Chapter 118 Saving Her Brother, the Wall-Climbing Heroine Kong Ran
Shi Hu, who was the strongest fighter in the kindergarten, laughed when he heard Murong Chen say he was going to find someone to beat him: "Sure, if you can find someone who can beat me, you're amazing!"
Murong Chen snorted coldly and sent a message to Kong Ran: "Sister Ran, come to the playground quickly, I need help! A little bully from kindergarten is bullying me!"
The other side quickly responded with an expression of ecstatic joy: "Really? You wait, Sister Ran will arrive on the battlefield in three minutes!"
Upon seeing the message, Murong Chen breathed a sigh of relief.
Seeing this, the child next to Shi Hu whispered, "Brother Shi Hu, look at how smug he is, did he bring some older students with him...?"
Shi Hu glared at him: "Even if you find someone from a higher grade, would he dare to touch me?"
Knowing that Shi Hu's family had a powerful background, the child felt relieved: "Brother Shi Hu is right."
A short while later, Kong Ran appeared.
"Little Chenchen".
"Ran-jie, over here."
While brushing the dirt off his clothes, Kong Ran exclaimed, "Your kindergarten looks great everywhere, except the walls are so hard to climb."
Murong Chen: "...You climbed over the wall to get in?"
"Yeah, I'm not from your kindergarten, how could the gatekeeper let me in? Besides, martial arts masters never enter through the main gate, they all leap across rooftops and zip around..."
She exclaimed "Oh!"
Murong Chen quickly asked, "What's wrong? What happened?"
"I twisted my ankle when I jumped down."
Murong Chen: "..."
Shi Hu, growing impatient with their conversation, asked, "Murong Chen, is this the person you shook hands with?"
Murong Chen's face turned serious: "Yes."
Shi Hu laughed loudly: "Are you crazy? Her?"
Kong Ran was displeased by these words. She took a step forward, her aura imposing: "So it was you who bullied my brother?"
“You’re his older sister. I don’t hit girls. You make your brother apologize to me, and we’ll call it even…”
Before he could finish speaking, Kong Ran swept over with a whirlwind kick, hitting Shi Hu in the front tooth.
"Ah..." Shi Hu screamed and fell to the ground.
Kong Ran rubbed his little nose and struck a standard Taekwondo pose: "You know, most villains die from talking too much."
The stone tiger on the ground whimpered and, disregarding the unwritten rule of not hitting girls, shouted to the people around him, "What are you waiting for? Beat them up!"
The children finally snapped out of their shock and rushed toward Kong Ran and Murong Chen.
A group of people instantly descended into chaos.
The little girl in the corner, no longer caring about crying, stared blankly at the group of children tearing at each other, snot bubbles coming out of her nose.
Before long, the battle ended with an overwhelming victory for Kong Ran and Murong Chen.
Shi Hu and his men were beaten so badly they were in a sorry state, crying their eyes out.
Kong Ran clapped his hands, looking down at them: "So, are you convinced or not?"
Shi Hu's three companions nodded and begged for mercy: "We give up!"
Shi Hu shakily got up, but his face was full of resentment.
The chubby little body pointed at Kong Ran crookedly and said, "You, you dare to hit me? Do you know who my daddy is?"
Kong Ran turned his head and said, "Hey, I have such a bad temper!"
After saying that, she stepped forward to deliver another sweeping leg kick.
Before they even touched each other, Shi Hu covered his face and burst into tears: "Waaah, don't hit my face, don't hit my face, I give up, okay..."
Kong Ran's foot stopped just short of his face, and he withdrew it upon hearing his words: "That's more like it. Apologize to my brother?"
Shi Hu covered his face, looking aggrieved: "Brother Chen, I'm sorry."
Murong Chen put her hands on her hips, looking imposing: "Alright, alright, let's go."
The little kids on the ground all got up and followed Shi Hu, stumbling and wobbling.
Kong Ran turned to Murong Chen and asked, "How was it? Did you vent your anger?"
Murong Chen also joined the fight. He was covered in dirt and grime, and his face was filthy, but he seemed oblivious to it. Instead, his eyes sparkled: "Sister Ran, you're so cool! You truly deserve to be called the number one Taekwondo girl!"
Kong Ran clasped his hands in a gesture of humility, saying, "Brother, you flatter me, you flatter me."
Murong Chen returned the greeting, saying, "Sister, you're too modest."
"Um... thank you."
As the two were exchanging pleasantries, a faint sound suddenly came from the corner of the wall.
Murong Chen then realized that his little sister was still there!
He rushed over and helped her up: "Oh dear, are you alright? Are you hurt?"
The little girl shook her head and got up from the ground: "No, it's just... I can't move my legs."
Kong Ran, who was standing nearby, burst out laughing: "You've been squatting there for so long, your legs must be numb. Just get up and walk around."
The little girl blushed slightly, stretched a bit, and whispered, "Thank you so much for today. If it weren't for you, they would have taken my hair clip."
The little girl whispered, "This was left to me by my father, and I can't let anyone take it away."
Murong Chen quickly nodded: "That's right, if anyone tries to take the gift that Mommy or Daddy gave me, I'll fight them to the death!"
The little girl looked up at Murong Chen, her eyes shining: "You're so brave."
Where in his life has Murong Chen ever been praised like this?
Upon hearing this, he felt like he was floating on air, but he remembered that he had to be composed in front of the girl, so he scratched his head rather embarrassedly: "I wasn't much of a help. This time it was all thanks to my sister Ran. Otherwise, with so many people on the other side, I wouldn't have been able to handle it."
The little girl nodded earnestly, her eyes filled with admiration as she looked at Kong Ran: "You're really amazing. Can I learn to fight from you?"
The little girl's eyes were full of longing, shining brightly, and her skin was white and tender.
Kong Ran imagined a scene of this little white flower going out with bricks to fight alongside her, and immediately shook his head.
"You're so cute, fighting isn't for you. I live in the kindergarten next door, so call me if you need anything. I'll protect you from now on."
Hearing this, the little girl smiled shyly and said, "Okay, thank you."
"Hey, stop thanking me all the time. We've been chatting for so long, we're practically friends now, right? I still don't know your name?" Kong Ran asked.
"My name is Zhou Mian, you can call me Mianmian."
Mianmian, what a lovely name...
Murong Chen couldn't help but think to himself.
Seeing her younger brother's infatuated expression, Kong Ran rolled her eyes, turned around and patted Zhou Mian's shoulder: "My name is Kong Ran, and this is my younger brother, Murong Chen."
As she spoke, she suddenly leaned close to Zhou Mian's ear and whispered, "A terrible student."
Zhou Mian chuckled.
Murong Chen grew anxious: "Did you two talk badly about me?"
Kong Ran, now with a new best friend, ignored her younger brother: "Mind your own business. Alright, Mianmian, I have to go back. I skipped class to come here, and I'm relying on an inside man to cover for me. See you later!"
Zhou Mian nodded: "Okay, go back quickly, and be careful not to climb over the wall again."
Kong Ran chuckled: "Don't worry, I'm very good at bypassing the Great Firewall."
