Lying on the obviously newly bought Chinese-style bed, Hera waved to Aikaren, who was standing helplessly beside her.
Aikaren, who was staring blankly at Hera lying on the bed, suddenly trembled, swallowed hard, and walked over.
"What's wrong, boss..."
"Food."
Aikalen was stunned for a moment, then quickly realized that Hera just wanted to eat.
His gaze swept around before settling on the large double-door refrigerator.
He hurried forward to prepare food for Hera.
Having a lackey is really helpful.
Hera lay in bed looking at Ekaren, her heart filled with emotion.
Although Hera wouldn't mind the trouble, why should she do it herself when others can help her carry things?
With the idea of saving every bit of energy, Hera decided to have Ekaren run the errand.
After all, the battle with the ground had almost completely exhausted Hera's energy, and she estimated that her current strength was less than half of what it was before she fought the ground.
If I had actually fought with Ye Linwan back then, I probably would have been slapped into cells by her.
Fortunately, Hera's act was convincing enough. She used all her strength to poke at the two tentacles that were poking at Ye Yiqing and the others, thus fooling them all.
It's true that being emotionless has its advantages; if Hera could feel fear, she probably would have wet herself by now.
I just don't know how much food is here, or how much energy Hera can recover.
Clang—
A noise came from the side, instantly pulling Hera back from her wandering thoughts.
He turned his head and looked over there.
Inside the open double-door refrigerator, piles of meat rolled out, forming a small mountain.
Aikalen stood in front of the mountain of flesh, her mouth agape in astonishment.
Hera's eyes lit up immediately, because she could sense that this was not ordinary meat.
Among these meats were both alien species and humans, and their cultivation levels were all quite high.
With such a large refrigerator, it's not just possible to restore it to its peak condition, but it can certainly reach the limits of human combat power.
"Bring them all to me."
Hera opened her arms as she spoke, and Ekaren's eyes twitched. She picked up a pile of cut frozen meat and gently placed it into Hera's arms.
After all, Ekaren didn't have Hera's ability to sense cells, so she just thought it was ordinary meat. She was just a little shocked by the sheer amount of it.
Hera ate while Ekaren hugged her, and soon the entire refrigerator was piled high with meat, filling the entire bed.
Hera was surrounded by a pile of meat, and after eating one piece, she picked up another and started gnawing on it.
Hera tore off a large piece of the frozen, rock-hard meat as easily as if it were a cookie, and stuffed it into her mouth.
"Boss, how about I heat it up for you?"
"Need not."
"Oh, okay."
With nothing left to do, Aikalen suddenly felt a little lost. After standing there for a while, she prepared to leave.
"Okay, boss, I'm going back to my room now..."
Hera stopped chewing, pulled herself out of the pile of meat, and sat up.
"You don't have a room, where can you go?"
"Huh?" A look of surprise flashed across Ekalen's eyes.
“You’re not from the Light God Society, so they didn’t know you were coming and definitely didn’t prepare a room for you.”
Hera said this while stuffing meat into her mouth.
"But if you talk to them, they should be able to arrange it for you."
"Uh, then forget it."
The thought of having to ask someone to book a room for her made Aikaren's forehead break out in a thick sweat.
"Okay, then you can lie down on the sofa."
Upon hearing this, Aikaren looked around the entire room and couldn't help but marvel at how large the room truly was.
The spaciousness is so great you could even play a game of basketball.
The sofas on both sides are even larger than some single beds, so one person can sleep comfortably in one bed.
Hera was gnawing on the meat, just about to lie down in its embrace, when her little head seemed to remember something, and she suddenly stood up.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
Aycaren, who was just about to sit on the sofa, was startled and quickly stood up again.
Hera jumped off the bed, took a few steps to Ekaren, and reached for his pants.
"Hey, boss, what are you doing?!"
Upon seeing Hera's actions, Ekalen froze, too afraid to move, her face burning hot, turning as red as an apple.
My heart was pounding, but there was also a tiny bit of anticipation.
Her jade-like little hand reached into Aikaren's pocket, rummaged around for a bit, and pulled out a cicada that looked like it was made of gold...
"Huh?" Aikalen was taken aback.
"Wake up, wake up."
Hera placed the small golden worm in her palm and poked the other person's head with her other finger.
Seeing that Hera only wanted to take out the little phantom from her pocket, Ekaren felt a pang of disappointment.
He thought Hera was going to...
No, what am I even imagining?
"Wake up, Xiao Huan, don't sleep."
After Hera poked it hundreds of times, Xiao Huan's translucent wings finally trembled.
Then, the entire worm stood up shakily, and at the same time, a somewhat sharp and comical sound rang out in my mind.
"You brat, didn't I tell you I need to sleep for a week? Why are you waking me up again?!"
Xiao Huan didn't even see who was in front of her before she spread her wings and crashed into them.
Then Hera bit him into her mouth.
"Why?!"
"You've gone too far! You dare to bite me! Believe me, when you go to another country, I won't translate for you; I'll leave you to fend for yourself!"
