Chapter 148 Three Bodies as King

Chapter 148 Three Bodies as King

Canglan Jun laughed and said, "Brother Zuo, make an isolation barrier. My time is almost up. Now that I have met some extraordinary young friends, I want to have a good chat with them and enjoy myself for a while."

“The Divine Lord cannot stay here indefinitely. This place… this is not a temple; it cannot support your divine body,” Shan Zuo said in a muffled voice.

"I'll stay for a while, then I'll go back."

Yamazuo nodded, then erected a precarious isolation barrier.

Upon seeing this, the Canglan Divine Lord smiled slightly. He slowly wrote divine characters on the inner wall of the cover with his tiger claws and said, "Brother Zuo, I will write it again. Watch carefully." The Canglan Divine Lord stopped writing after writing thirteen divine characters.

Looking at Jiao Jue and his group, Shan Shui summoned them to his seat and recounted his birth in detail with great reminiscence. He said, "You will certainly not understand why I am telling you these things."

Since I became a god, I have known how I would die; but I still have things to accomplish and do not want to die.

I have performed these predictions tens of thousands of times in the past, and each time they ended in death and the demise of one's soul. But now that you have come, I have discovered that the outcome of these predictions has changed...

The deity sat on his throne, speaking eloquently, while Ji Rong sat to the side, her eyes filled with longing.

Ji Rong felt close to this divine throne last time, and now that she is so close, she feels even more that this divine throne is extraordinary.

The God Throne seems to think so too.

A slender branch grew from the base of the throne. Instead of circling the throne, it grew out following Ji Rong's gaze.

The tender buds quickly turned green before Ji Rong's eyes and a flower bloomed. Ji Rong couldn't help but touch the flower.

Upon contact, an unexpected phenomenon occurred: the divine throne rapidly burrowed into Ji Rong's body.

Countless roots sprouted from Ji Rong's body, embracing the divine throne.

Upon seeing this strange phenomenon, the Divine Lord Canglan immediately sat up.

As soon as He stood up, He saw the divine throne heading towards Ji Rong, gradually disappearing into Ji Rong's body.

Thick roots sprouted from Ji Rong's feet. These roots were strong and powerful, and they seemed to be alive as they desperately pushed downwards, pounding against Canglan Shenjun's isolation barrier like raindrops.

The spiritual energy in the air gathered together and surged towards Ji Rong.

Ji Rong's consciousness began to blur.

In a daze, she saw a little phoenix hatch in the center of the Canglan Mountains. It was born with intelligence and was a primordial deity nurtured by this mountain range. It planted the seed that was stuck to its shell and it grew into a phoenix tree...

Seeing that the spiritual energy in the air was gone, Ji Rong's fur became increasingly dull, and its skin gradually showed wood grain.

Gu Qingqing and Ji Zhuang disregarded everything else and took out their storage rings to pile spirit crystals under Ji Rong's roots. Jiao Jue also took out a huge storage ring and poured it onto Ji Rong's roots.

After pouring out the spirit crystals, Jiao Jue walked up and pulled the god, who was standing there dumbfounded like a statue, forward, saying, "God Lord, please open the spirit flow to help Ji Rong stabilize the ancestral tree within her body."

The divine sense of Canglan Jun, which was immersed in divination, was interrupted and recalled. Upon hearing this, he muttered incantations, and soon a stream of spiritual energy surged from the ground and entered Ji Rong's body.

With the infusion of spiritual energy, Ji Rong's complexion gradually returned to normal, and her mind was no longer dazed. It gathered again in her forehead, throbbing continuously, and seemed to be splitting into three.

Seeing this, Shan Zuo felt uneasy. He paced anxiously to the side and said, "Divine Lord, the divine throne has been given away, so why send away the spirit stream? What will you do?"

Canglan Divine Lord stretched out his tiger claw and patted the little brother's head, saying, "It's alright. I am a born deity, and any seat I sit on can be a divine seat."

"Since your nephew has such good fortune, I, as his elder, will certainly do my utmost."

