After finishing her shift, she dragged her tired steps out of the hospital gate. The work of a cleaner was much more physically demanding than that of a nurse, and she was so exhausted that her back ached.
As instructed by the president, Mo Nan arrived at the hospital entrance on time to pick her up. Mo Nan respectfully opened the car door for her, and she got into the car.
Luo Xiaoyi asked listlessly, "Mo Nan, where's President Ou?"
Mo Nan replied politely, "Miss Luo, the president went to Country C on a business trip regarding a corporate acquisition proposal. He will be back in a few days, and he asked me to let you know."
"Oh, I see." Luo Xiaoyi felt a little empty inside. She had played with President Ou like that by drugging him; was he really angry? He didn't even tell her he was going on a business trip.
"Miss Luo, are we going back to the annex or the main residence of the Ou family manor today?" Mo Nan asked.
The secondary residence is where Luo Xiaoyi's family lives now, while the main residence is where President Ou lives now. Luo Xiaoyi feels too tired and doesn't want to go back to that noisy home.
“The main house, I suppose,” Luo Xiaoyi replied calmly.

Back at the main house, she asked the butler to instruct the servants to prepare a meal for her. After eating and taking a bath, she lay down on the comfortable and soft bed.
This was the first time she had slept alone since she had known Ou Zihan. There seemed to be a faint fragrance of Ou Zihan on the bed. Without him by her side, she felt a little uncomfortable.
What's wrong with her? What is she thinking? This man was never hers, he wasn't hers to begin with, so she shouldn't be so delusional.
