Wang glared angrily at Ning Yin, then hurriedly finished bandaging her wounds. Exhausted, she lay down on the bed.
"I'm so angry with you guys, none of you can give me a moment's peace."
Shen Yun didn't reply, but simply placed the bags on the table and took out a well-made garment from them.
When Ning Yin was brought out by him, she was wearing a white nightgown. Shen Yun somehow got some loose silver and went to the silk shop to buy Ning Yin a new outfit.
The clothes cost him most of the money; with the rest, he bought a roast chicken, some steamed buns, and some medicinal herbs.
Shen Yun took the clothes and looked at them. He thought about how Ning Yin always wore fine silks and satins in the palace, and now he could only buy her such cheap clothes. He couldn't help but feel a little sad.

With a guilty look on his face, he walked over and held the clothes up to Ning Yin's level.

The man's eyes were sincere, as if he truly cared for Ning Yin, which was why he did this.

With tears welling up in his eyes, Shen Yun slowly took the broken porcelain shards from Ning Yin's hand.
"You know, you can't hurt me unless I want to. Besides, you're pregnant now, so you should be thinking about taking care of your body, not killing someone, right? I bet you're starving, Ah Yin. How about we eat first?"
"Shen Yun, do you think you can move anyone by doing this? Or are you deceiving yourself? I don't need your care or your help. I just want to leave!"
"Ayin, don't talk nonsense. I said that once it's safe, you can do whatever you want!"
Hearing Shen Yun's every word of compromise, and even hearing that Ning Yin was pregnant, Wang Shi was instantly furious.
This shameless woman is a disgrace to the family.
She braced herself and walked over again, raising her hand with lightning speed to slap Ning Yin across the face.
Now, Wang doesn't care whether she lives or dies; right now, she has to avenge Yun'er.

"Fine, do whatever you want, this old woman isn't going to live much longer anyway!"
“You go with her, and Jia’er and I will just find a cemetery and bury ourselves.”
Watching the two people in front of her sing and dance in harmony, Ning Yin felt no emotion whatsoever; she simply found it laughable.
"You can continue, but please let me go."
"No, you're not allowed to go anywhere. Eat first."
The ropes binding her feet had not yet been untied, and Shen Yun did not intend to untie them for her. Instead, he picked her up and sat her down at the table.
"Have something to eat."
Shen Yun tore off a large chicken leg from the roast chicken and handed it to Ning Yin. Shen Jia, who was standing next to him, had her mouth covered, but her eyes were shining.
"I want, I want to eat chicken legs, brother."
Shen Jia rushed forward desperately, trying to snatch the chicken leg from Shen Yun's hand. Shen Yun quickly turned around and shoved the chicken leg into Ning Yin's hand.
Ning Yin hadn't felt hungry until she smelled the chicken leg, but now she felt like her stomach was about to start acting up.
Pregnant women are prone to hunger, and seeing that the sun was already high in the sky, she was naturally eager to eat.
Never mind, let's fill our stomachs first.
Shen Jia watched as Ning Yin stuffed the chicken leg into her mouth and couldn't help but burst into tears again.
Shen Yun then pulled out another chicken butt and gave it to Shen Jia.

Wang's face was dark, her gaze fixed on Ning Yin's slow, deliberate chewing of the chicken leg.
She took the chicken wings and sat down at the table, sarcastically remarking, "Heh, as expected of a noble lady from the palace, she eats everything with an air of royalty. It's just a pity she has no shame, pregnant with an illegitimate child yet eating with a clear conscience. If it were me, I'd rather find a pillar and kill myself. Is there no shame in living?"
"Mother, say less!"
