Cao Bin blinked and said awkwardly, "Uh, no, it's nothing, I came to help!"
Chu Yang handed him the shovel: "Here's a chance for you to show off."
Cao Bin took over and actually started doing it quite skillfully, his movements were surprisingly adept.
The pancake vendor, left aside, looked puzzled: "Cao Bin? What's this...?"
"Sister Junjun, this is my good buddy from the same dorm. You've met Ji Mo and Jiang Chao before. This is our dorm leader, Chu Yang," Cao Bin introduced.
"I apologize for my earlier rudeness, I was just joking, please don't take it to heart," Chu Yang said, taking a bite of a green onion.
Then he held it to Zhou Yang's lips: "It smells really good, would you like a bite?"
Zhou Yang almost opened her mouth, but the strong smell of scallions deterred her: "I don't want it, thank you."
"Boss, how's the situation?" Jiang Chao asked in a low voice.
Chu Yang nodded: "Not bad, we can date."
Then, feeling Zhou Yang pinch the flesh around her waist again, she quickly changed her mind: "You can date Cao Laosan."
Just then, a loud rumble came, and pedestrians on the street hurriedly moved aside. Chu Yang and his companions turned their heads and saw a man with blond hair, skinny as a skeleton, wearing a tight T-shirt and tight pants, and with a dragon tattoo on his arm, riding a red ghost fire bike that roared by.
He slammed on the brakes in front of the stall, glanced at Chu Yang and the others, then walked arrogantly to Jun Jun and extended his hand.
Junjun's face turned ugly: "I just put it out, and I haven't sold many yet."
"What about this morning's?" the blond-haired man demanded.
"Business wasn't good this morning, I didn't sell much," Junjun Shi said, feeling aggrieved.
The blond-haired man glared at her, went to the back, and shoved Cao Bin aside, saying, "Go cool off somewhere else!"
Then he picked up the little red bucket where the money was kept, reached out and grabbed nothing, not even leaving a single penny.
"You can't take it all! How am I supposed to set up my stall tomorrow if I don't have money to buy more stock!" Junjun cried in distress and tried to snatch it back, but was violently pushed away by Huang Mao.
"Sister Junjun!" Cao Bin rushed over to support her, glaring angrily at the blond-haired man: "Are you even a man? What kind of skill is it to bully a woman!"
The blond-haired man laughed, looking him up and down: "Kid, I've seen you once before. What, you've got your eye on my wife?"
Cao Bin immediately realized he was in the wrong, after all, she was someone else's wife.
The blond-haired man walked over with a grin, pulled Junjun over, put his arm around her shoulder, and said with a smile, "Do you like it? Give me 100,000 yuan, and I'll trade with you!"
"Huang Li! Don't go too far!" Junjun broke free from him, tears of humiliation streaming down her face.
Huang Li shrugged, looking completely unconcerned.
Then he saw a hundred-yuan note on the table, his eyes lit up, and he reached out and picked it up.
But it was taken away by a hand first.
Huang Li got angry: "My hundred yuan!"
Looking up, I saw a handsome young man smiling and saying, "That's my hundred yuan."
"Fuck you!" Huang Li raised his fist, ready to explode.
Then two more boys stood out behind Chu Yang.
His expression froze: "Hmph, so what if you have a lot of people? I'll remember you, you just wait!"
After saying that, he mounted his will-o'-the-wisp and sped away with a thunderous roar.
Cao Bin was left behind in anger, Junjun was wiping away tears, Ji Mo and Jiang Chao were cursing, Zhou Yang was filled with righteous indignation, and Chu Yang was deep in thought.
Chu Yang could already imagine the general plot of the pancake beauty's situation.
"Old Deng, is it safe to park my will-o'-the-wisp downstairs?"
“Dad, you don’t understand him at all. Even though he has tattoos, blond hair, tight pants and loafers, and isn’t very tall, he’s really good to me, and we’re already planning to get married!”
Huang Li is probably the original "Ghost Fire Yellow Hair".
A lazy, good-for-nothing young man used deception to win Junjun's heart.
So, in the end, Old Deng didn't cut the blond guy into pieces, but chose to let him go.
Fate played a cruel trick on Junjun, and she paid a heavy price for her initial choice.
"She's so pitiful," Zhou Yang sighed.
“It’s pitiful, but she still has a choice. It may not be the right one, but it’s better than what she’s doing now.” Chu Yang looked at Cao Bin.
Cao Bin was comforting his sister Junjun, his eyes filled with heartache.
"Let's go," Chu Yang said.
"Where are we going?" Zhou Yang asked, puzzled.
"Of course we're going to cook. Shu'er should be waiting for us." Chu Yang took the groceries from her hands.
"And what about them?" Zhou Yang asked.
"We'll talk about it later." Chu Yang had already made up his mind. He said to Ji Mo and Jiang Chao, "Find out the exact location of Huang Li's gambling at the South City Seafood Market. We'll meet at the street outside at nine o'clock tonight."
After saying that, he left with Zhou Yang.
Ji Mo and Jiang Chao sensed that he was about to do something big again, and they immediately became excited.
"It has to be the boss, he really steps up when his brothers are in trouble!"
"Even Shao Long was beaten down by the boss, let alone a mere blond kid riding a ghost fire!"
…
"So, the biggest worry about raising a daughter is that when she grows up, she'll end up riding on a wildfire with some blond-haired thug."
In Zhou Yang's apartment, Chu Yang recounted what had just happened, leaving Li Qingshu both surprised and sympathetic.
Surprisingly, Chu Yang's roommate fell in love with this woman.
I also sympathize with this woman's plight.
No woman could tolerate a husband who gambles, drinks heavily, and commits domestic violence.
"I really don't understand why they still won't get a divorce after all this. If it were me, I would definitely fight back!" Zhou Yang said.
“Everyone has a different personality. If it were you, Zhou Yang, you wouldn’t choose such a street-smart young punk,” Chu Yang said with a smile.
Zhou Yang glared at him, almost saying, "You're the one I chose, right?"
