Although Ning Yin was somewhat surprised, she didn't think much of it, since she didn't want to pay any attention to Shen Yun at the moment.
She glanced at the man sideways, then turned and stepped into the room.

Shen Yun suppressed the anger in his eyes and strode forward.
He looked Ning Yin up and down, then suddenly chuckled sarcastically, "Ha, Ning Yin, is this your reason for rejecting me?"
"No wonder you were in such a hurry to leave, it turns out your sugar daddy came knocking. You're quite the charmer, aren't you? You've only been gone a short while and you've already hooked up with someone else!"
Ning Yin shook her head, chuckled, and met Shen Yun's face, which was on the verge of madness, with a faint look in her eyes.
He said indifferently, "Yes, I'm doing very well now. As you can see, my clinic is doing incredibly well, and I have no shortage of patients."
"General Shen, are you always so free? So free that you either trick me into coming to your door or secretly monitor me. Sometimes I wonder if you are the Protector General of the Great Qi or some petty thief?"

Her icy tone was laced with anger. "Ning Yin, your sugar daddy probably doesn't know you're just a discarded woman who's been kicked out of the house. I'd like to see how long you two can stay together. Don't come crying back to me when you're abandoned."
Shen Yun's words were full of threat, and he then forcefully shoved the man's hand away.
He strode quickly and mounted his horse.
Even though he had made some harsh remarks, he inexplicably felt uneasy.
He just wanted to leave as soon as possible; he was afraid that Ning Yin would see through his weakness if he stayed even a second longer.
