"How about you sell it to me?"
The sound from outside the door startled the Lu father and son.
Old Lu roared, "Who's there, eavesdropping? Get lost!"
Ah Kun panicked and jumped up from the ground: "Dad, they're here to buy a house!"
Old Lu glared at him: "Who are you trying to fool? We just said we were going to sell the house, and someone immediately came to buy it?"
Then, suspiciously, he asked, "Could it be that you, you scoundrel, conspired with outsiders to frame your father?"
"No way, Dad, I swear I absolutely didn't!" Ah Kun raised his hand and swore, "If I did, may my whole family die!"
"..."
Just then, the door was pushed open, and a young figure walked in, wearing a school uniform, carrying a backpack, and holding a black bag in his hand.
"Sorry for coming uninvited," Chu Yang said with a smile.
Old Lu sized him up and down, then sneered, "Where did this wild brat come from? Get out!"
Ah Kun recognized him and exclaimed in surprise, "It's you!"
Old Lu frowned: "You two know each other?"
“Dad, it’s this kid. He asked me a few days ago if I was selling the house. I even ran into him at the foot massage parlor!” Ah Kun said.
Old Lu slapped him hard on the nose and said, "You still dare to go to a foot massage parlor!"
Ah Kun covered his face, looking aggrieved.
"Are you going to sell or not? If not, I'm leaving." Chu Yang said, turning to leave.
"Hey, no, no, no!"
Ah Kun quickly came over and pulled him away.
"Brother, please have a seat! Dad, why aren't you pouring some tea for him?"
After saying that, he got another tap on the forehead, and then obediently went to pour himself some tea.
"You dare to order me around?" Old Lu cursed as he sat down opposite Chu Yang.
"Young man, you don't look very old, are you still a student?"
Chu Yang readily admitted, "That's right, but there's no rule that says students can't buy houses, is there? I'm already over eighteen and have an ID card."
Old Lu chuckled: "That's possible, but it would be best to call your parents over so that things can be discussed more easily."
Without saying a word, Chu Yang put the bag on the table.
The bag was opened, revealing stacks of cash inside.
Then he slowly said, "Now, can we discuss this properly?"
Ah Kun, who brought the tea over, was immediately stunned.
This amount of cash is estimated to be at least 500,000!
He immediately placed the tea in front of Chu Yang and said excitedly, "It's negotiable! It's so negotiable! Please have some tea! What's your name, sir?"
"My surname is Chu," Chu Yang said.
"Little Chu," Old Lu glared at his son, signaling him to shut up, then said to Chu Yang, "It seems you came prepared. Tell me, which of my properties are you interested in?"
Chu Yang didn't beat around the bush and said directly, "The building right across from the school gate."
Old Lu was somewhat surprised: "Kid, you have good taste! You know that's my best property!"
Chu Yang shook his head: "No, that's your most dilapidated building."
"But that's the best spot!" Old Lu slammed his hand on the table.
Chu Yang slammed his hand on the table: "It's about to collapse, what's the use of a good location?"
After saying that, he leaned back in his chair and smiled, "Name your price."
He had already inspected all eight properties owned by the Lu family beforehand. Putting aside the issue of demolition, although the location near the school was good, it wasn't the best one.
Old Lu simply thought he could manipulate him because he was young, and wanted to sell him at a higher price.
But Chu Yang's demeanor hardly resembled that of a young man.
Old Lu was a little confused.
"Dad, hurry up and give them an offer!" Ah Kun's eyes were fixed on the banknotes on the table, wishing he could snatch them and take them to Brother Biao to redeem his money.
"Shut up!" Old Lu sighed inwardly. They were both young, but this kid was eighteen while his own good-for-nothing son was twenty.
How can the difference be so big!
"Two thousand per square meter! My five-story building, 150 square meters per floor, is worth 1.5 million in total!" Old Lu chuckled: "Young man, the money you brought is still far from enough."
This is price gouging.
Chu Yang remained unmoved.
"You think I don't know the market? I've looked it up. The highest price for a house on the bustling second street is only 1,200. There are several newer and better-located places than yours."
"Do you think I have too much money to burn and want to buy your old house that costs 2,000 yuan per square meter?"
"Good location, then tell me, what can you do with it? Open a convenience store or an arcade?"
Old Lu was rendered speechless by the rebuttal.
In addition, Ah Kun was burdened with a mountain of debt.
They're coming at this time because they've identified your lack of leverage in negotiating prices.
Ah Kun, eager to get the money, wholeheartedly agreed, saying, "Dad, what he said seems to make a lot of sense."
Old Lu twitched the corner of his mouth. "You idiot, calling you mentally challenged is no exaggeration!"
He sighed helplessly, "Fine, twelve hundred it is!"
Ah Kun was overjoyed.
To everyone's surprise, Chu Yang, without saying a word, picked up the bag of money, his face dark, and walked out.
Ah Kun quickly stepped forward and grabbed him.
"Don't go! You can't leave! What will I do if you leave..."
For him, Chu Yang was now his only lifeline, so how could he let him go so easily?
At this moment, Ah Kun had lost his former bandit-like demeanor and showed no trace of arrogance.
He's just a weakling burdened with gambling debts, yearning for redemption.
"The price is negotiable, very negotiable!"
He pulled Chu Yang to sit down again.
Old Lu did not stop him, his expression shifting between light and dark, and slowly said, "How can I trust you?"
Chu Yang calmly said, "Speak plainly."
Old Lu took out a pack of Double Happiness cigarettes, popped one into his mouth, lit it, and took a puff.