Upon hearing this, Shan Zuo felt frustrated and regretful for his previous hasty acceptance of Ji Rong. Consequently, he began to look at Gu Qingqing and Ji Zhuang with hostility.

Ji Rong quickly absorbed the ancient phoenix tree divine wood seat of Canglan Jun, and with the help of Canglan Jun's spiritual flow, her roots became thicker and stronger, and the four main roots under her body quickly grew from the size of hemp thread to half a meter wide.

A similar dramatic change was taking place within her body; her spiritual center was constantly expanding outwards, making the woman in the colorful feathered robes with her beautiful face appear to be gradually shrinking.

The sacred tree and the spirit lake she held in her hands grew larger and larger until the woman could no longer support them, so she gently placed them at the feet of nothingness.

“Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle…” A series of sounds piercing through the barrier came from Ji Rong’s spiritual platform. The divine tree continued to grow, branching out and sprouting leaves, with as many as ten branches.

The spiritual lake beneath the sacred tree grew larger and larger, and the spiritual currents within the lake scattered and surged forth, soon opening up countless tiny tributaries within Ji Rong's body.

The spirit on Ji Rong's forehead seemed to have finally completed its differentiation. One of them went towards the divine tree, one flew into the woman's forehead, and one imprinted itself into Ji Rong's bird skull.

As soon as this consciousness entered her body, the Dao Pill within Ji Rong's spiritual platform began to swirl rapidly. Suddenly, it split into three and flew towards the three bodies, merging into them.

The three bodies and three souls, each body being a manifestation of the Dao, are truly wondrous.

High in the sky, one thunderbolt after another exploded towards Tiger-shaped Mountain, as if to raze the place to the ground. Ji Rong was about to undergo tribulation and become a king.

Canglan Jun removed the isolation barrier and led Jiao Jue and his group to stand on a nearby hilltop to watch Ji Rong undergo her tribulation.

Ji Rong was cleaved a total of nineteen times, each time with blood flowing all over the ground and the wounds revealing bone;

Each lightning strike left Ji Rong with only a sliver of life left; then, branches and leaves bearing divine patterns would sprout from her body, quickly smoothing out the wounds.

After going back and forth nineteen times, all the lightning above was exhausted, and Ji Rong's momentum suddenly soared.

A woman emerged from Ji Rong's body, followed by a colorful bird that flew out, leaving behind a tree that seemed to grow in the air.

At first glance, the tree appears small; but upon closer inspection, it is as if one has fallen into a golden ocean of knowledge.

Ji Zhuang and Gu Qingqing were captivated by the golden light emanating from the tree after only a second glance. The observant Canglan Divine Lord, noticing their attention was drawn in, reached out his tiger paw and patted their heads, bringing them back to their senses.

The woman and the bird glanced at the tree, then looked at each other.

The woman plucked the lowest branch from the tree, used it to tie up her hair above, and asked the bird, "Who are you?"

The bird smiled, flew up, pecked a leaf from the branch in the woman's hair and stuck it on itself, then pulled out two tail feathers, one to pin on the woman's feathered robe and the other to the broken end of the branch. It said, "I am naturally you, and you are naturally me."

He then pointed to the tree and said, "It is you and me, yet it is not you and me."

The woman clapped her hands and laughed, "That's how it should be."

He then walked over to the tree, grasped it, and shook it.

The tree shrank at will, and she used it to tie the remaining hair onto her previous hair, so that she could face the colorful bird opposite her and become one with it.

Ji Rong then opened her eyes. This time, as a queen, her appearance remained unchanged, but her inner self had undergone a great transformation.

This time, she reigned as a queen in all three forms.

"I've made a fortune!"

"That's right!"

"This spiritual energy is so comfortable!"

Feeling the interaction between the three divine thoughts within her body, Ji Rong was overjoyed; she spread her wings and flew rapidly in the sky, a clear and melodious voice coming from her throat, which soon attracted hundreds of birds to watch.

She stopped singing, looked at the birds, and with a simple shake of her head, they scattered and flew away again.
