Star Hair Salon.
"Okay, your hair is done."
Feng Xuan put the scissors aside, reached out, and gently patted the sleeping guest awake.
The guest shuddered, opened his eyes, and looked at himself in the mirror.
He then fell into deep thought.
He turned his head and looked at Feng Xuan beside him, his eyes filled with three parts confusion, six parts disbelief, and one part anger.
He pointed to his hair, "I think I said I wanted to get the same middle part as my brother, right?"
"Yes, that's right." Feng Xuan nodded, picked up a towel, and wiped his hands.
"Then look at this! What kind of haircut did you give me?!"
"A traitor's head with a middle parting?!"
Looking at himself in the mirror, the customer's face turned bright red; he looked like a traitor if he only had a tuft of beard on his philtrum.
Feng Xuanzi shrugged indifferently, "Don't always blame others. What if it's a problem with your hair?"
"You, you, you!"
"No, I only charged you 15 yuan. If you exchanged an appliance next door, they would charge you 150 yuan. You get what you pay for, have you ever heard of that?"
The customer was speechless, and eventually left dejectedly after scanning 15 yuan.
"Anyway, I'm not short of money, but I have too many problems."
Feng Xuan plopped down on the sofa, opened his phone, and started playing games.
The aroma of food wafted from the kitchen, while the basement echoed with the usual sounds of clattering and banging.
"Brother Nanming, I'll help you."
Si Xiaobei helped Nanming carry the food, and soon the table was filled with delicious dishes that whetted the appetite.
"You've worked hard." Nanming gently patted Si Xiaobei's head, took off his apron, and sat down at the dining table with him.
Seeing that all the food had arrived, Feng Xuan decisively ignored his teammates' terrible cooking on his phone, turned it off, and stood up.
"Xinglan, Captain, Gorilla! Dinner's ready!"
A loud voice traveled through the basement passageway into the basement, where there was a lot of clattering and clanging.
The intense fighting below suddenly stopped, followed by Xinglan, propelled by the wings behind her, pouncing forward as if she hadn't eaten for 10 years.
"I'm starving! Wow, there's so much delicious food!"
Her eyes sparkled as she excitedly gazed at the table laden with delicious food, her hands resting on the table, though a hint of loneliness suddenly flashed across her face.
"What's wrong? I feel like you're acting weird every time we eat together."
Feng Xuan sat next to Xing Lan and keenly sensed her strange behavior.
Xinglan scratched her face and sat down. "I don't know either, I just feel like something's missing."
"We're all here, is there anything else we need?"
Xinglan slumped onto the table, looking at Sun Hai who was arriving late from the basement, and began to complain.
"Captain...when are we going to recruit another female member for our team? I don't feel right if I don't sleep with someone by my side every night!"
For some reason, Feng Xuan blushed silently, as if he were lost in thought.
This drew a roll of the eyes from Liu Xiaogang, who was wiping his sweat as he walked over.
"The Night Stars are already short-staffed, and we are already a full-fledged investigation team, so there is no need to recruit new members."
Sun Hai replied casually, sitting down in his seat, "Alright, let's eat."
"oh……"
Ding ding ding—
Just then, a soft knock sounded from the glass door of the barbershop.
Xinglan raised her eyes and looked in the direction of the sound.
Through the transparent glass door, I saw a white-haired girl standing there, looking somewhat embarrassed, holding the hand of a pure white wolf.
Xinglan excitedly stood up abruptly, flew past the dining table to the door, and opened the glass door.
Then he gave the girl in white a hug.
"Hera! Long time no see! I missed you so much! How are your grades lately?"
"Thank goodness, I'm still first in the grade. Sister Xinglan, you're hugging me too tight..."
"Hehe, I know."
Xinglan released her hand and then noticed a very docile-looking white wolf sitting at Hera's feet.
"Hey, when did you get your dog? It's so well-behaved."
As he spoke, he placed his hand on the wolf's head and stroked it.
"What dog? This is a wolf!" Feng Xuan walked over speechlessly.
"Huh?" Xinglan scratched her head, bent down, and looked closely at the white wolf.
Surprisingly, the wolf's pupils were pink!
For some reason, they seem a bit dazed or blank.
When the white wolf saw Xinglan's face approaching, it proactively rubbed its face against hers.
Xinglan was so happy that she hugged the white wolf and petted it hard.
Sun Hai then walked over and asked, "So you came to us because you have something to ask of us?"
Hera clasped her hands together a little shyly and nodded slightly.
"Yes, it's this white wolf. I saw it on my way home from school."
"At first I thought it was a dog, so I didn't pay attention, but it kept following me."
"They even grabbed my pants and pulled me here."
Upon hearing this, Sun Hai frowned slightly, looking at the white wolf with a hint of wariness in his eyes.
"Would a normal wolf have such high intelligence? Could this be a mutant?"
Xinglan, who was still stroking the white wolf, paused slightly upon hearing this, then excitedly lit up with little stars around her.
"I understand! This alien species chose me and wants to sign a contract with me!"
“…” Sun Hai rubbed his forehead speechlessly. “Xing Lan, can’t you be serious for once?”
Xinglan explained with a serious yet excited expression.
"Captain, look, Hera is just like us. She seemed to be dead, but then she suddenly came back to life and forgot some of her memories."
