Chapter 378 Ice Walk

Leng Hezhong quickly replied, "Divine Lord, the six divine beasts are all well. This is your first time visiting my Ice River Cave Heaven, and you and my young friend Ji are here. Please have some food first, and I will take you there later."

Enveloped in this chill, Ji Rong felt as if her flesh and blood were frozen solid. She could no longer feel the cold, nor could she move. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw an ice chain pulling them through the crystal-clear walls of the cold river without any obstruction.
Along the way, Ji Rong saw many creatures of different shapes and sizes, standing in various poses. Some looked frightened, some seemed to be fast asleep, and some had smiles on their faces...
As Ji Rong watched, she gradually lost her thoughts and senses, becoming like a true ice sculpture, with only the landscape on her body still radiating a warm, earthy yellow light.
She didn't know how much time had passed when Ji Rong suddenly regained consciousness. Her eyes moved and she saw the cold air on her body turn into wisps and flow into the open mouth in the cold river.
Ji Rong looked around and found that they had arrived in a huge ice cave. At the corner of the cave was a small cold spring, full of spiritual energy. Various creatures were sealed on the cave walls. Beside the cold spring stood a piece of cold jade with the words "Ice Prison" written on it.
The creature scratched the ice surface with its claws in the cold river, its body radiating cold air. Then, all the creatures in the ice revealed their faces. The creatures were layered on top of each other, and there were a huge number of them.
Leng Hezhong pointed to the sealed creatures and said, "Mountain and Water God, which of these are your subordinate gods? I will take them down now."

With each utterance from the mountains and rivers, a piece of ice would be lifted from the ice layer by the icy chains in the cold river and dragged out, falling into the cold spring.

Ji Rong nodded and took out six of them, giving them to Leng Hezhong. Leng Hezhong then used the ice chains to fish out the six divine beasts one by one and threw them into the spirit sack.

After leaving the ice prison and returning to the cave, Leng Hezhong ordered his fish-headed cultivators to set up six more small tables, each filled with ice flowers and frost, to accommodate the newly released divine beasts.
Ji Rong and Shan Shui sat down again. Leng He Zhong picked up the ice chain and sucked it onto the ice block that sealed the divine beasts. Wisps of cold air spread from the ice chain to Leng He Zhong's head. Ji Rong felt that the immortal lord's hair seemed to have grown a little more.
As the cold air was absorbed by the frigid river, the six ice blocks shattered one by one. Once freed from the ice's constraints, they screamed and leaped about, trying to find an exit on the solid ice surface to escape.
Seeing this scene, Leng Hezhong couldn't help but frown again.
Shan Shui stood up and said gently, "You lot, are you frozen stiff? Why don't you come and pay your respects when you see me?"
Hearing the sound, the mountain fox looked up and saw the Mountain and Water God with his head on the earthen bowl. He immediately grabbed the mountain bear who was still stamping his feet and called out, "Sisters, don't run away, your eldest brother is here."
