Chapter 1146 Conflict Between Fans (1/2)

Chapter 1146 Conflict Between Fans "You!"

Su Nianwei's face flushed with anger. "How could you say that? Wang Yueheng was a guest personally invited by Jay Chou! Jay Chou himself acknowledges his talent!"

“Yes, Jay Chou even praised him at the movie promotion event last night!” Zhang Xiaowen added.

"Inviting guests is nothing more than a matter of personal relationships and generating buzz!" Chen Zhike scoffed. "Isn't that how it is in the entertainment industry?"

The noise from both sides grew louder and louder, attracting the attention of many people in the surrounding area.

Some of Jay Chou's longtime fans, while feeling that Chen Zhike's words were a bit excessive, also began to chime in out of sympathy:

"It may be a bit blunt, but it's the truth. Jay Chou's status is indeed unmatched."

"Wang Yueheng's songs are good, but they are indeed still a long way from Jay Chou's."

Wang Yueheng's fans and supporters, however, felt aggrieved:

"Why do you say that? Why should music be compared to social status?"

"What's wrong with military singers? Is it wrong to promote positive energy?"

"That's prejudice!"...

Just as the dispute between the two sides was escalating and the crowd of onlookers was growing.

Several people carrying cameras and mobile phone live streaming equipment keenly sensed a "news point" and quickly squeezed over.

The leader was a man in his thirties with a small mustache and shrewd eyes, named Wu Zongsheng.

She is a reporter for "Entertainment Explosion," a new media outlet in northern Taiwan known for its gossip and sensational reporting.

He was followed by a photographer and an assistant.

"Wow! Ladies and gentlemen! We're currently outside the Taipei Arena concert venue, and it looks like there's something exciting going on here!"

As soon as Wu Zongsheng squeezed to the front, he immediately signaled the cameraman to turn on the camera, and then started a live broadcast on his phone, speaking in an exaggerated tone.

"Did you see that? It seems like Jay Chou's fans and Wang Yueheng's fans had some 'friendly exchange'! They seem to have different opinions about tonight's guest!"

He deliberately pointed the camera at Chen Zhike, whose face was flushed, and Su Nianwei, who was clenching her fists in anger, and also extended the microphone.

"Excuse me, did you just say that Wang Yueheng is not worthy of sharing the stage with Jay Chou? Could you elaborate?"

"Does this represent the sentiments of many die-hard Jay Chou fans?"

Wu Zongsheng asked Chen Zhike a leading question.

When Chen Zhike saw the camera, he was stunned for a moment. Then, a sense of vanity and the illusion of being supported made him even more excited. So he shouted into the camera: "That's right! Jay Chou is a one-of-a-kind king of pop. His concert should remain pure! I don't understand why they invited an artist from the mainland who became famous through official connections and accidental events to be a guest. This is unfair to the fans who bought tickets to see Jay Chou's concert!"

"You're talking nonsense!"

Su Nianwei shouted into the camera, "Wang Yueheng is an excellent musician, and his works speak for themselves! Jay Chou's invitation to him is a testament to his talent! This is narrow-minded regional prejudice and idol discrimination!"

A triumphant smile flashed in Wu Zongsheng's eyes; this was exactly the kind of conflict he wanted.

The number of viewers in the live stream is rising rapidly, and arguments are starting to break out in the chat.

He then turned the microphone to the other audience members around him, specifically targeting those who were emotionally agitated and spoke in an extreme manner:

"Auntie, what do you think? Do you think it's appropriate for Wang Yueheng, as a military singer, to appear at a commercial concert?"

"Brother, do you think Jay Chou should be mentoring more local newcomers from the North Bay Area, rather than mainland artists?"

His questions were highly inflammatory, deliberately ignoring the voices of moderates and constantly amplifying the confrontational sentiments.

Some audience members who were initially neutral or only whispering were also drawn in, and the atmosphere became increasingly tense.

Finally, after another provocative question from Wu Zongsheng...
