"Zihan, a mad dog is attacking. Move aside to avoid being bitten." Li Changfeng noticed the situation and pointed to the side bridge.
Ye Zihan nodded, said nothing more, and turned to walk away.
She knew she couldn't be of much help, so she tried not to cause any trouble.
This is not the time to dawdle, nor should we act willfully.
Ye Zihan knew better than anyone what to do.
The TV series portrays idiots, with scenes that insult their intelligence, like facing difficulties together or even living and dying together. They clearly can handle the situation on their own, but they insist on causing trouble and leading to an even bigger crisis.
Ye Zihan was very clear-headed and believed that Li Changfeng would be able to turn the danger into safety and be safe and sound.
They've been through so much together that some people haven't faced the same risks in several lifetimes.
Soon, more than a dozen people surrounded Li Changfeng, eyeing him menacingly and eager to fight.
A handsome young man walked over, looking arrogant with a smirk on his face, his head tilted back and his eyes looking down.
This must be what it means to be arrogant and haughty.
"Kid, I finally caught you." The young man tugged at his tie and loosened his collar.
"Who are you, sir?" Li Changfeng remained calm, though he had a guess in his mind.
"Zhu Haoran."
"So it was you."
"You know me?" Zhu Haoran asked, somewhat surprised.
"I've heard a little about it." Li Changfeng nodded. "He's just a rich young master who has a girlfriend and doesn't want to pay much attention to others."
They bring up the very thing they shouldn't be talking about, rubbing salt into the wound.
But since we've already resorted to physical violence, there's no need to hold back with words; if you want to hurt someone, then hurt them to the fullest extent.
Poke his lungs.
"You!!!" Zhu Haoran's face hardened.
Li Changfeng glanced at him sideways, his expression contemptuous. "Haven't you ever seen a woman before? Or are you unable to find a wife? How interesting. He already has a girlfriend, so isn't it normal for him to reject the Zhu family's advances?"
“You are jealous, even harboring hatred, and deliberately seeking opportunities for revenge. I have never seen such a narrow-minded person.”
"The Zhu family is quite prominent, and as a descendant of the Zhu family, I shouldn't lack women."
"Are you a born coward, with a wealthy background, yet unable to find a single woman?"
"Bullshit!" Zhu Haoran roared in anger. "I can change my women three times a day without breaking a sweat. I can just beckon them with a snap of my fingers and they'll come running like lapdogs, ready to be abused at my beck and call."
"I can't stand it when someone beats me to it, and the girl my family has arranged for me gets snatched up by someone else."
"They even rejected the Zhu family. This is intolerable!" Zhu Haoran stated his reasoning, clearly dissatisfied.
"Did I refuse? Shouldn't I be talking to the Shen family about this?"
"Do you think I'm easy to bully? Or are you outnumbered and outmatched?" Li Changfeng questioned.
Zhu Haoran was speechless after being rebuked, but he was still proud and thought, "Damn it! I just want to hit you, so what? I want to make an example of you."
"It's not too late to confront the Shen family after I've beaten you up."
"Then I'd like to see how you're going to hit me." Li Changfeng beckoned with his finger in a sly manner.
"You'll soon find out why the pot is made of iron and the flowers are so red. Get it ready!" Zhu Haoran waved his hand and gave the order.
A dozen or so people instantly attacked, heading straight for Li Changfeng. They were already prepared, just waiting for their young master's orders.
Now that the order has been given, this kid is going to be in trouble.
Li Changfeng dismissed them with disdain, not taking them seriously at all, and immediately launched a fierce attack.
These people are no match for him; they are like fireflies, simply offering themselves up for slaughter. Li Changfeng has seen far too many storms and countless grand scenes. A dozen or so people are nothing but small fry, like an old lady playing hopscotch and gossiping.
"oops!"
"Forehead!"
"My legs!"
"Splash!" Li Changfeng moved with lightning speed, throwing all these people into the lake, creating a huge splash.
In less than a minute, it was all done, no problem at all.
Dealing with them is easier than cleaning the house.
"Zhu Haoran, weren't you going to hit me?" Li Changfeng said with a half-smile. "Weren't you going to tell me why the flowers are so red?"
"With these good-for-nothings?"
"You...you..." Zhu Haoran stammered, his mouth sounding like he had a chicken gizzard in it.
Li Changfeng's figure flashed and disappeared abruptly. When he reappeared, Zhu Haoran was lifted into the air, his feet leaving the ground.
"I gave you a chance, but you were useless."
"Zhu Haoran, I will spare your life today. But if you remain obstinate and continue to cause me trouble, you will regret it for the rest of your life." Li Changfeng spoke each word with intense killing intent.
Zhu Haoran felt a chill run through him, as if he had fallen into an ice cellar.
His Adam's apple bobbed, and a cold sweat broke out. He could sense that Li Changfeng wasn't just talking; he really would kill.
That sharp, piercing gaze is captivating; he must have killed people, and more than one.
A powerful killing intent requires countless lives to be condensed and a large amount of blood to be forged; it cannot be produced by just one or two lives.
"I...I understand," Zhu Haoran said, his heart pounding with fear.
"Get lost!" Li Changfeng swung his arm, and Zhu Haoran plunged headfirst into the lake.
He didn't choose to kill, not out of mercy, but because Zhu Haoran wasn't too ruthless.
The harshest thing he ever said was: "This is intolerable! I'll show you that this pot is made of iron, so beat it!"
That's all.
Unlike some people who kill with their mouths open or shut their mouths, this is the main reason why Zhu Haoran was able to survive.
If he utters the word "kill," your life is in danger.
"Damn, you're awesome!" A voice came from not far away, and a cheeky young man was beaming with excitement.
Then he leaned over the railing and shouted, "Zhu Haoran, you son of a bitch, stop showing off!"
"Now you've bitten off more than you can chew."
"Serves you right! Why don't you just beat the crap out of me, you son of a bitch!"
This person was unfamiliar; Li Changfeng did not recognize him.
"Dude, your martial arts are so good, you actually took down more than a dozen experts from the Zhu family all by yourself." The man chuckled.
"So-so," Li Changfeng said calmly.
"Hey, do you take on apprentices? Let me introduce myself. My name is Ji Bochang, from the Ji family in the provincial capital."
Isn't this name a bit too arrogant? Was it chosen by your family? Or did you change it later?
It's estimated that a lot will be changed later. Men care about their reputation and are stubborn, so they try to make up for their innate shortcomings with their names.
"I'm sorry, I don't accept apprentices." Li Changfeng refused. How could he accept a stranger who came up to him and asked to become his disciple, someone he knew nothing about and was not familiar with?
Furthermore, Li Changfeng never intended to take on any disciples.
I'm still young, only in my early twenties, not an old man.
"Zihan, we're leaving." Li Changfeng waved into the distance.
Ye Zihan saw this and strode over with her long legs.
"Master, please accept me as your disciple. I've loved martial arts since I was a child and dream of becoming a great hero. I hope to be able to leap across rooftops, uphold justice, and slay all the evil people in the world." Ji Bochang kept nagging and rambling on beside Li Changfeng.
Calling someone "master" without their permission is truly something else.
They've gone all out and are shameless.
