Seeing Shu'er come out, Xiao Li quickly broke free from Chu Yang's embrace.
"I'm going to take a shower."
She wiped away her tears, grabbed a change of clothes, and went into the bathroom.
Chu Yang blinked and looked at Shu'er: "Um, you..."
Shu'er ignored him completely, walked straight past him, and headed into the lounge.
Chu Yang grabbed her hand and hugged her like he was holding a little pear.
“It’s not that I’ve made up with her, nor that I chose her over you. I can’t give up either of you, and neither can you, Xiaoli, Chunyue, or Xiaoyang.” He said firmly.
"Please don't leave me, Shu'er." She hugged him even tighter as she spoke.
Shu'er didn't speak or struggle; two lines of tears slid down her cheeks, wetting his chest.
After a long while, she choked up and said, "I used to think that you were devoted to me, but later you became fickle, and now you are fickle in four directions. What about the future? Is your heart a hornet's nest?"
She slowly raised her head, her eyes brimming with tears: "I can only accept Sister Zhou Yang; this is my limit."
"Choose either them or us. Come hug me after you've made your choice." With that, she struggled free, turned and went into the lounge, closing and locking the door behind her.
Chu Yang smiled helplessly.
Now the situation has developed into a choice between four options and two choices. Xiaoli and Shuer's attitudes are very clear: they can only choose one side.
But he doesn't know how to choose; he wants them all.
Not long after, Xiaoli came out after taking a bath.
Chu Yang quickly stood in front of the lounge door.
"Move aside, I want to sleep," Xiaoli said angrily.
"Aren't you scared after watching a horror movie? I'll sleep with you," Chu Yang said with a smile.
"I'm not afraid!" Xiaoli pushed him away, quickly slipped into the lounge, and locked the door.
Chu Yang was alone in the corridor once again.
"Okay, I'll keep guarding." He wasn't discouraged. He grabbed a cushion, turned off the light, and lay down on the hallway floor.
Others are alone in their empty rooms, but he is alone in the empty corridor.
The night was quiet, and I couldn't sleep through the long night.
Chu Yang would lie on his side facing the door next to Shu'er's side, and then on his side facing Xiao Li's side, trying to be fair and not favor one side.
He noticed that the lights on both sides were always on.
It seems horror movies have a strong aftereffect; I'm even afraid to turn off the lights when I sleep.
Just then, thunder rumbled outside again, and it started raining again.
"Thunder and rain... I've got it." Chu Yang's heart skipped a beat.
Then he quietly got up, found the company's electrical box, and turned off the power.
The next second, Xiaoli and Shuer screamed.
He quickly returned to the corridor and lay down.
As expected, both doors opened quickly.
They used their cell phone lights for illumination, their expressions were panicked, and their bodies were trembling.
Chu Yang pretended not to know anything and rubbed his eyes: "Hmm? What's wrong?"
"The power's out again," Xiaoli said in a trembling voice.
Chu Yang stood up: "Why is there a power outage again? But it's okay, it's so late anyway, and the weather isn't hot, so a power outage won't affect my sleep."
Xiao Li bit her lip and said in a barely audible voice, "You, you come in and keep me company."
As soon as she finished speaking, Shu'er grabbed Chu Yang's hand: "Come over here."
“Come over here!” Xiaoli grabbed his hand.
Come over here!
"I'm here!"
"Over here!"
"..."
Like a tug-of-war, Chu Yang was pulled back and forth, and said helplessly, "How about you cut me in half and each of you take half?"
Seeing that neither of them was willing to give in, he didn't say a word, but pulled hard and pulled them both towards him. He then wrapped his arms around their waists, lifted them up with one hand each, and walked into a lounge.
I went to the bedside and gently helped her lie down.
"The bed is a bit cramped, so I'll just have to make do and sleep in the middle."
Xiao Li and Shu'er were a little confused by his combo, and only now did they realize something was wrong.
You call this feeling wronged?
She tried to struggle to get up, but he held her tightly in his arms.
"Alright, I can't sleep on either side. If we sleep together, I won't offend anyone. If you don't agree, then you two can go back to your own rooms, and I'll continue sleeping in the hallway." Chu Yang's voice rang in their ears.
Xiao Li and Shu'er immediately froze.
There was no way around it; with thunder, wind, and rain raging outside, a power outage, and having just watched a horror movie, who would dare to sleep alone?
Although I was reluctant, to be honest, lying next to this guy made me feel quite safe.
At least he's just a pervert; he won't really hurt or scare them.
Other ghosts might be a different story.
"...Just one night, and you're not allowed to do anything reckless!" Shu'er said softly.
“Me too, but that doesn’t mean I forgive you, you bad guy!” Xiaoli said.
"Okay, okay, go to sleep and don't fight," Chu Yang replied.
Then I hugged them tightly, one in each arm, and let their heads rest on my chest.
In the darkness, they were very close, and could feel each other's breath.
Feeling strange, I wanted to leave, but I couldn't bear to part with this guy's warm and solid chest.
"Let me make this clear first, I'm not compromising," Xiaoli said softly.
"I know you're just afraid of ghosts and don't dare to sleep alone," Shu'er replied softly.
"Aren't you the same?" Xiaoli retorted.
"I'm not as scared as you. You opened the door first."
"I opened the door first, but you grabbed him first!"
"..."
"Hey, hey, hey, we agreed not to argue. If you keep arguing, I'm leaving," Chu Yang said, trying to stop them.
Now that he had the opportunity to take advantage of it, he naturally wanted to make the most of it.
