterating all objects in its path.

Despite this terrifying sense of oppression, Hera's peach-pink eyes seemed to be drawn by some force, unable to look away from the other person no matter how hard she tried.

It's so big...

He should be able to swallow himself whole...

How terrifying...

You'll definitely be able to eat your fill...

!

A terrifying thought flashed through Hera's mind, and she covered her head with one hand in horror.

I can hardly believe that those were my own thoughts.

Why don't we just stop running and fight them directly...?

Another terrifying thought abruptly entered Hera's mind, while an absurdly strong sense of excitement, as if it had a physical form, lingered in her veins.

It's like... one's own body is yearning for battle, wanting to kill.

"roar--!!!"

A deafening roar erupted from the latter's abyss-like maw, sending a powerful sonic boom crashing towards the three.

Nangong Wu's expression changed, and he suddenly clenched his hands together, compressing the seawater to its limit to form a barrier that protected the three of them inside.

The sonic boom struck the barrier, causing the hard barrier to vibrate violently like jelly. Even though it blocked most of the power, the powerful sound waves still made Haidingyu and Nangong Wu dizzy.

The raging torrent that was dragging the three of them stopped briefly, and then quickly picked up speed again after Nangong Wu regained his senses.

But even after just a short pause, the Titan Shark behind them had already closed the distance considerably.

Furthermore, as the distance shortened, Nangong Wu could clearly feel that the resistance they faced in moving forward was constantly increasing.

It's like seawater becoming thick.

It's a problem with the fog!

Looking at the eerily quiet smog around him, Nangong Wu realized the problem: it was the smog that was creating obstacles for them!

If you were to look at this under a microscope, you would discover that these microorganisms that make up smog are actually tiny sharks!

As Nangong Wu felt the powerful aura approaching step by step, cold sweat soaked his entire body.

With a thought, a massive stone pillar rose from the ground, blocking the Titan Shark's path.

The Titan Shark smashed it to pieces, and then several more rocks, either from the ground or from the adjacent cliffs, blocked its path.

Seeing that the other party had slowed down a little, Nangong Wu relaxed a bit and quickly rummaged through a strange bag.

"No...no...no..."

One strange thing after another was taken out of this small bag.

There's a toilet plunger, a Rolex, a barbecue grill, and even a big bed!

These things were left behind like trash, disappearing into that enormous, black hole-like maw.

Finally, Nangong Wu's face lit up with joy, and he pulled out a watch that emitted a pale purple glow.

The watch has a very unique appearance, and the material looks like it is carved from individual crystals.

"Hold on tight! We're going to teleport away!"

Nangong Wu held the watch as if he held the whole world in his hands, and his face behind the mask smiled extremely brightly.

"You big idiot, go back to eating dirt by yourself!"

He patted the Titan Shark's rear end provocatively, and a small, fair hand suddenly landed on his wrist, where he was holding a watch.

He glanced over instinctively and saw Hera's stunning beauty.

"Hmm...don't worry, I'll take you right away..."

Click!

The sound of bones breaking was like a heavy hammer blow to the other person's heart. His thick arm was actually snapped by that small hand that looked like it could break at the slightest touch!

The pain that penetrated to the very core caused his hand to go numb, and the watch he was holding fell to the bottomless sea.

"Ah!" Several seconds passed before Nangong Wu finally realized reality and curled up in pain.
