"Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something wrong with me?" she asked softly.
"What do you think?" he immediately asked her, his question carrying a rather profound meaning.
"Is there really something wrong? Let me take a look in the mirror." With that, Bai Zhi opened the bedside table, preparing to take out a small mirror.
He grabbed her arm and brought his face close to hers. "Little vixen, pretending to be stupid? You have those seductive eyes, wantonly tempting men, huh?"
"I didn't! Don't label me like that! I can't take that!" She suddenly felt extremely angry. How could he say such things about her, making her sound so terrible? It was so hurtful to her self-esteem! She shook off his hand.
