Chapter 205 It seems his career isn't going very well either.

"Family members?" Chu Yang realized that it meant bringing boyfriends, so he smiled and said, "Of course, bring any boyfriends you have."

After the young lady finished making the call and sent the address for the meal, Chu Yang took her there first.

A dozen minutes later, we found Lao Zhang's Private Kitchen.

Back then, the concept of private chefs hadn't become widespread, unlike in later years when many were just using the concept of private chefs but were actually no different from regular restaurants.

Therefore, private chefs at this time should be of high quality and trustworthy.

The shop recommended by Zhou Yang is located at the end of the street, next to a small lake. The shop is built by the lake and looks quite old, like a lakeside cottage, very elegant.

There were only two tables of customers at that moment.

“There are people fishing by the lake,” the young lady said, pointing.

"Okay, let's go fishing for one later." Chu Yang put his arm around her and walked into the shop.

The guests were a couple in their fifties, who were very friendly and had a warm smile. They arranged a table by the lake for us.

The young lady, aside from not eating celery, wasn't particularly picky about food, so she let Chu Yang order.

"There are seven of us, so let's make a table of your signature dishes according to this amount. As for the wine, I see they're drinking Nu'er Hong, right? Bring us two bottles as well. We can order the rest when our companions arrive," Chu Yang said.

"Alright, please have a seat and some tea. If you'd like to go fishing, we have fishing rods and bait here. If you catch any fish, you can have them cooked by me." After saying that, Old Zhang went to the kitchen to get busy.

The fishing rod is the old-fashioned kind, a slender bamboo pole, a line with a foam float, a fishhook, and a small cup with a few live earthworms inside.

Chu Yang learned to make this kind of fishing rod when he was a child, and used it to catch crucian carp in the ditches.

"Let's see if we can catch anything." He picked up a rod, threaded an earthworm onto the hook, and then cast it into the water over the wooden railing.

The young lady leaned on the railing, quietly staring at the foam buoy.

"When we catch it, should we steam it or braise it?" she asked curiously.

"That depends on what kind of fish you catch. Steamed bass, braised carp, and fried crucian carp are all pretty good." Chu Yang pulled up a stool and sat down, looking relaxed.

The buoy remained motionless. After watching for a while, the young lady lost interest, turned her head to the side, rested her head on her arm, blinked her clear eyes, and stared intently at him.

As the setting sun slowly descended, it cast a glowing light on the lake's surface.

A gentle breeze swept across the lake, brushed against the weeping willows on the shore, and touched the strands of hair on her forehead.

Chu Yang turned to meet her gaze, feeling that the evening scene was serene and beautiful.

"Chu Yang, when will you take me to your home?" the young lady asked softly.

The question made Chu Yang feel a little guilty.

After all, they brought the little pear home first, and it won the favor of their parents and was given as a gift from their grandmother's treasured possession.

But the young lady had nothing.

But I can't bring them all home, my mom already thinks I'm two-timing her. If I bring another one home, I'll probably get a beating from the family.

Although in reality, he was juggling four relationships.

Sigh, having too many boats really makes it harder to steer; we can't add any more in the future.

He thought for a moment and then asked in return, "What, are you in such a hurry to marry me?"

The young lady blushed and said, "No, I was just curious about what your childhood home was like."

"Then I'll take you to see it next time you have a holiday," Chu Yang said.

"Okay," the young lady said with anticipation.

Then she stopped talking and continued to watch him quietly.

After a while, a voice sounded from behind.

"Qing Shu, we're here!"

Chu Yang turned around and saw three women and one man. He recognized one of the women from before; her name was Qin Xiaozhen.

The other two girls, one of medium build and pretty, were holding hands with a boy who was probably her boyfriend.

The other girl was quite pretty, with a slender and tall figure. Her only flaw was that she was narrow-minded and couldn't afford to date someone with an A cup.

"Chu Yang, these are my three roommates. You've met Qin Xiaozhen before," Li Qingshu stepped forward to introduce them.

"This is Wang Xia and her boyfriend Wang Gang, and this is Zhou Dandan."

Chu Yang put down his fishing rod, stood up and smiled, "Hello, I've heard Shu'er talk about you. You're all beautiful and kind-hearted sisters. I'll be grateful if you could help take care of her in the future. Please sit down, the dishes will be served soon."

"Qing Shu, your boyfriend is really good with words, and he's really handsome," Wang Xia said with a light laugh.

"I told you, just like male celebrities, but you didn't believe me," Qin Xiaozhen snorted.

Zhou Dandan didn't agree, but instead blurted out, "Why are you eating in a place like this?"

The scene fell silent.

Li Qingshu smiled and said, "The environment here is nice. Chu Yang said the food here is delicious. You'll see when you try it. Please sit down."

Qin Xiaozhen and Wang Xia both sat down, while Zhou Dandan took out a tissue from her elegant bag and carefully wiped the chair before slowly sitting down.

He seemed somewhat reluctant.

Chu Yang saw this, but just smiled and said nothing.

Wang Gang walked over and asked with interest, "You can fish here? Did you catch anything?"

"Twenty minutes have passed, and we've caught nothing but air," Chu Yang laughed.

"I'll give it a try!" Wang Gang picked up the fishing rod.

"Then it's up to you." Chu Yang stepped aside, then took out a cigarette and handed it to him.

Wang Gang's eyes lit up: "Brother, you're something else! You can afford to smoke Huazi cigarettes, you're not an ordinary person!"

Then he took out a lighter, lit it for Chu Yang first, then lit his own, and took a satisfying puff.
