"Is Mr. Ou dining alone? May I dine with you?" Li Mei asked gently, her beautiful eyes shining with hope as she looked at Mr. Ou.
Ou Shao glanced at her and said in a calm voice, "I made an appointment with my girlfriend, she'll be here soon."
"Oh," Li Mei felt a deep disappointment. Young Master Ou had another girlfriend. Her departure back then, and her reappearance now, seemed to have caused him no emotional reaction whatsoever. "Young Master Ou, because of my sudden departure back then, do you still hate me?"
"No, you're overthinking it." Ou Shao's magnetic voice still lacked warmth.
Li Mei's eyes welled up with tears, and her throat tightened. "Young Master Ou, I'm sorry. I had my reasons for leaving you back then. I love you, and you have to believe me."
What? Luo Xiaoyi was completely dumbfounded. Just how many girlfriends had Young Master Ou had? And all of them were her girlfriends? It turned out that this man was just a philandering playboy. She was really stupid to think he was so good and to trust him so much.
Luo Xiaoyi couldn't take it anymore. She turned around angrily, and strode quickly toward the door in her high heels.
Mo Nan quickly stepped in front of her, "Miss Luo, President Ou is waiting for you to dine. Where are you going?"
Luo Xiaoyi roared angrily, "Where I go is none of your business! Get out of my way!"
Ou Zihan heard Luo Xiaoyi's angry voice and looked in the direction of the sound. Luo Xiaoyi's face was cold, and her eyes flashed with anger. She was being so fierce to Mo Nan. He was puzzled; Xiaoyi was usually quite gentle with people. What was wrong with her today?
Ou Zihan stood up, took long strides, and came to Luo Xiaoyi. His eyes shone with tenderness. "Xiaoyi, what's wrong? I've been waiting for you to eat here. Where are you going?"
Looking at his handsome face, Luo Xiaoyi thought he was a devil who could ruin women! "Nothing much? I ate in my room and now I have to go out to take care of some things."
Just then, Li Mei arrived. She froze the moment she saw Luo Xiaoyi. "Bai Zhi? You're back?"
Luo Xiaoyi looked at the astonished Li Mei, "I'm sorry, I'm not the Bai Zhi you know, I'm Luo Xiaoyi." She felt even more annoyed. This woman's question proved that Bai Zhi really existed, and what was she to her? She was utterly fed up.
Ou Zihan quickly explained, "She is Luo Xiaoyi."
