Chapter 261 Extra: Tan Cheng x Cen Wenxing (13)

Chapter 261 Extra: Tan Cheng x Cen Wenxing (13)

Before the torrential rain arrived, strong winds howled.

Tan Cheng could barely walk steadily or quickly, and if he wasn't careful, the wind would push him off his original path.

The wind also blurred the view.

He stumbled and walked quite a distance before he saw Cen Wenxing walking back.

He held his violin tightly as he struggled forward in the fierce wind.

"Star!"

Cen Wenxing struggled to look up and saw Tan Cheng. He was so stunned that he almost got swept away by the wind.

Tan Cheng's heart stopped in fright. For a moment, he forgot he was in a raging wind and ran desperately toward him. He stumbled and fell, hitting his previous wound. Ignoring the pain, he quickly got up. He hugged Cen Wenxing tightly when he bumped into him.

The violin case was stuck between the two of them, and it hurt a lot.

Cen Wenxing: "What are you doing here?!"

His voice was loud, but it wasn't very clear in the wind.

"You're outside."

Cen Wenxing was slightly taken aback and looked up at him.

His eyes were full of worry.

Cen Wenxing sighed, "What help can you be? I'll still have to walk back myself! It's just a matter of one more person dying!"

Tan Cheng was speechless. He followed Cen Wenxing and escorted him back.

A storm was brewing, and the wind was getting stronger.

Tan Cheng tried to justify himself.

"I've calculated it. I've calculated the wind speed and the distance. The rain won't start for a while, so it's safe."

"Oh, are you calculating when you'll find me?"

"..."

The clumsy lies and awkward cover-ups made Cen Wenxing laugh.

As if slapping Tan Cheng in the face, rain began to fall from the sky.

Cen Wenxing burst out laughing in the rain.

Tan Cheng looked a little embarrassed. He hesitated for a moment, then reached out and pressed Cen Wenxing's head down.

"We're going to get rainwater to drink."

Cen Wenxing glanced at him, said nothing, and returned to the production crew with her violin.

Almost as soon as we entered, a torrential downpour began.

The director was terrified and immediately had someone bring him a towel.

Tan Cheng grabbed the towel and started wiping Cen Wenxing's violin case, even faster than Cen Wenxing himself.

I only dared to open the violin case after wiping the rainwater off the outside.

Thankfully, nothing got wet inside.

"There's nothing in the stars..."

Just as Tan Cheng looked up, a large, dry towel fell down and covered his head.

Cen Wenxing dried his hair and took the violin from his hands.

"I'm going upstairs to take a hot shower first."

The director agreed.

Tan Cheng stood up with a towel, but his knee suddenly hurt, and he almost fell down again.

Just now, he was completely worried about Xingxing outside, but now that he's recovered, the pain has made his face turn pale.

The director then noticed that his knee was injured again, and his pants were stained with blood.

"Mr. Tan, are you alright? Don't move your knee too much. You were seriously injured last time. Where are the medical staff?"

"The medical staff are in another room; this room only has a medicine kit."

Cen Wenxing turned around.

The room was a complete mess.

Do you know how to bandage?

"I don't know how."

"Well... how about we cut the pants open first? Mr. Tan, please sit down."

Tan Cheng leaned on the table and moved to a chair to sit down.

The person in front of me was holding scissors, gesturing left and right but unable to bring themselves to cut.

The scissors were taken from someone, and Cen Wenxing squatted down in front of Tan Cheng, pinched the pants, and cleanly cut them open, leaving only a piece stuck to the wound.

Cen Wenxing tried to pull it.

Does it hurt?

"It doesn't hurt."

Tan Cheng answered quickly, even breathing softly, afraid of disturbing the person in front of him.

It's very windy and rainy outside.

The windows were rattling in the wind, as if they might explode at any moment.

But Tan Cheng felt an unprecedented sense of peace and tranquility.

"I'll endure the pain."

"Um."

Cen Wenxing carefully tore off the piece of cloth.

The wound hadn't healed from last time, and it's gotten worse this time; it looks a bit scary.

The only saving grace was that the wound didn't get muddy because of the pants.

Cen Wenxing took a bottle of water and rinsed the wound.

Just as he collapsed, Tan Cheng hissed.

"Bear with it."

"Hmm, it doesn't hurt."

Cen Wenxing's gaze swept over Tan Cheng's hands, which were gripping the edge of the chair. He took out iodine from the first-aid kit to disinfect the wound before bandaging it.

The director couldn't help but praise Cen Wenxing for his skillful hands.

"It's just a simple treatment. Once the rain subsides a bit, we'll need to have a doctor come and take care of it."

The director readily agreed.

Cen Wenxing went upstairs to take a shower, and when she came out, she saw Tan Cheng sitting in the corridor with a thermos in his hand.

When she saw him come out, she stood up and handed him the thermos.

“I asked the landlord to make some ginger soup.”

Cen Wenxing accepted it, saying, "Thank you."

He went into the room.

Tan Cheng took two steps to catch up.

"Star, did you used to get hurt often?"

"Otherwise what? Did you think I was born into a wealthy family like you? Oh, no, you've seen my picture, you must have gone to that bar. Don't be fooled by how respectable it looks now, it used to be a complete mess."

People get injured every day.

"Get some rest, thank you for today."

Although it didn't help much, it also injured me.

Cen Wenxing was about to close the door.

Tan Cheng hurriedly said, "Wait a minute."

Cen Wenxing:?

"You have a boyfriend?"

Cen Wenxing nodded, "Yes."

Even though he was mentally prepared, Tan Cheng's face still turned ashen when he heard Cen Wenxing admit it himself.

The injuries and pain on his face were so obvious that Cen Wenxing could easily see into his heart.

It's worse than the injury on my knee.

Cen Wenxing: "Is there anything else?"

"That's all, you should get some rest."

"Um."

The door was closed.

Tan Cheng stood in the corridor for a very long time until he felt pain from his wound, and then he slowly left.

After the rainstorm, the sky cleared, and a rainbow hung in the sky.

Cen Wenxing walked out of the room but did not see Tan Cheng.

After asking around, they learned that the medical conditions on the island were poor, and fearing that he might develop a chronic illness, Tan Cheng was taken away by the medical team.

Cen Wenxing nodded and didn't ask anything more.

He went out for a walk, casually sat on the hillside, enjoying the sea breeze and looking at the distant horizon.

Alice walked over to him. "What are you thinking about?"

"I want to smoke."

"No way! You're filming a show! Besides, it's been so long since you last smoked, and now you're thinking about smoking again? You can't smoke."

When Cen Wenxing gained some fame, he rarely went to bars anymore, and his drinking and smoking gradually came under control after his assistant arrived.

After all, violinists are seen as sacred and noble in the eyes of the world, so how could they be associated with these things?

"Isn't this a case of holding back? I was just thinking about it."

Alice sat down next to him and looked at the horizon with him.

"After the show airs, you will definitely become very famous. Every tour will be sold out. You will receive many flowers and applause, and many people will like you."

Cen Wenxing laughed, "They like me, but they don't really like me."

Alice was unhappy.

"Xing, you're not romantic at all!"

Cen Wenxing fell backward onto the grass.

The grass was still wet, but he didn't care.

His eyelashes were long and curled, and his beautiful eyes were sparkling with tears.

"Alice, don't be fooled by romantic appearances; you only have one heart."
